What can I say? I've been here 3×1st time. I've left a review. Come here about once a year. Only remind myself why I only come here about once a year. The service was stellar can't say anything wrong about that. None of the locals should be driving home, they're all bombed and then walk out to the parking lot and get their cars and drive off. I guess that's any bar. I had a burger. I asked we cook, medium rare and it came out well done. It just didn't taste good at all my wife had some type of sandwich she didn't care for either. This is what gets me two dollars per chicken wing! OK I understand when wings were expensive but if you're distributors charging you too much then find another one. Two dollars per wing is absolutely outrageous! Maybe this review will remind me not to come back.

The food is solid but the ambiance is definitely old biker bar. Not that I'm against that but the lingering smell of cigarette butts did nothing for the atmosphere nor palate. Our pulled pork sandwich was tasty and topped with the crunch of coke slaw. Dad's fish appeared freshly dipped and fried and mom enjoyed her patty melt. Service was friendly.

    Walleye dinner

Their chili and hotdogs are amazing. The Friday walleye special was very very good and the homemade tartar sauce is top notch. The bartenders are always very friendly.

Great service in a small environment. Most of the customers seem to be locals. Food was hot and fresh.

I met a friend for breakfast this morning, and everything from start to finish was spot on. I ordered the Sweet Jalapeño Sandwich: an English muffin piled with jam, bacon, an egg cooked over medium, and cheddar, served with home fries. It was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and just a little kick. My friend stuck with her usual: the Banana & Bourbon Caramel Bread Pudding French Toast, topped with fresh bananas and their homemade bourbon caramel sauce, plus a side of pork belly. It looked incredible and, according to her, tasted just as good as it always does. We arrived just a few minutes after they opened at 8:00 and were seated right away. The service was friendly, attentive, and very prompt without feeling rushed. Scratch has such a great casual, local diner feel, but with a menu that's anything but ordinary. The portions are generous, the flavors are unique, and the quality is consistently excellent. Definitely a go-to spot for breakfast or brunch...you really can't go wrong here.

White walls, glass windows in front, a few things hung on the walls. Not fancy, but pleasant. Very clean. The food is phenomenal. I've been dreaming about their biscuits and gravy since my last visit. Still perfect. The home fry-style potatoes are what a lot of places try to serve but fail at miserably. They are crispy AND fluffy! Yum! My scrambled eggs were not at all greasy or oily. My iced tea was delicious and refreshing. My lovely wife had the chorizo hash, which I tried. Oh, my. So good. And the chipotle crema on top was just perfect. They have excellent diner coffee here as well. My service experience was immaculate the first time and just OK today. He was fine initially, but I feel like he kind of forgot about us after he checked on our food. We were stuck way in the back. Maybe he was on a break, which is fine. I spent time as a waiter in two different restaurants, so I'm sympathetic, but I did not get a drink refill, and I wanted one pretty badly. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots, and it feels like a hidden gem.

They are moving to their other location in Bedford as an expanded location. That out of the way. I still live this place. Good prices. Large portions. Fast courteous service. All the things you want in a diner. Strictly Bfast and lunch. But they do have dinner entrees you can order stuffed cabbage and fish dinner as well. Specials too. And bfast all day which I highly recommend. Pancakes are soooo good. Today I got the buffalo chicken wrap with grilled chicken, with fries and cup of soup. The soup, chicken noodle was hot at the table. That's how soup is suppose to come to you hot! The buffalo chicken wrap was grilled and full of ingredients. Large portions and great lunch. Lots of people for a Thursday afternoon. People ordering all types of Bfast and lunch foods. Typical diner look with booths and tables. Good place! Check it out till june1 then go down the road to Bedford and see them there too.

We ordered French toast and two of the turbo charged with pancakes and hash browns. The standout part of the food was the raspberry syrup which you can pour on top of French toast or pancakes! But really it was all very good food. The maple syrup came out in a warm glass bottle. There's actually lots of opportunity to customize your dish too. I was asked if I wanted cheese on my eggs. What kind of cheese. Bacon crispy or regular. Pancakes can come with fruit or other toppings. The pancakes were deliciously fluffy. The meals were very filling! Many friends told me that I would not be disappointed and every single one of them was correct. There is a nice collection of bar seating, hot tops, and booths, so somewhere to sit for everyone. Everything that came out around us looked like I wanted to take it away and eat even more.
