Grew up a street away from this location. It certainly wasn't what it is now! Very small place with only several tables. The bar seats around 10. I would call for a reservation if you want a table. Very quiet and nice decor. Ordered to go this time. Had a half order of mozzarella triangles. Typical bar stuff there. My son ordered a Cubano sandwich. It was very tasty but honestly seemed a little small for the price. That was made up for by a side of Mac and cheese. While an up charge to get there, that was some quality Mac and cheese. Sauce has to be house made. I had a half order of chicken parm. A nice large piece of chicken with just enough pasta to go with it. A solid sauce as well. Looking forward to trying it again. I debated reviewing this restaurant because don't want anything to change about a gem like this. I've been here on multiple occasions and I only want to try new things each time- everything is made to perfection. The house salad and bruschetta started my meal- both so simple and almost enough to have me forgo dinner. The Jambalaya pasta was amazingly flavorful. The heat was present in the sauce but only enhanced the flavors. I haven't had a dish here I regretted. The servers are always nice. there are games for the family which you can hop up and play. The inside of this restaurant is painted with wine bottles on walls super cute decor inside. I was unable to take a photo as the restaurant was full and I didn't want it to be awkward for the others dining. We ordered appetizers, the provolone wedges and the meatballs, which were both very good. The meatballs were huge. I took a photo of the two portion sizes. The one is the fettuccine Alfredo is a small and then the seafood Alfredo was a large helping. The food is very rich. We were supposed to get a bread and butter with the pasta, but that never came out and we forgot to ask for it. I got the honey bourbon chicken with brussels sprouts it was pretty good but the sweetness on the honey bourbon sauce was a little too much for me, but the brussels sprouts were pretty good. My friend ordered the lemon pesto chicken which came with broccoli she ordered just the half order the whole order included a 2nd cutlet. The portion sizes are large. They do not have a fountain soda machine so they charge per can on the drinks unless you get ice tea. The staff were friendly super helpful. There is a really delightful surprise tucked away in the back of a convenience store lot that you have to visit to believe in my five-star rating. A friend of ours recommended this place and we thought it sounded nuts until we went there. Total shocker that we would find such good food in a place that didn't feel the slightest bit pretentious. Don't let the exterior fool your palate--through its cheery green door is a cozy place that serves up great food. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were all so enjoyable. I decided I wanted the Fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli, but when our server got to our table to take our order, I changed my mind. I sheepishly asked if it could be made with red sauce instead of a heavy, creamy sauce--our very sweet, upbeat server wasn't the least bit bothered. She was great, just so upbeat and energetic. Our food was served within 20 minutes of ordering. It was hot, flavorful, and plentiful. Their menu allows for ordering full or half portions and our full portions were large enough for us to have to stop midway and ask for take home boxes. The couple seated next to us had to do the same. Both of us had pasta dishes. My wife's baked rigatoni and my fettuccine were cooked perfectly, with body, and not mushy. She ordered a meatball to go with her dish and it was soft, creamy, and flavorful. We each had a roll served as an appetizer, but we saved them to enjoy with our main meal--recommended to enjoy with the wonderful sauce coating our dishes. The place serves up a very simple, no-frills dining experience that doesn't feel tacky. I was surprised to unroll my napkin and find both a salad fork and a dinner fork inside as part of the service--a simple sophistication I see less and less of nowadays. We ordered a Diet Coke and an iced tea that came in a can and a 16.9 ounce plastic bottle (both with a glass of ice) , BUT...the price was less than I've paid in a vending machine for one. The space is tiny, but cozy and not cramped. There is a bar, but it's not noisy or obnoxious. There is a comfort level here that makes a meal even more enjoyable. Decent amount of people enjoying dinner when we went. Bartender/server was nice. Took our order of a meatball sub and chicken parm sandwich. The meatball sub I am told was very good. Meatballs very moist and tender. Good sandwich. The chicken parm was a bit salty for me. Not sure if it was the sauce or the coating. But just a bit too salty. Portion was ok on both. I've been here once and the food was average. I came back again looking for a table and the bartender couldn't have been more rude. My party walked in and I said "table for 4". The bartender gave an emphatic "NO!" Before I could even finish. I looked at him dumbfounded at the response and he just stared back at me. Finally he spoke again and said, "if you don't have a reservation, we can't seat you". I understand needing a reservation, even showing up at 5:00 on a Friday, but his attitude was incredibly rude. Little spot tucked away I would never know this was a restaurant! Food was great and service was great!

