We had brunch in this cute place in the old Aurelia location. Very well appointed and the menu, while straightforward, was very well prepared and delicious. There was a village event that drove a large number of people in one big wave to the restaurant, but they handled it calmly and with grace as they called in reinforcements to deal with the volume. Extremely pleasant and professional. Will be back!

The service was wonderful, although a little bit slow. A one page food menu, which I felt was a little limited for options, but had a lot of of your basics like salmon, a seafood dish, a vegan dish, a few beef dishes, chicken dish. There weren't a lot of things on the menu that I thought I really have to come back and try. The crab/cheese appetizer is good, but we were a party of two and it would be perfect for a party of four or five. Three or four bites of it would be perfect, not 8 to 10 bites. The shrimp bucatini was good with a generous shrimp portion and the. Tuna entree was very tasty although it had a little too much of a sweet sauce on the plate. Overall, I will return, but would like if they had a seasonal menu or at least changed up the menu or had special options from time to time. To me the biggest drawback was we were sitting just a few inches away from someone else and could hear their conversation and they could hear ours. Sometimes I would like a little more privacy and intimacy when I go out to dinner.

The food was all fantastic! Probably best chicken I have ever eaten. Service was fast and friendly meeting. All of our needs. The ambience was upscale, but not overly upscale. Really liked the wall art. The vibe was really nice.

The food, for me, was nothing to write home about. The beet salad wasn't my fav but it was ok. The chicken I would not recommend because it had literally no flavor and the whole thing was covered in arugula why My boyfriend loved the burger though! And I thought the wine was good This place wins in terms of ambiance, it's really gorgeous and feels exclusive. I just wish the food matched that vibe. I'd come back for their brunch for sure in the summer, I hear they might have bottomless mimosas??

We placed our drink order and waited...out came 2 glasses of wine, then the third and then the beer that was ordered. Also asked for lemon wedges for the water which came after the beer. Placed appetizers order of crab cakes and smash burger. Waited a bit and then placed order for two salads as part of our dinners. Salads came out before the appetizers. I must say the crab cakes were delicious (maybe not $26 delicious), the smash burger was ok, very greasy and fries were not very hot. My biggest disappointment was my entree, Parmesan Crusted Seabass which is one of my all time favorites that I order when I see it on the menu. The plate looked delicious but looks can be deceiving. The Seabass was more breaded than Parmesan crusted. Usually When I order this it is Seabass topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and baked, this was not that! Then the sauce that covered the spinach and potatoes and lobster pieces had red chili flakes added(which is not noted on the menu) which added "heat" to the dish that I was not expecting nor was I able to eat. For $55 I was very disappointed. No, I didn't mention this at the time as we were dining with family and I didn't want to disrupt the dinner by sending it back. Such a simple thing to note on the menu description! The short rib was the best entree of the table, nice portion and delicious sauce. The filet was tiny, maybe 4 oz. Definitely not anywhere near 8 in as stated on the menu and it was hard to find with all of the broccoli on the plate. We will be visiting family here again but definitely won't be back here. On another note, the music they were playing would be more suitable to a dance club than a venue such as this.

The kitchen was a little slow, but our waitress mentioned it ahead of time and that was OK. We tried the Moqueca for two with lobster. It was delicious, a vibrant Brazilian seafood stew, which was rich and creamy and flavorful. We would both definitely order this again. The serving was generous. We had the salgadinhos as an appetizer and they were delicious: three different kinds, cheese, chicken, shrimp. Think of them is like little empanadas and we would order this again. Cocktails were all great as well. Overall, a wonderful dinner!

