Restaurant was lively and clean. I ordered for pick up and was told 10-15 minutes. I waited at least another 15 minutes inside the shop. Just a heads up that they run behind. Salad portion was huge! But, I was disappointed that it wasn't chopped?? When I used to frequent their NYC locations, the salad was put in a big mixing bowl and chopped up with a mezzaluna knife. Is that not a thing anymore? My salad had full falafels, chunks of carrots, croutons, etc. The reason I loved Chopt was for the unique chopped up salads! This was just a big salad I could have made at home. Ok, but for the price would probably skip next time.

Egg roll salad bowl.

Kitchen Social has a cute and modern atmosphere. It is great for people of all ages. My friends and I have been here before. But, this time we came for Brunch for our friend's birthday. We all enjoyed our food. I had the shrimp and grits and was able to swap the bacon for sausage. A few of my friends paired and split two dishes. David made sure the food came out on seperate plates for each. Very nice. Definitely would come back for brunch!

I had called the restaurant prior to inquire about the menu and was recommend by David to order the cod. I came back 2 hours later and was warmly greeted by him and he still remembered my call from earlier! He assured me I would get a large portion after I mentioned my budget. Inside was busy but not crowded. Lots of servers up and about. Very modern interior, clean bathroom as well. Per recommendation, I went with the crab crusted cod and oh my goodness, was it delicious. The crab topping was perfect texture wise and and had a slightly sweet flavor you expect of fresh crab. The cod was so tender, fall apart in your mouth type and was perfectly seasoned with a sauce to go on top. Fish had a slight spicy kick and that elevated the flavor beyond your typical cod fish, I suspect it was Cajun seasoning. The vegetable base was expctional as well. Fresh rice along with zucchini and corn all drizzled with the same delicious tangy sauce as the fish. At the end of the meal I complimented him on his recommendation and he told me their secret is the fish is always fresh from the morning, never frozen. And the cherry on top is this whole plate of food was only $26. For such a tasty, fresh, and large portion, that price is a steal. For context BJ Brewhouse next door will charge 36 for a tiny 5 oz fillet and mushy rice. Overall this cod was the best cod I have ever tasted and ranks among the top 2 pieces of fish I've ever eaten. Having tasted fish from Hawaii, California, Florida this cod dish at the price point of $26 easily surpasses $50 fish dishes I've had at fine dining restaurant in Cleveland and abroad. Highly recommend and ask for David if you can! He'll take care of you well.

Our table had the baba and dawali appetizers, and then beef kafta, shawarma plate, and shish kebabs for dinner. I also had a cocktail - I think the blue paloma. My drink was good, not particularly special but not bad. Next time I would probably just go for a glass of wine. The food however was excellent. 10 out of 10. My kafta was exceptionally flavorful, and the vegetables still had plenty of bite to them. My mom and sister felt similarly about their meals. The appetizers were delicious as well, especially the dawali, and we appreciated the za'atar oil served with the fresh pitas. I am a visitor in Cleveland. I normally try not to go to chains when I'm traveling, but I'm so glad I broke my rule. I wanted to come back and we were only here for a couple days. Highly recommend!

First of all...the workers there are incredibly nice and helpful. The restaurant is very beautiful…read moreand cozy even though I'd only popped in to grab my take out order. And it smelled so good in there... BUT having said that... The food was SO disappointing. I ordered the Lamb Rolled Pita and the Hummus. (See attached photo) of the lamb I could NOT eat. I was so bummed. I was really looking forward to that. Also, I asked for cucumbers be subbed for the tomatoes. The tomatoes were gone which was great, but there were NO cucumbers. ALSO, the menu says that the rolled sandwiches come with fries. (see attached photo) Mine did not. Bummed. It came with this like lemon couscous that I didn't like at all and didn't eat. (see attached photo) So, basically, I only had mostly pita to eat from the sandwich and the hummus. (which was good). Honestly, if there wasn't so much of the lamb that wasn't edible, I wouldn't have posted a review at all despite the fries and the cucumbers being wrong/missed. Very disappointing because this meal supposed to be like a treat.

Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

Crispy batter was light, the sauce was lemony and delicious. Ordered an espresso martini that was also very good. For mains I got the Peruvian chicken. The burrito is huge, comes with sausage, bacon, potatoes sautéed onions and peppers and eggs. Everything was really well seasoned, especially the peppers and onions. She was hesitant to choose this place at first because she wanted more options than just burgers/sandwiches. Thankfully we found some Google images of the menu that had rice bowls. Friend ordered a salmon rice bowl and I ordered their famous donut burger. I thought the donut was a little too small and skinny for the price at $14. Also, this is a big kicker--no fries or sides! Within the burger, just a square of Kraft cheese, some bacon, smash burger type patty (2) but no onions, tomatoes or even cucumbers (or pickles). The value is just not it for this. Did it taste good? It did but I needed more of a crunch. Just 1 or 2 slices of raw onion would've been good. Oooooh or like crispy haystack onion straws would be perfect. Server said fries were an additional $5. Okay, no thanks! The place was really loud. It echoed slightly and just the clientele were extremely rowdy on a non-holiday Wednesday evening. It took a while to get seated, for server to even come over to take our order and to request our check. Not very impressed with the experience.
