    Chicken sandwich

There was a long wait at lunch time on a Saturday. The host stayed 30minutes and it ended up being close to an hour. Luckily bar seats turned quickly and we sat at the bar. The bartenders weee nice and attentive, refilling water. I got the chicken sandwich and fries. It was good, chicken was crispy. The bar area was big and bright!

We went to Kitchen Social while in Ohio to grab dinner and it was a great choice. Location is great, the restaurant is beautiful. Our server was super nice and all the dishes we got were great. Do not skip out on the biscuits they are delicious!!! What really blew me away about this place is that my sister's fish was taking longer than expected so the chef sent out a complimentary pizza which I thought was super nice and the pizza was great.

This fairly good restaurant in Pinecrest. Its menu has something for everyone as it offer quite a variety of food options: pizza, tacos, steak, chicken, pasta and various salads. The place was clean and service was good. Very nice when the windows are all open during the summer, so it kind of feels like you're eating outdoors but still inside. The mushroom pizza was good but very oily, like puddles of oil on the pizza. Tasted good with the onion jam. The Thai chicken bowl was good but not too exceptional.

Our server, David, did a wonderful job. He was very kind and funny. We had a big party and he did a good job taking care of all of us. He even took a picture of our group. Kitchen Social has a cute and modern atmosphere. It is great for people of all ages. My friends and I have been here before. But, this time we came for Brunch for our friend's birthday. We all enjoyed our food. I had the shrimp and grits and was able to swap the bacon for sausage. A few of my friends paired and split two dishes. David made sure the food came out on seperate plates for each. Very nice. Definitely would come back for brunch!

Came here for mothers day brunch - Average American fare done right. Everything is made from scratch, It's not something you will go out of your way for, but the food is very good, service is efficient and ambiance is lively.

Came to Kitchen Social for lunch. Sat at the bar. Service was good. Reasonably priced martinis. Cauliflower appetizer was really good. Shrimp and grits appetizer I would personally not get again. The shrimp was very tough and the sauce was just okay. The grits were good. Would come back and try different items.

Snowing in Cleveland and staying in Pinecrest, we didn't want to drive. Short walk over. No reservations but they did sit us almost immediately. Service was good. Our waitress was attentive. The whipped feta was very good. Our dinner bowls were pretty good as well. My old fashioned was excellent.

Great happy hour! Highly suggest to get at the bar before 6pm. Always enjoy meeting people here and getting a tasty bite to eat.

Went here for lunch and got the blackened chicken sandwich, cinnamon roll biscuit, and the Thai chicken bowl. The biscuit was incredible and I liked my sandwich. My friend liked her bowl as well. We sat at the center bar and the service was attentive and fast. It's a casual restaurant with plenty of seating. Note they don't have Coke products or espresso drinks so I'd recommend grabbing a latte after as they only have drip here.

Sat at the bar while visiting for a work trip. Friendly service (if a little slow). Ordered the lobster bisque (tasty, but odd presentation in a coffee cup) and the miso salmon, which was inventive and had a lot of bold, interesting flavor. Decent spot for a tasty, comforting meal; would give 3.5 stars.

Very busy on a Thursday evening. 30 minute wait. Servers were super nice, seating was comfortable and we felt very welcome. Appetizer: street corn nachos with chicken - Super good, not too salty. Lots of chicken. Entrees: burger, fish and chips - Burger was honestly not as big as I was expecting for the price. Got the side of salad, which was a generous amount. But the burger felt like it had more pickles than meat. And the bun was not very big either - Fish and chips were very good. not too much breading, and there was plenty of fish. Fries were cooked well. However, the coleslaw sortof smelled like hand sanitizer. Not sure why that was, but couldn't eat it. Overall, would come back.

I had such a great Friday late lunch at Kitchen Social. The location was really cute, surrounded by lots of nice shops, a movie theater etc. Parking was relatively easy. There is street parking and also a garage nearby. The restaurant itself was so large and had a really nice ambiance. Since the weather was nice they had opened the windows / garage doors that are made of glass so that there was lots is fresh air in the restaurant. After ordering, our food came out quickly. We liked our starter the most - Korean BBQ cauliflower. For entrees we got the blackened chicken sandwich and miso salmon. Overall would definitely recommend this place!

My coworker highly recommended this spot and honestly, it didn't disappoint. The place itself is beautiful, huge windows, very welcoming. The servers were all super nice and attentive. Food was fantastic, I don't think there was one complaint at the table. The hardest part was picking, but the wait staff was super helpful. Drinks were also super tasty. Great spot for dinner!

Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

I told him I would arrive within 40 mins and he said to just walk-in. The website says this is fine dining so for someone to answer the phone and discourage reservations was skeptical. When we arrived we were told since we didn't have reservations we had to sit outdoors. Now the forecast said rain in 10mins. So we told the lady at the desk that I spoke to the man that also at the door about reservations. She said no problem we waited about 10 minutes and we were seated. Our waitress Abby was amazing! I wanted a wellness drink and they were all out but she suggested other mocktail options. She then asked if we wanted tap water or sparkling bottle water. I was confused that they don't have filtered water. We got the tap and it smelled like sewer. We then asked for a bottle of sparkling water. And realized the glass cups smelled bad. If you want a wellness drink arrive early when they open around 11am. It was 1pm when I ordered my food. I ordered the Farmer's breakfast, it came with Two eggs any style, choice of crispy bacon or chicken sausage, grilled sourdough, potatoes. The potatoes were crumbs and left overs, a scoop of potatoes. For a $19 meal I couldn't believe what I was being served. The chicken sausage was amazing! The sourdough bread was grilled with no oil or butter. I asked for jelly thinking they would have compote. Instead they have mini jars of jelly. The main difference is that jam is a shelf-stable, fruit-puree preserve made with high amounts of sugar and added pectin. Compote is a chunkier, less sugary fruit sauce cooked quickly without pectin and meant to be eaten fresh. My husband had the Last Chicken Sandwich, which he said was good but the sandwich didn't come with a side just a $18 chicken sandwich that tasted wonderful.

Eight years worth of Fairmount moments later, this review is well overdue. AMBIANCE: The ambiance allows you to slow down and enjoy your company. The restaurant is dim lit, has fireplaces, and loungey atmosphere. It somehow feels warm and I heard a lot of people refer to it as a second home (people are always so friendly here!). There is ample space - three bars, main dining space, and huge outdoor oasis bar. Nestled in Cedar Fairmount neighborhood, you'll also be able to enjoy historic neighborhood. There are seating arrangements if you're craving company or want to enjoy your date. Seating options include couches by the fireplace, tables, and high tops. Fairmount is delightful during every season. During the summer you can enjoy the bar and patio. In the winter you can dine at the igloos. I prefer all seasons here. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu at Fairmount is impressive and has exciting seasonal/weekly additions. You'll never get bored. The cocktails here are refined, very boozy, and very well crafted. The food is seriously delicious, and consistent every single time. I've been impressed with every dish. The dishes and drinks frequently follow the seasons. During my latest visit I enjoyed Butter Pecan Warm Cider with bourbon ($12, so bold and boozy, tastes like fall). I also ordered Fig Trouble Little China ($15, a more rich version of Old Fashioned, so delicious). I also tasted Short Rib & Risotto for the very first time ($28, such a delicious dish, every bite was just amazing). My favorites? Ah, so hard! I'll go with the Fairmount Burger! It's angus beef burger with bacon-fig chutney. It's so delicious! I can't even be serious about meat at the other burger places, this is easily the best burger in the city. My seasonal favorite? Kevin McCallister seasonal drink that resembles coquito or eggnog. The drink is topped with rice paper that includes the design of Kevin from Home Alone. It's such a fun tradition! I look forward to this drink all year and always tell the world about it! SERVICE: The service is excellent. I haven't been anywhere where service is right on point every single time. Everyone is nice - the owner, hosts, and waitstaff. You truly feel seen and like the most important guest. I've visited previously while on dates and frequently dine here solo, always had the most pleasant service. EVENTS: Many people book events here for their non-profits or companies. As far as individual events, Fairmount hosts a fun NYE party every year! PARKING: Onsite parking lot is available at the back of the building. You can enter through the front doors on Cedar or right through the parking lot door. There are numerous reasons why I love the Fairmount. I consider it to be the best dining experience in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. I also love how the owner Jake is very engaged in the community and is incredibly friendly with the surrounding business owners. I'll choose this place again and again for calming ambiance, crafted cocktails, and delicious food. To many more years of Fairmount and at Fairmount!

It wasn't our first choice, but it ended up being a decent find--especially if you're in the mood for creative tacos. We arrived well after the lunch rush and there were only a handful of patrons in the restaurant, so it was fairly quiet. We ordered chips and salsa to start, but unfortunately they never made it to the table. When our food arrived and I asked about them, our waitress admitted she had forgotten to write it down. The food also seemed to take a bit longer than expected considering the restaurant wasn't busy. Because of that, the service was a little underwhelming. That said, the tacos themselves were the highlight of the visit. I ordered three of the smaller tacos, but they packed a lot of flavor. My picks were The Yoda, The Love Shack, and The Filthy Fajita--all creative and really well done. Small in size, but definitely big on flavor. Overall, the food was solid, but the service could use some improvement. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see this being a good happy hour spot to grab tacos and drinks with friends.
