The sandwich was amazing. The service was great. I love the fact that they all greet you with a smile on their face.

I've been to this location several times and have given it good reviews in the past. If today was my first visit to this location, I would never ever come back. I took my father there on Sunday April 19th at 5pm. Before I get started with the negative, I would like the manager of this location to know that they are very lucky to have Maddy as an employee. Now for the bad: when we walked in, at least four tables were filthy. Three tables had their chairs up like they were getting ready to close and there were three dirty tables in the back. We sat at the only clean table. The employee named Katy should no longer be working there. I don't know how anybody gets paid to be that rude to people. She didn't smile she didn't say hello when I told her I didn't come there often she wasn't helpful. I only ordered two sandwiches and drinks. It was a low maintenance order and she literally made me feel bad for making her take the time to wait on me. It was a horrible customer experience. While I was there, some guy came in who had gone home and come back because he was given the wrong sandwich. I didn't hear her apologize once. I took a picture and it's posted on this website of the overflowing trash area. The picture that I posted doesn't include our trash. I had to put our trash on top of the pile of trash. The place was a mess. I will say there is potential in the employee name Maddy she was super excited about the company and how they keep things fresh. She was excited to talk about the company and seemed proud. To the management, this place needs one heck of a makeover in every sense of the word read more

Kind of an up scale Subway. Little better food and selection. Lots of room inside and outside. They have milkshakes and floats too! I got the Wreck , turkey, ham, roast beef, cheese toasted. Solid sandwich shop! I had a soccer tournament down the road at CAPS Fieldhouse and wanted to get a quick lunch to go. I downloaded their app, placed an order for a scheduled time, and it was ready when I got there. I went with the prime rib steak and cheese. Everything was cooked as it should have been. I thought the bread tasted fresher than a typical Subway sandwich. Chips were good. My only complaint was they gave me a bottle of Diet Coke instead of regular and I didn't notice until on the road. Yuk.. but I supposed it was better for me healthwise. Lol. This was my first visit to any Potbelly and I was impressed. I'll eat here again when I'm in the area. Definitely will not go back. I ordered my gramma a BLT with Bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and mayonnaise. There were no onions which are honestly the only reason my gramma eats any sandwich ;) She complained it was so spicy that her lips were tingling. The bacon edges were loaded with pepper but that wouldn't make her lips tingle. So I took the sandwich apart and there two jalapeño peppers on the sandwich. I'm guessing that was a mistake (maybe they fell into the lettuce or onions?) but NOT acceptable. The bacon wasn't at all crispy - it was more like a peppered ham sandwich. I wouldn't have bothered leaving a review but come on. Of all the things - you can't be more careful with Jalapeños?! read more

I witnessed the interaction the other day with the customer who placed an online order for pick up at 1:30 yelling at the employees they kept explaining to her that her order was behind five other orders. When I looked at the clock at the time she was there it was 108. They handed her order about 120. I was sitting down eating mine. My food was delicious and the employees were great! read more