TL;DR - This place is delicious. Order now. Oh my. What a surprise and gem of a restaurant. I drive by this place every single day on my way to work and have seen it slowly turn into what it is today. When the carryout sign first popped up, I checked out the menu and was a bit wary. The menu at first seemed pretty basic and nothing jumped out at me, so I just continued to pass this place. I jumped back on the menu to see they posted photos of their dishes. BRILLIANT move. I started scrolling through the menu and noticed a giant pool of drool at my feet. I couldn't decide what to order. I finally clicked a few items and sent through the order. A previous review said I would be expecting one hour. FALSE. They figured something out cause my order was ready in less than 18 minutes. 18!!! I walked in the door and my order was already bagged up and waiting for me on the counter. I got back in my car and all I could smell was the Italian herbs on the breaded chicken on my entire drive home. Now. Onto the food: I've been trying to satisfy my Mac and cheese craving for months now, maybe over a year. I keep trying different places and just constantly disappointed. Not anymore. Even after letting it sit for longer than I should've, I opened the Mac and cheese to a billow of steam. This place needs to come with a disclaimer: CAUTION! EXTREMELY HOT! Almost burned the roof of my mouth on the first bite! 1000% worth it though. This Mac and cheese is CREAMY and SMOOTH. This is NOT your average undercooked roux, clumpy cheese Mac and cheese. Also, another thing to keep in mind is that the portions are MASSIVE. I almost dropped a plate because I underestimated the sheer weight of this thing. The 2nd dish I got was the Rigatoni Vodka, also with breaded chicken. I was sold by the photo on the website. It tastes just as good, if not better, than it looks. The Rigatoni was cooked perfectly with just a bit of bite. Sauce thickness was perfect to coat and stick to each noodle inside and out. Absolutely delicious. If I had to say ONE thing about the dishes, it would be the chicken. Flavor and breading on it is great. It was just ever so slightly overcooked. With it being so thing, it definitely cooks super fast, but the breading color was also just a tad dark. Again, just a tad. It did NOT stop me from going to town on the food. This place is definitely on my list of places I would like to come back to and try all of their other dishes. Next time I'll delve into the red sauce, entree, and sandwich options. read more

Support Local. This neighborhood restaurant recently opened and we like to support our small local restaurants. For our first visit we tried the Lobster Bisque, Lemon Pesto Chicken and Rigatoni Meatballs. Our food was good and seemed to be prepared fresh made to order. We ordered online for pickup and the online estimate was an hour wait. I'm fine with the wait as this is a small and new restaurant. In the future I hope the wait is shorter. Our food was ready exactly at the estimated time and was not sitting but they were bagging the order as I walked in. The only con on this visit is that they left out our complimentary bread which was a selection made when placing the online order. This is frustrating and I wish restaurants would literally check off items as they add them to the bag to ensure correct orders. For the rigatoni meatballs The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce rich and flavorful and very nice sized meatballs. The lobster bisque was rich and cheesy as expected since the menu says it includes 5 cheeses. I like my bisque to have a bit more of the sherry flavor but this was overall good with nice full pieces of lobster. We will be returning to try more menu items and follow up with more detailed reviews. read more

Best kept secret in town. We stopped in for dinner before the show at MGM last night. The food was incredible, made to-order by the owner, chef Dan and the service was top-notch. Tiffany (also the owner and Dan's wife) was a rockstar. We both went for the pastas. I had the Pesto Pipettes with chicken. The sauce was so smooth and creamy and so flavorful. The portions are so generous, I had plenty left over for lunch today. Husband had the carbonara and cleaned his plate. Next time, we're going to try the smashburgers! We were traveling from New York to Kentucky, and stopped in Macedonia to break up the drive. We searched through YELP reviews for food locally, and decided to give "Danspot" a try. We were not disappointed! We must admit, however, that the location had us wondering about our decision when we arrived BUT the moment we opened the door, we knew we had found something unique. The restaurant was nicely decorated, and full of people enjoying their food. After a very brief wait, we were seated by a pleasant but somewhat harried bartender; he appeared to be bartender/busboy/waiter that evening. My wife ordered a half portion of "Goodles" pasta, and I ordered the Philly Steak sandwich. Both entrées were well prepared and delicious; my wife ordered a half-portion which was more than enough for her. We also ordered a garden salad, which came with tasty house made dressings (the pesto peppercorn dressing was particularly good). We highly recommend this little dining gem! read more
