My husband and I stopped here on way to dinner. What a great spot, oh how I wanted to stay longer. I had a glass of a wonderful cab and we went and sat by the fire. unfortunately, they only had wine, so my husband just enjoyed the place as he is a beer drinker. They look like they had a wonderful outdoor space in a very wooded area. I can't wait to go back, hopefully with my two favorite wine people. My mom and oldest daughter and stay a bit. read more

Nice, small family winery. The building has a counter to order wine and small bites. If it's raining or cool there are tables there. Tonight we sat outside under patio umbrellas. Sitting in the back yard was like being at an old fashioned family picnic. There are large trees and a pond. Under a shelter was a guitar player. A man with a one-man food service called Bicycle Food Cart set up making hot items and kebabs. Food was good. Adequate parking and restrooms. A relaxing place. read more

Really cute winery. I've been here twice once was for a wedding shower and another just for wine. The inside is a woody cozy feel. Outside there is a deck and seating. I had a merlot brownie and it was 10/10. Service both times was great. I'd like to come back and spend more time here and some time outside enjoying a nice glass of wine. We got our wine, sat in the Adirondack chairs, watched our fellow wine folk and just generally enjoyed the laidback atmosphere. They don't serve food so we packed sandwiches and chips and nuts for our visit. Was like a indoor picnic. The wine was good for Ohio made wine. The interior was warm and cozy. While the outside is a little rustic, I was pleasantly surprised how nice and welcoming the inside was. They have live music certain nights but not the night we visited. Check it out! read more

This is absolutely my kind of place. This is a small little winery nestled in the trees in Chagrin Falls - it's tucked away, down a little gravel driveway with a private dirt/gravel parking lot. I LOVE IT here!!! The winery itself looks like they took a house and refurbished it into a great little winery. There's a covered patio and two large rooms with a fireplace. There is exposed natural wood throughout and it's decorated wonderfully with carved wood pieces and of course, a taxidermied blind squirrel. The tables are mismatched and have a fun thrifted/antique feel and there are some comfy chairs around the fireplace. Perfect woody atmosphere getaway. They also have a little lake on the property, as well as an outdoor patio. Kids are also allowed, too. There are no waiters/waitresses here, which is prefect for facilitating an environment in which you can stay as long as you like without feeling guilty for taking up a table. We stayed for 2-3 hours just talking and wining. When you want wine/drinks, you just go up to the bar and order. The people at the bar are very knowledgeable about their wines and are extremely kind in answering any questions you have. We wanted to order sangria, but didn't know the best wine to pick, and they had their sangria expert come out from the back to answer our questions and pick out some delicious flavor combos! All their wines are made on-site in Chagrin Falls and their menu is constantly changing. Their prices are also very reasonable. After we were just sitting and relaxing, someone came around to clear our glasses and ask how everything was. When we went, in the fall, they had an AMAZING boozy apple cider that was warm and delightful. It hit the spot in the chilly fall air. They don't have much in the way of food, which is okay. When we were there, they had an appetizer table that you could grab a plate stuff of for $7 I think. But, since they don't have food, they let you bring in outside food. I would highly recommend stopping by and checking it out for a bottle of wine! They are open Thursday-Saturday 4-9pm, but check their website to see if it changes. The owners facilitate a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere, nestled in the trees and nature of Chagrin Falls. I will absolutely be coming back! read more

Very nice chill atmosphere. Sophisticated, but not stuffy, with very good wine. The food, a Greek taco, a mega grilled cheese, and a pepperoni roll were all delicious, especially the Greek taco! So I'm in the fence between 3-4 stars. I decided on 4 for the following... The ambience is so much fun also a great chill spot to bring friends. They let you bring food In Which helped with entertaining some guests and my parents (we went for my moms birthday) plenary of room for larger parties. Great cabin I. The woods feel with a beautiful fireplace! I wish their bar/counter was organized better a little confusing when a ton of people are waiting to purchase or tab out, but somehow they managed to keep track. I really loved the venue and the service! The wine! This is where I was a little on the fence. We tried everything they had and it was 50/50. I loved half the reds and bought a few bottles but the lighter reds didn't appeal to me at all. (Mind you they were sweeter and I'm a Malbec merlot type guy) but there woodland red and namesake red were great! The whites same thing 50/50. I liked the rose and the name sake the best! Overall good, great venue, amazing personalities put this in the 4-star category for me. We will definitely be back! read more

They should have better customer service to their customers I was standing in line and a customer told the food truck lady to F off which was way out of line she was nice and told them it would about 15 mins for fresh food well the guy told her her to F off and wanted a refund after 10 mins she told him the time he agreed then did a total 360 and when the owner came over he says to the food truck you can pack up and leave if you want how rude to invite a business their and your customers treat her badly and then you blame the food truck I will NEVER come back to blind squirrel unless I go blind and got lost lol this place is a total joke I felt so bad for the food truck she did nothing wrong and the guy was so out of line and so was the owner do better with customer service and the way you treat others bad business read more

Went here for first time 10/11/19, great property and winery enjoyed all the wines tasted. Suggest using chalk to marks the flights, and maybe easier access from the parking lot to the patio, we will be back and recommend to all our friends read more

Such a great intimate spot. Stopped last night as we live up the street and were looking for a new date night place. Nicely lit entry. Limited wine selection but it was good. All made right there. We discovered this new, little gem on our way to the local Target. My husband and I went, and loved it! I then organized a small group of my neighbor ladies to go there to support a friend who recently lost a her sister. They loved it, too. We brought our picnic, and enjoyed sitting out by the fire afterward. At the wine bar you can sample their labels, which all of us really liked! Bill, the owner and his family could not have been more gracious to us on both occasions. Everyone behind the counter was very knowledgable regarding the wine list and how their wine is made.
