It is quite a spacious and comfortable area with lots of tables and couches, a fireplace, a bar, and a bathroom. There's even a section where they make the wine in steel barrels. It's very cozy, charming, friendly and clean. The host/owners are extremely friendly. It seems that the owner's family is from Northern Italy and we enjoyed talking to them. The Wine itself far exceeded my expectations. We tasted three reds plus the Chardonnay, and we enjoyed all of it. The blueprint red blend was my favorite followed by the Chardonnay. I'm a bit of a Wine snob and I typically don't like Ohio wine. However, I was pleasantly surprised...okay...if we're being honest...actually shocked...that all the wine we tasted was excellent. We went today to pick out some pumpkins and the selection was enormous. Paul and Brenda are such wonderful people. We look forward to each visit and are so lucky to live a mile away. We would drive an hour without hesitation to get to them if we had to.

We had two children with us, so it was great to have a fully stocked kitchen. Bonus - they have a winery on the property, Rocky Point Winery. It was so fun and convenient to be able to go downstairs and order a glass of wine (beer/mixed drink), enjoy a tasty snack and sit at the lovely patio and garden areas. It has a nice selection of gifts to purchase at the winery as well. As I mentioned, the owner and staff were so accommodating and responsive. She did say that she was trained this way but it threw me off. Luckily, the owner came in and we were able to ask some questions. When I questioned the thought process of going from sweet to dry - he quickly corrected our remaining samples and made a note to do some retraining. I enjoyed that this was a family owned winery. Even the kids were studying subjects in college to allow them to be part of the business as well. I loved the theme of time. Our group ended up leaving with several bottles and I would definitely recommend this winery to others.
