Came here for mothers day brunch - Average American fare done right. Everything is made from scratch, It's not something you will go out of your way for, but the food is very good, service is efficient and ambiance is lively.

Came to Kitchen Social for lunch. Sat at the bar. Service was good. Reasonably priced martinis. Cauliflower appetizer was really good. Shrimp and grits appetizer I would personally not get again. The shrimp was very tough and the sauce was just okay. The grits were good. Would come back and try different items.

Went here for lunch and got the blackened chicken sandwich, cinnamon roll biscuit, and the Thai chicken bowl. The biscuit was incredible and I liked my sandwich. My friend liked her bowl as well. We sat at the center bar and the service was attentive and fast. It's a casual restaurant with plenty of seating. Note they don't have Coke products or espresso drinks so I'd recommend grabbing a latte after as they only have drip here.

Sat at the bar while visiting for a work trip. Friendly service (if a little slow). Ordered the lobster bisque (tasty, but odd presentation in a coffee cup) and the miso salmon, which was inventive and had a lot of bold, interesting flavor. Decent spot for a tasty, comforting meal; would give 3.5 stars.

Very busy on a Thursday evening. 30 minute wait. Servers were super nice, seating was comfortable and we felt very welcome. Appetizer: street corn nachos with chicken - Super good, not too salty. Lots of chicken. Entrees: burger, fish and chips - Burger was honestly not as big as I was expecting for the price. Got the side of salad, which was a generous amount. But the burger felt like it had more pickles than meat. And the bun was not very big either - Fish and chips were very good. not too much breading, and there was plenty of fish. Fries were cooked well. However, the coleslaw sortof smelled like hand sanitizer. Not sure why that was, but couldn't eat it. Overall, would come back.

I had such a great Friday late lunch at Kitchen Social. The location was really cute, surrounded by lots of nice shops, a movie theater etc. Parking was relatively easy. There is street parking and also a garage nearby. The restaurant itself was so large and had a really nice ambiance. Since the weather was nice they had opened the windows / garage doors that are made of glass so that there was lots is fresh air in the restaurant. After ordering, our food came out quickly. We liked our starter the most - Korean BBQ cauliflower. For entrees we got the blackened chicken sandwich and miso salmon. Overall would definitely recommend this place!

My coworker highly recommended this spot and honestly, it didn't disappoint. The place itself is beautiful, huge windows, very welcoming. The servers were all super nice and attentive. Food was fantastic, I don't think there was one complaint at the table. The hardest part was picking, but the wait staff was super helpful. Drinks were also super tasty. Great spot for dinner!

I'll be honest I wasn't necessarily impressed with this place but it's good for what it is. Very spacious and clean inside, especially the bathrooms. We were able to sit at the bar but I will say the person that was serving us was not very attentive and it took us getting her attention multiple times. She eventually switched with someone else who was much more attentive. I ordered the tempura shrimp bowl and it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. It was what I needed in the moment to stay fueled but would I come again and get the same thing? Probably not. Since this restaurant was a stop on our road trip, we didn't anticipate much. The area is super cute though with a lot of parking available! Kitchen social is also a great place to come and watch the games on TV or just enjoy a nice weekend brunch

Went here yesterday with a friend of mine and wanted to try something new. They sat us right away since we made a reservation but put us at a table all the way in the back that was secluded from the rest of the restaurant. It was awkward. My friend also mentioned she wanted to move but didn't ask. Our server came over to take our order but I didn't have a chance to look at the menu yet as I got there after my friend and he grabbed the menu I was looking at out of my hand and was trying to explain the specials but he was talking so fast I couldn't understand what was going on and I was surprised he just pulled it right out of my hand as I was looking at the menu. I did make my server aware that I had a nut allergy. I ordered the double stacked burger with fries which was good but it had a 'special sauce' and I did want to make sure there was no nuts in it or anything I was allergic to. He said he would ask and find out but never came back to check on us. Another lady (manager?) came and brought the food out and I never found out if the sauce had nuts in it or not. I like to be cautious with allergies when eating out and was nervous that he never let me know even when food was out nothing was mentioned. I also asked for no pickles and pickles were put on. When we did arrive and were looking at the menu, our server kept rushing us to order and would say you're fine since I'm not busy now. Um ok? The service was really awkward but the food was really good, I just didn't think communication was good. It did get to be dinner hour after we got there and then he was missing and we had to wait a long time to pay our bill. It was chaotic and overall the experience was just subpar. It's not a place I would run back to or go out of my way for.

