A neighborhood staple with a wonderful ambiance and delicious food. We visited for the first time on a Saturday evening, and it did not disappoint. I started with the house salad, featuring fresh mozzarella and a house dressing that perfectly balanced the flavors of the greens and cheese. For our entrees, we had the Chicken Parmesan and upgraded to the cheese tortellini with tomato cream sauce--they were absolute pillows of deliciousness. We also enjoyed the gnocchi with pesto and a side of meatballs, both of which were excellent. The only downside is the need for reservations due to limited parking, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. read more

The owners of the business are very concerning. While I was eating my meal, there was much yelling in the kitchen which ruined the experience of the restaurant and my meal. Considering the high prices of the food and the struggle to actually make room for customers, the experience is not worth it. The servers are very nice, however the staff in the kitchen show much disrespect. It is usually a very nice place, and the food is very good, however there is much dispute and disrespect towards the employees. Sadly, I will not be visiting again due to the situations. read more

Nonna T's is a quaint little place with 10 or so tables. Great ambience. Service was wonderful & Nonna herself came over after the meal to say hello. Complementary bread was fresh & warm. Salad was large enough for 2. Eggplant Parmesan and tortellini in tomato cream sauce were delicious! Cheese Ravioli with marinara was overly salty unfortunately, the only disappointing dish we ordered. The tiramisu was amazing. All in all, a wonderful meal. Wise to make reservations. read more

Big Italian food junkie, and Nonna T's did not disappoint! This place is very quaint and there is such a warm feeling when you first walk in. The staff sat us promptly and were so friendly and accommodating. Jennifer was our server and she was awesome! There was also a younger girl who filled water and cleared dishes that was so nice and very good at her job. Warm bread with oil to dip is brought out with our waters. We started with some wine and eggplant parmesan, so good! Then we got chicken Marsala and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, which I loved. Pizza is my first go to at an Italian restaurant....if a restaurant can't get a pizza right....well, Nonna Ts hit the spot....and the Marsala was tender and very tasty. Finished up with tiramisu ....omg, not a huge tiramisu and this was some of the best I've ever had, loved it! Loved this place, we will definitely be going back soon! read more

We had a group of 12 people, called ahead for reservations, were not told they do not do separate checks. Waitress advised after we were seated that we would have 1 bill, and poorly explained that she would take 3 or 4 credit cards. What she meant was she would divide the bill by 3 or 4 and put that on separate cc. It was up to us to figure out who owed what to whom. Our group, which is normally 16-20, goes to various restaurants monthly in Lake County, and getting separate checks has never been a problem. I will say that everyone was satisfied with the food, but several of us were put off with the check issue. read more

Good food, smaller sized place so be careful with a backup in mind if you go at a busy time. Limited parking with small turnaround area. Food was a great Italian portion (2x normal) and they had amazing service even at the bar. Menu has good options, nothing that blew me away however. Nice ambience. read more

Came up from Florida on vacation and went with my 2 cousins. We were greeted by Nonna and a few employees. We had the meatball appetizer and they serve you a delicious warm bread with an oil to dip it in. I had salmon and subbed pasta instead of potatoes. Other two meals were pasta with meat sauce and a special with clams and pasta. The house salad was huge you could split it. Food was delicious and the service was amazing also. No room for dessert. Fantastic Italian food. Having grown up with authentic Italian cuisine, I am skeptical of many Italian restaurants that serve pretty mediocre pasta. Nonna Ts is a dream come true. Every dish I've had has been spectacular. She has three different sauces, all of which are great. Well spiced, but not overdone. Her pizza is great and so are the entrees like the veal piccata. Great food and great prices. I had Pesto Gnocchi, a side of Mushroom Risotto and 3 small Cannolis for just $30. While the food was great, the layout of the restaurant was just plain weird. Servers have to go up and down steps to and from the kitchen. And then there is more seating upstairs, another 12 steps for servers. Hopefully they'll get popular enough to move to a better location. One other thing, I drove by 3 times. It's really hard to see the signage. read more

