Mavis Reuben, a filling and delicious treat!!!
    James W.

Ann served us well when we visited for a board meeting on Monday. The Steak Salad with, as promised, lumpy blue cheese dressing was amazing, and the Reuben sandwiches were appreciated. Keep up the great work and my compliments to the designer of this cozy location and the management who please the customers!

Thai Chili Cauliflower "order them crispy" Good!

Our waitress Cassie was so nice. She recommended the Mavis Reuben and it was as good as promised. I upgraded the fries to Onion rings, not much flavor and greasy. Would not recommend them. Ordered Thai Chili cauliflower, I knew to order it crispy cause if you don't, it will not be crispy. This is the second time I had them. I did like them. This place is one of the better places in Solon.

Avoid this place We chose this place to watch Game 1 of the world series. I took the time to come to the place the day before to check if they would have the game and the sound from the broadcast on. When I walked up to the bartender and asked she responded "of course" like I was crazy for even asking. Fast forward to tonight, not only did they not have the game on, when we asked, we got an eye roll and they reluctantly, eventually put the game on without the sound. They refused to the game broadcast on stating they only do that for local teams. There was maybe 10-12 people there and no one was watching anything. To make the best of the situation, I put the game on my phone to listen while we watched. They responded by putting the bar music volume up louder. We ordered a drink and got the poutine. Server was not kind and the poutine was not poutine. Reheated, frozen shoestring fries and no cheese curds is not poutine. NOT WORTH $18. Avoid this place. Dishonest, bad service and overpriced bad food. There are so many other places. Do waste your money here.

Everything I have tried here has been great! Highly recommend. They also have a band that comes and plays and a great patio!

The food is fine and the service was ok. Nothing wrong with the place but nothing that made it stand out.

Drinks were quickly received, my bloody Mary was mostly bloody Mary mix. Seriously did not taste the Titos vodka at all. Hubby ordered shrimp and grits, I had to laugh at the so shallow bowl, it was not an entree size more of a appetizer portion. Grits were very salty!! At other family tables were fresh pizzas, chicken sandwiches, sweet potatoe fries and a variety of plates. Everyone was pleased with their meals, and mostly the company as we were departing and returning to our homes in a number of states. Ambiance, the restaurant is nearly decorated dim comfortable lighting. I can't emphasize enough our servers. Even with the 18 of us they did an amazing job. Id like to checke them out again when we are in the area.

Con's: one of the soups I got was the roasted red pepper and cheddar. Though it had good flavor, I didn't taste much cheddar and found the soup to be kind of oily. The second soup I got was the potatoes, spinach, and Swiss.. this one was probably my least favorite. I felt like it was lacking flavor. Pros: the third soup I got was the wild mushroom soup if you like mushrooms, I highly recommend it was very delicious. I would definitely get this one again. Also, the bread that they give you it was so fluffy and soft that even with my dental work, I was able to eat it overall because I know they rotate soups. I will definitely try this place again.

But last week I was driving by and popped in to get two classic soups: cream of mushroom and chicken paprikas. Oh my goodness, oh my gosh. I think I could have either of these soups every day for the rest of my life and be fully content. Now, the place isn't very attractive and there is an odd maybe they sprayed for pests smell when you walk in, both of which is something I normally can't overlook, however, the service is quick and impeccable. Not only do you get soup, but you get the most delicious fresh bread and oyster, crackers, and butter if you want. And because the soup is so rich and creamy a 12 ounce serving will last a couple days. I love this place and truly believe that if they had a backer they could and should sell their soups nationwide. It's the best I've ever tasted.

It's beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting without being over the top. We started with the Thai tea, and it's an absolute must. It's that perfect balance of strong black tea, sweetness, and creaminess--easily one of our favorite drinks and they nailed it here. For food, the beef pho was exactly what you want--rich, hearty, and super comforting. It came with a generous side of fresh condiments so you can customize each bite. We also tried the vermicelli with shrimp and pork, which was just as impressive. It was loaded with fresh veggies like cucumber, carrots, lettuce, and bean sprouts, plus crunchy peanuts and an incredibly flavorful fish sauce that tied everything together. Service was pretty fast even on a busy night, which we really appreciated. They also offer to-go cups for drinks--a small but thoughtful touch. Overall, everything felt fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

I think we tried everything but the spicy chicken and beef brisket were the favs of the group. Lots of sides and rice. Nobody left hungry that's for sure lol!! Service was great as well. Our main server was consistently checking on us and getting refills very fast. There were several other servers who stopped by as well. Because of that experience, we came in with high expectations and were really excited. At first, I liked this restaurant for its cleanliness and cute decor. The overall ambiance gave a very pleasant first impression. However, my experience today was quite disappointing. I was not satisfied with the service or the food quality. When the server brought us to our table, she seated us at the front near the entrance by the snack corner. We asked if we could move to a table in the back, but she told us those tables were for non-bbq guests. We were okay with that and stayed. However, shortly after, we saw other parties being seated in the back and eating KBBQ. That felt inconsistent and honestly disappointing. We ordered the yookhwe (beef tartare) bibimbap ($20.95), the Korean beef BBQ combo for two ($119.99), prime rib ($44.95), and makgeolli. Honestly, the portions were lot smaller than I expected for the price. Brisket only came with 6 thick pieces and galbi came with 9 to 12 pieces depending on how you cut them. The last straw was just seeing 10 small pieces of prime rib. As for the taste, it was decent but not the best. The banchan, doenjang jjigae, and steamed egg were good, but the beef was tough and hard to chew. The sauce on the marinated galbi actually hardened like candy after grilling and stuck to my teeth and the plate. We cooked most of our meat ourselves, which we didn't mind, but it seemed like our server was busy with other tables. Overall, I was disappointed and probably won't be back. If you've never had KBBQ, it might still be worth (?) a try considering for the authentic experience, but I don't think the service, portions or quality make it worth the price.