Excellent dinner experience here. It was our first visit and we enjoyed a cocktail at the bar waiting for our table. Larger bar, many tables, and good space through the place. Everything was clean and service was great. Waitress offered recommendations and took time to talk about some of the options. Whipped feta appetizer was excellent. A must try. Also had the nachos which were great. Had the chicken katsu but with potatoes. Cooked perfect and the flavor was amazing. Everyone in our group enjoyed their dinner. Highly recommend trying this place. We will definitely be back!

We were greeted right away and we asked for a table for two. We were quoted 25 minutes, and told We would receive a text message. We actually received a text within 10 minutes. Our server was attentive. We weren't sure what to get and she provided recommendations. I chose the tempura shrimp bowl and it was so very good. We enjoyed the inviting atmosphere and nice breeze. They have the good ice also, which is a bonus. Our server even gave us to go cups of water since it was so hot. I would absolutely return.

We stopped by for a quick bite and got 3 apps ..... and all I can say is wow. The corn nachos. Do I even have to say more? I never would have thought to combine 2 fantastic menu items into one and it was SO delicious. The cornbread oh man. Buttery and moist and soft and just order this. Also the brisket and carrot hummus. We didn't know what to expect but it was gone before we could even blink. Service was also very quick and our server was so kind.

Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

Eight years worth of Fairmount moments later, this review is well overdue. AMBIANCE: The ambiance allows you to slow down and enjoy your company. The restaurant is dim lit, has fireplaces, and loungey atmosphere. It somehow feels warm and I heard a lot of people refer to it as a second home (people are always so friendly here!). There is ample space - three bars, main dining space, and huge outdoor oasis bar. Nestled in Cedar Fairmount neighborhood, you'll also be able to enjoy historic neighborhood. There are seating arrangements if you're craving company or want to enjoy your date. Seating options include couches by the fireplace, tables, and high tops. Fairmount is delightful during every season. During the summer you can enjoy the bar and patio. In the winter you can dine at the igloos. I prefer all seasons here. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu at Fairmount is impressive and has exciting seasonal/weekly additions. You'll never get bored. The cocktails here are refined, very boozy, and very well crafted. The food is seriously delicious, and consistent every single time. I've been impressed with every dish. The dishes and drinks frequently follow the seasons. During my latest visit I enjoyed Butter Pecan Warm Cider with bourbon ($12, so bold and boozy, tastes like fall). I also ordered Fig Trouble Little China ($15, a more rich version of Old Fashioned, so delicious). I also tasted Short Rib & Risotto for the very first time ($28, such a delicious dish, every bite was just amazing). My favorites? Ah, so hard! I'll go with the Fairmount Burger! It's angus beef burger with bacon-fig chutney. It's so delicious! I can't even be serious about meat at the other burger places, this is easily the best burger in the city. My seasonal favorite? Kevin McCallister seasonal drink that resembles coquito or eggnog. The drink is topped with rice paper that includes the design of Kevin from Home Alone. It's such a fun tradition! I look forward to this drink all year and always tell the world about it! SERVICE: The service is excellent. I haven't been anywhere where service is right on point every single time. Everyone is nice - the owner, hosts, and waitstaff. You truly feel seen and like the most important guest. I've visited previously while on dates and frequently dine here solo, always had the most pleasant service. EVENTS: Many people book events here for their non-profits or companies. As far as individual events, Fairmount hosts a fun NYE party every year! PARKING: Onsite parking lot is available at the back of the building. You can enter through the front doors on Cedar or right through the parking lot door. There are numerous reasons why I love the Fairmount. I consider it to be the best dining experience in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. I also love how the owner Jake is very engaged in the community and is incredibly friendly with the surrounding business owners. I'll choose this place again and again for calming ambiance, crafted cocktails, and delicious food. To many more years of Fairmount and at Fairmount!

It wasn't our first choice, but it ended up being a decent find--especially if you're in the mood for creative tacos. We arrived well after the lunch rush and there were only a handful of patrons in the restaurant, so it was fairly quiet. We ordered chips and salsa to start, but unfortunately they never made it to the table. When our food arrived and I asked about them, our waitress admitted she had forgotten to write it down. The food also seemed to take a bit longer than expected considering the restaurant wasn't busy. Because of that, the service was a little underwhelming. That said, the tacos themselves were the highlight of the visit. I ordered three of the smaller tacos, but they packed a lot of flavor. My picks were The Yoda, The Love Shack, and The Filthy Fajita--all creative and really well done. Small in size, but definitely big on flavor. Overall, the food was solid, but the service could use some improvement. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see this being a good happy hour spot to grab tacos and drinks with friends.