Dine in | $20-30 We have heard good things about Nonna T's and decided to stop in right at 4 when they opened when we were in the neighborhood. We were seated automatically and the waitress was very sweet to our toddler and prompt with making suggestions and telling us the specials. This first thing I commented on to my husband was how clean the restaurant is and how nice the atmosphere is. We also had our 3 month old who was very fussy (screaming and crying actually) and I didn't get to sit and eat my meal due to consoling her. Nonna came out and not only offered to hold my crying baby, but made my toddler special butter noodles without asking (which she loved). I went out to my car to feed my baby and Nonna brought me tiramisu, explaining she felt bad that I didn't get to enjoy my hot meal. When my husband and toddler came out to the car with my boxed food (seafood pasta- very good and hefty portion), I was surprised to see Nonna carrying the car seat and diaper bag! It was like having family take care of us at the restaurant and we will definitely be returning. There aren't a lot of restaurants like this. The food was excellent and authentic, prices are very reasonable. I can't express my love for this place even though I ironically didn't get to eat inside. I cannot recommend enough. My wife and I stopped in after hearing some Facebook reviews and looking them up on Yelp. No reservations on a Saturday night. We waited about 5 minutes for our table. The bread they bring is fresh out of the oven and is wonderful. We had the Calamari which is sauteed instead of fired, which is our preference. The sauce that it was in was amazing. Our salads and entree were also amazing. We can not wait to go back, we even plan to order some pizzas to go. Nonna T stopped out right before we left and had a very nice conversation. This month's pick did not disappoint! When you find an Italian restaurant that makes really great Italian food, i.e.as good as homemade, you'll make sure to return again. Nonna T's is nestled in a house in Mentor, and Nonna T does all the cooking herself. After dinner, she circulates to greet her customers. She is one sweet Nonna!!! I had chicken picatta with a side of orrachetti pasta with Alfredo sauce. My husband had eggplant parm. Being the foodie I am, I will remember these flavors for a while. Other cousins had veal parm and veal ravioli. Everything was superb. We also celebrated an 80th birthday, and Nonna delivered canoli with a lit candle....so sweet of her. We ordered gnocchi pasta with a pesto basil sauce, cooked to perfection we also ordered arugula salad with goat cheese sweetened with apples and a tasty sweet balsamic. Nonna T's is fire! Their food will not disappoint as it's simple, flavorful, and a comforting Italian meal. I had the chance to try their food at a catered lunch, and every dish was fantastic. The meatballs are amazeballs and the tortellini with the homemade cream sauce was the chef's kiss! We also had a few other pasta dishes and stuffed peppers that were just incredible. We are celebrating 37 years of marriage. We'd returned from great weekend with our children and grandchildren. As we left an appointment we had in the early afternoon, we decided to get a bite and drink. Looking in yelp we see Nonna Ts which was on the way and rated by 1 as exceptional. The parking is small, the restaurant small, but clean and cozy. The host was nice and accommodating since I asked for more room near a window. Our waitress was very warm and though there weren't any other customers seemed attentive, gave us suggestions on drinks, made changes to salad options I requested and took our order for pizza. Everything from Nonna Ts Summer Breeze, the Mediterranean salad and dressing (with my alterations add ins), the rolls and dipping oil (which I wanted to take home) to the pepperoni pizza with mushroom and onion - was fantastic! We were intending to only have some apps but the smell of the bread baking and Italian music playing at a nice volume made us sit and enjoy! The service was so appreciated and as we got the leftovers to take home, the waitress brought fresh cannolis. The owner came by our table to thank us, wishing us a Happy Anniversary! Big surprises from small yellow house like restaurant! Excellent signage from parking lot. Main entrance with antibacterial hand cleaner immediately to right of door handle. Very welcoming staff. Linen tablecloth and napkins, fresh braided bread with olive oil and herb dipping sauce. Excellent waitress, HOPE. Simple wedding soup but very tasty. Huge portion sizes. The side meatballs were excellent and the sauce was excellent. There was no herb or garlic that overwhelmed the sauce, but all blended perfectly. The apostles were huge and filled above the rim with food. Pizzas also looked delicious. Looking forward to trying other dishes on our next visit. read more

She was miserable and grumbled like a toddler all evening. Nonna's is a small establishment run by wonderful people.
