Friendly, clean, fair prices and tasty QUICK meals. Deserts to die for. If you're down for a quick meal you won't be disappointed.

Matzo Ball Soup

I have been coming to Simon's my whole life. I can remember eating there with my grandparents and begging for an eclair at the end of every meal! So it seemed fitting that we visited Simons for lunch straight off the airplane from Atlanta today. The decor has changed a bit, but the vibe is the same, and most importantly so is the food! We had a feast! We had matzo ball soup, french onion soup, the Cuban sandwich (a special), and the New Yorker. Everything was delish. I loved the Cuban! Service was good. Staff were friendly.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

We happened upon this place when out searching one evening for a good dinner spot, and were very happy to find this family restaurant. It was a lot bigger than I expected, very clean and well maintained. Our service was phenomenal. We loved our waitress, and found ourselves talking with her before leaving for quite a bit. Food wise, everything was good, and I would have no issue recommending anyone to eat here. While some of the things we had were not "the absolute best" we've ever had, a lot of the stuff was great. For example, I got the Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner. The portion was great, and the corned beef was excellent. However, the rest of the dish was very plain. The cabbage, potatoes, and carrots seemed to be just boiled in water and put on the plate. The french onion soup was nothing special, but was good. My teens each had one of the fried chicken sandwiches, and they said those were some of the best they've ever had. My youngest opted for the spaghetti and meatball, and said it was very good. They had a pretty nice menu of things that other places where we're from don't have, so I look forward to coming here again. We all agreed it would be added on to the list of places we frequent when we're in town.

Potato salad

We had the sauerkraut balls for appetizer. I had the Cobb salad for my meal. My wife got chicken marsalla and I got a side of potato salad. The service was excellent. It's definitely a great Jewish deli. The deserts are the first thing you see when entering the restaurant. We have eaten there multiple times and all there food is so delicious.

Corned beef sandwich.

Great corn beef sandwich. It was delicious. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant has a family style feel. I love that. I didn't care too much for the a la cart menu. Everything was separate ... on the pricy side. I would go back and try something else for sure.

I always call in to place my order in advance and it's always ready when I get there. Their sandwiches never disappoint with size and taste. The staff is very friendly.

The patio was open, as was the bar room, but we sat on the indoor/ outdoor area, which turned out to be a great choice with the cooler weather. Our server, Chelsea, was wonderful. She helped me narrow down my cocktail choice and was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the cast iron Brie which was delicious. The berry chutney was a perfect addition. For my meal I got the chicken Dante, which Chelsea explained was their version of a chicken Marsala. It was delicious! Honestly I could have eaten a bowlful of just the mushrooms. It really hit the spot. The restrooms were clean. They've done remodeling recently (I think there was a fire?) and it is a really cool vibe.

The building is beautiful! However, we tried to order the pretzel and they were out so we got the fries, which are more Mexican- they were good but not quite what I was looking for. Our friend tried to order the Brie appetizer, which was also out. He ended up with the quesadilla- which again was average but not what we were looking for. They were out of the goulash so I went with the Reuben pizza (not particularly what you think of during Oktoberfest) and I hate to say it but it was not good. 1000 island and horseradish sauces are very overwhelming tastes and they put so much on top of the other ingredients, I couldn't taste anything else. We tried to order the pumpkin cheesecake and.... It was also out. I understand they were busy and I felt bad for our server who had to keep coming back and telling us they were out of something almost every time we ordered something. Finally, it was pretty loud, which maybe it isn't always that way but I had a hard time hearing even our server. We are glad we went to check it out but unfortunately, I think it's a one and done for us.

To start, we got the spinach dip, which was tasty. Our daughter got the kid's chicken tender meal and ate every single bite of her chicken which is really rare for her! Unfortunately, they server let me know that the lasagna special was only for lunch so I made a very strange order of French dip minus the beef on the sandwich and my husband got the shrimp. Now why this review is 5 stars: about 3 minutes after we ordered, someone (the manager?) came and asked if there's anything else they can add to my sandwich to make it more hearty since I'd said no beef. He then came back and let me know they do still have the veg lasagna if I was interested! I really felt like both our server and the manager cared that we got a good meal and I really appreciated it. The food was good, the service was amazing, and our kiddo was happy...yo can't ask for more than that!

Great beverage options including 2 ciders on draft and tons of food options. I had the $5 pizza special (THU) and my daughter had the quesadilla (her test for any place). - both were on point. LOL Been here many times, have never walked out saying "Wow,…read morethat was good." I tolerate it when others suggest we meet there. Last night for the Draft, they had a nice crowd at the tables, but hardly anyone at the bar. Hopped up on a tall bar chair and nearly fell off as a wooden support piece was dangling from the bottom. Switched chairs and, while I didn't fall off, I could rock back and forth on it..weak wood again. Then the LOL kicks in. Two people behind the bar. For the next two hours, we were not spoken to. Every single thing we ordered, we had to get their attention. The male was particularly hilarious as he never even made eye contact with us as we were begging for service. The food? Less than meh. Very Gordon Food Service in taste and presentation. The bill for four domestic beers, one sandwich and one small pizza (a Thursday special low price) was 54 bucks before tip! It's a mystery to me why there are so many cars in the parking lot every time I come. I know the atmosphere is good for kids (loud and big inside). But the Winking Lizard does everything this place does for less cost and 100 percent more quality. LOL!

Otherwise you got to do it from the iPad at the door. We were 8th in line. But it went fast. Reminder it is a small place and It gets slammed. Even the bar seats are to be seated. Sat and got a cider. Ordered the bacon bourbon wings, wedge salad to split, and onion rings. Ya it was too much. But all good. Onion rings were hot and really good batter. Salty which was good. The wings are big and very crunchy. Sauce was good. Wedge salad is large to share and Kathy and I split it. Lots of stuff in it and the dressing is good. I love this place. My only issue is the cost. This place is not cheap. And I get it. Costs are on the rise every week and it's good food. I just wish it was a bit less so we could go more. Quality good food = higher prices. I get it. I don't have to like it. So you still get my business just not often. Dive bar that's good food, good beer selection, small dining area, loyal following, and a bit higher prices. Worth a try.