We ordered two waters and my husband ordered one soda for himself. He came back with two waters and two glasses and poured the soda into two different glasses and proceeded to tell us no sharing we weren't sure what he meant by this because I never asked for a pop. He was laughing when he said it so we let that one go. We ordered the same thing we got last time which was some kind of chicken stew with rice and coconut milk and peanuts because it was delicious the last time we had it. I made the mistake of telling the waiter that my husband had the chicken stroganoff and that was good too that I had tasted his last time he proceeded to tell me there's no sharing and laughing hysterically. I figured he was just trying to be funny? The last time we came to this restaurant, we had four people the bill was $350 because we ordered all kinds of appetizers and desserts. He overheard this and came to the table and said then I think what you need to do is order the $80 plate since you guys are ordering the same thing and remember there's no sharing then he proceeded to say something else about getting me another Coke if I wanted it and my husband had to correct him several times saying she never ordered a coke if you would have actually listened to what we wanted and stop trying to be a comedian ! Then my husband told him to please just put in our order for 2 dinners and some bread or we were going to leave, he said oh are you serious right now? My husband told him yes I am and you are insulting us with your comments about " sharing " its getting to the point where we may need another waiter he quickly walked away. Someone else brought our food to the table but no bread, my chicken stew had 3 little pieces of chicken in it nothing like we had the 1 st time my husband had to give me some chicken with my stew which was a coconut soup with a little white rice all mixed together not like the last time at all. We finally had to ask for the bread which he brought over. The dinner was terrible, but we didn't want to say anything because we just wanted to get out of there. Our whole dinner was ruined. Here's the thing the waiter seemed very off-balance. something is definitely not right with him. I understand he's new but the way he was speaking with us was unprofessional. Don't try to be a comedian. Read the room. And as for his comments about sharing for the last time when when we were here with our daughter and her boyfriend and spent over $300 for the bill, we can taste whoever's dinner we want to taste! And when you're offering tapwater and four dollars for a can of pop and making comments the way he was, I will never ever step foot in this place again too inconsistent with their food and too many other places to go to. So disappointing.

For a party of 2, we shared the ratatouille, onion soup, beef stroganoff, and profiteroles. Surprisingly the ratatouille was a favorite. The onion soup and beef stroganoff were good but standard. It was my first time trying profiteroles and it reminded me of a cream puff. The texture was not my favorite, but I'm glad I tried it. Service was attentive, and I appreciate all of Stephani's recommendations. Parking available as street parking (if you're lucky you can get a free spot a block away but most likely will have to pay). Overall a cute place if you're looking for a French inspired cafe but a little pricey. The ambience is what stood out to me the most.

Per our request, our party of six was seated on the outdoor patio overlooking the Chagrin River waterfall, which made for a beautiful setting. One thing to note: you cannot reserve patio seating in advance, but you can request it upon arrival if space is available. We started with four appetizers: *Heavenly Biscuits - AMAZING. *Short Rib Potstickers - Excellent. *Spinach Artichoke Dip - Excellent. *Grilled Artichoke - Good, but not really my style of dish. For entrées, we tried several different items: *Grilled Fish of the Day (Grouper) - Excellent, although the portion was on the smaller side. *Lake Erie Walleye Fish & Chips - Very good. *Thai Steak Noodle Salad - Excellent. *Steak and Frites - Excellent. We also ordered two sides: *Coleslaw - Very good. Is it the best coleslaw I've ever had? No. Is it excellent and worth ordering? Absolutely. *Roasted Baby Yukons - Excellent. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant graciously provided a complimentary dessert sundae. While the gesture was appreciated, I do wish guests were given a choice of dessert. The sundae was fine, but with several outstanding ice cream shops nearby, the ice cream itself was fairly average. Service was quick and efficient overall. There were a few minor areas for improvement: Wet naps would have been appreciated, as we had to request extra napkins multiple times throughout the meal. Service slowed down a bit during the dinner rush. The steak entrée arrived noticeably later than the rest of the main courses, which may have been due to the kitchen being overwhelmed. It also took a little longer than expected to receive extra plates when requested. These were relatively minor issues, however, and did not significantly detract from the evening. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience with great food, a beautiful patio overlooking the waterfall, and solid service. We would gladly return and would certainly recommend it for special occasions or a nice evening out.