I thought about this before doing a review. First I want to say the food was very good what I had ordered. Additionally, the two associates were wonderful and pleasant. There must have been a slight problem with the communication with the larger associate making my wife's sandwich and she threw it up against the wall very hard and it fell into the garbage. We were not sure why and what had happened and what made her so upset. It's not a good look though. To top it all off my wife refused to eat the new one made even though we paid for it. Great Sandwich. Poor Service! While here visiting from Kentucky for work I decided to order from this establishment as I've never eaten at a potbelly before. When I arrived to pick up my online order I was first told by the cashier Tquilla that my order should be on the pick up shelf by the door. I checked and realized it was not, but no biggie. She asked Chelsea one of the young ladies preparing orders of mine would be coming up next once I gave her my name she replied yes she's working on it. While I waited I decided to make an additional purchase, a cookie. After about 10 or so more mins and me watching several other people walk in after me, go and place orders and receive them and walk out the door I became concerned. So I approached the cashier again and asked how much longer for my order to be ready she replied she didn't know what was going on she then asked Chelsea again where my order was. Chelsea asked me my name again as if I hadn't been waiting there and she hadn't already asked me. So in addition to giving her my name again I also pulled up my order confirmation email. She then asks me if I'm sure I'm at the correct location then confirmed the address in the confirmation email and I was at the right place. At this time about 4-5 mins more have passed and Chelsea is trying to figure out where my order is she takes off her gloves checks the tablet and the checks the online printer where is about 5-6 receipts which just so happen to be the online orders, mines included! Chelsea then proceeds to tell me my order just came through but I observed those online order receipts piled rolling out of the printer shortly after I arrived. I then asked how much longer it would be before my order was finished as it hadn't even been started yet and I was running out of time for my lunch break when Christiana the "manager" rudely yelled to me there's 5 more orders before mine not including the people who had walked in and placed their order. Again I asked how much longer because I was running out of time. Her reply was it'll be ready at 1:30 and at the time it was about 1:16. Due to my lunch break being over at 1:30 I asked if I could just have my soup and requested a refund for the sandwich since it wasn't ready. Christina first ignored me and when I asked again she yelled out with her back turned to me it's going to be 5-10 business days for a refund and that she can't refund me her manager has to do it. Basically insinuating I have no option but to just continue to WAIT! She was extremely rude, unprofessional, and hostile the entire encounter it makes me want to never spend another cent at any Potbelly establishment. Still best Italian sub I've had. There's something about PotBelly's that the tastebuds of mine surely loves. I've gone to plenty of sub places in my lifetime and can say for sure the taste outweighs the competition (chains and non-chains alike). The Oreo milkshake was in the tall paper cup this time, which was actually better than the one I had in the clear plastic cup. I remember when McDonalds used to do that with their chocolate shakes and it was the best! Also, may I remind Mr. Vincent that before "snickering" at anyone, we all have different tastes; even a national chain can be better than a non-chain. Potbelly has demonstrated that time and time again. It's the beauty of our humanness that we all like different things. Haven't you ever heard the phrase: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"? Same thing with tastes. I don't take my elite status too seriously; it's our opinion. A non-elite's opinion is just as important to the business and to the consumer to make their own decisions. Potbelly was recommended several times, so I had to check it out while in town. Atmosphere was nice and casual. I ordered the "wreck". Malia took my order and made the sandwich. The sandwich was great! The guy who was running the register was on the phone on his AirPods while I was checking out. So that wasn't cool. I ordered a water and received a very small water cup. Immediately after I paid, the cashier went to pour himself a fountain drink. Then later, he and Malia were yelling rock paper scissors across the kitchen for who had to take the trash out. I ordered a 6" The Wreck sandwich on multigrain bread. You got to pick what you wanted on top. I got mayo, lettuce, and tomato. This sandwich was really good. The size was even filling. A tad more meat might have been nice but I like my sandwiches fat. There wasn't a line when I went so I was able to get in and get out. That was great since my time was limited. I am currently pregnant and crave their pickles. I've been getting them for about 3-4 weeks now at least once a week and never had an issue (with sandwich and chips). One day my chips weren't in the order and today I only had the sandwich, no pickle or chips. I received a refund through DoorDash while I was trying to reach the store to explain the situation they don't even pick up the phone, they just tell you they don't have time for you and hang up! So I placed another order for the chips and pickle (just can't help that pregnancy craving) well when it was delivered the girl told me they marked my account as fraudulent because they've had the same order twice... eeemmm no you didn't and if you'd check your work or pick up the dang phone you'd know I'm real!!! This is a great sandwich joint that offers several types of sandwiches on good bread with great ingredients. I had the turkey club and the pieces of turkey were quite large in the sandwich. The bread was nicely toasted, bacon was on point, and the overall taste of the sandwich had great flavor and texture. I would go to this place again next time I am in the area. The staff is very friendly, but with all the noise behind them you may have to ask them to speak up. They have a nice wood country feel in the interior. read more

As promised, bountiful sandwiches served relatively quickly by a friendly and responsive staff. I had no waiting on a Saturday evening, so perhaps the long lines are during the weekday lunch rush. The seating's café style and might have been cramped had there been anyone else in the restaurant, but there wasn't, so I had a good time spreading out. I've been to a competing chain of stores that has pot belly stoves as bling (Erik's in California) and it's a good contrast between the California sandwich and soup vibe and the heartier comfort versions of the midwest/northeast. I prefer the former but Potbelly's plenty good for what it purports to be. My only regret: I should have had another pickle. read more
