Came in here shortly after open on a Sunday afternoon. I had plenty of seating options both inside and out back. The bartender was also my server and she was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the special that day, $8.99 sliders and fries. The food was out within 10 mins and was hot and flavorful. The crowd started coming in as I was leaving. After a recent late-morning hike in the nearby Brecksville Reservation, my wife and I had always wanted to give this place a try and the timing was good for that option. Was not super-busy, so we found a table in the back corner. Server was really friendly and she took our drink and meal orders. My wife loves a black and blue style burger, so that's what she got and I am a wing fanatic, so that's what I chose. Food came out pretty promptly. The black and blue burger seemed like a frozen patty, and was just okay. Although the accompanying fries looked great and were well seasoned, they turned out to be undercooked which was a bit disappointing. My hot garlic wings were perfectly hot and crispy served with a thick blue cheese dressing and we both really enjoyed this dish. On the wings alone, I'd return, but maybe try another burger or some other food item? We shall see. read more

What can I say? I've been here 3×1st time. I've left a review. Come here about once a year. Only remind myself why I only come here about once a year. The service was stellar can't say anything wrong about that. None of the locals should be driving home, they're all bombed and then walk out to the parking lot and get their cars and drive off. I guess that's any bar. I had a burger. I asked we cook, medium rare and it came out well done. It just didn't taste good at all my wife had some type of sandwich she didn't care for either. This is what gets me two dollars per chicken wing! OK I understand when wings were expensive but if you're distributors charging you too much then find another one. The food is solid but the ambiance is definitely old biker bar. Not that I'm against that but the lingering smell of cigarette butts did nothing for the atmosphere nor palate. Went in to have dinner. There were maybe 10 people in the place. Sat at a table near the bar. Waitress walked by us no less than 10 times, with no greeting and never offered a menu or asked if we wanted drinks. Nothing. Asked the table next to us if they wanted anything else. Then walked by us again and stood behind the bar. THEN went down the line and asked the 6-8 people at the bar if they wanted anything else. They all declined. Final straw before we left was both her and the bartender standing behind the bar just staring at us and making no attempt to offer service. The wife and I, on a fall afternoon motorcycle ride around the Emerald Necklace, stopped by for lunch today. Both had burgers that were really good and flavorful, and the hot, fresh cut French fries were a treat. Beer was cold; service from Mary Ann was quick and thorough. We stopped this past Saturday for burgers and the fresh cut fries and found out they are no longer serving fresh cut fries they now have the average frozen fries not so good didn't eat them. The only reason this place gets two stars and not one is because the bartenders were very nice. The food saddened me. The prices for the quality and quantity were extremely high. This was my first time here and ordered the $16.50 burger special. My expectations for a burger of that price is not a frozen patty reminiscent of McDonald frozen flat patties. I expect a nice patty that isn't 1/4 thickness of the rye bread it's served on. While my husband enjoyed the lunch meat corned beef on the sandwich, mine went to my dogs as a treat. For the price, I expect something more substantial like a whiteys burger. I must note, this was not a smash burger. This was maybe a $10 burger, but even then that patty would make me said because I could go up the road to burger fresh for a fresh burger. When I received what I later found out was a full order of onion rings and not the side order, I found out those were $1 a piece. They were lacking in flavor and one of them was the outer ring of the onion so it was that type of ring you can't really bite through and just comes sliding out of the bland breading. A bar should not be charging these prices unless they have something special to offer. read more

We stopped to eat on the patio last night. Place was booming. Waitress was busy but did a great job. We had a few beers and never had to wait for refills even with how busy it was. The best part was the BLT. OMG to die for it's a definite order again Chicken tenders were good as well. Fries were hot and crispy, but what was fantastic was spray vinegar for the fries. OK one review mentions this bar is cash only he mentions a band and sewer smell and I'm thinking maybe he's getting the wrong restaurant. I have used my credit card there several times and I have yet to see a band and never once smelled anything close to a sewer smell. That being said it is a dive bar but that's what's so great about it because I can go in sweats and not give a damn. Everybody there is so extremely nice and friendly. I absolutely loved this dive bar. We have been driving by this place for years, every time we come to visit the in-laws. They always said it was a dangerous biker bar and the worst spot in town. Drove by yesterday and noticed Corvettes and a Ferrari in the parking lot, pretty upscale for a biker bar. Also, there seems to have been some recent renovations with a front porch and large back deck additions. I think the place is under new ownership. We stopped in around 10 and the place was pretty crowded. I think it was the friendliest place I've visited in the Cleveland area, with a hello from just about everyone we saw. Drink prices are amazing and pours are generous. Jack & Ginger plus a beer: $6.50. Food: they have it, but we didn't order. From the looks, it appeared to be basic greasy bar eats, burgers and fries and such. Good enough for late night drunken chow, but not a sober dinner selection. In summary: great atmosphere, people, drinks, history and jukebox. If this place were in my neighborhood, I'd be there once a week. Not ideal for a first date dinner though. read more

Me and My husband ordered the House Burger with some extras added (grilled mushrooms, swiss, and onions) The server Mary Beth was rude and not very welcoming. I think there must be two restaurants that have similar names or something because some of the pictures look like the place I was at and some of them don't. The menu pictures that are on here are not the same menus that I had yesterday. That being said, it is a great little joint. Definitely a cowboy/biker looking place - very small dining room, the waitress was so sweet, the cook had to leave for 20 minutes for some reason and she let us know but we were just sitting talking so it didn't bother us. I had the bacon cheeseburger with the hand cut fries and it was awesome. My sister had the pulled pork sandwich which was very large and she loved it. The salads are a little on the skimpy side but they were super cheap. Cook came out to make sure we liked our food. Hidden Gem! First off, I almost don't want to leave a review for fear this place will get too crowded. I love this little bar and the great people who work here/own it. It's like an old-time beer joint with a vintage wood bar and jukebox playing. But to top it all off....the food is outstanding!!! Except one of the bartender, who acts annoyed with you till she gets a couple in her. They once in a while have bands, and some fun and games. Knife throwing for example. They have a great enclosed patio area. Also cash only. Horrible beer selection (no draft, and you better like bud light, miller lite, and the other similar beers). Fun place, but just like about any other dive. And yes they have the same sewer smell all good dives have. You know that sewer smell. We came in one day on a dice run stop. When we walked in the door, people greeted us like we had been long time customers and friends. We had a couple of beers and watched the food come out. The burger was so perfect looking, it almost looked fake. We made it a point to return for a burger. On return, we received the same treatment when we entered. We ordered the burger and it was amazing. One of the best we have had in our travels. We found out the buy their meat straight from a butcher, not a grocery store. We just stopped in this bar for a burger based on the reviews on here and from the employees of Clippity Clop across the street. It it definitely a "dive" bar so don't expect anything fancy. But the food was amazing! Burger was delicious, fries were yummy and service was friendly and attentive. And the ladies room was super clean - that's a huge plus in my book. We'll be coming back.
