Have you tried the new Winter Menu? We are obsessed with the Sweet Ricotta Pizza! Perfect spot to grab a last minute gift or sweet treats for Christmas! They have really improved the ordering set up with QR codes at the table to order your food! We were able to reserve a table for our group of 10 very easily! This is a very nice winery. There is inside and outside seating. Their food is amazing. I really like their brussel sprouts & pizza is good too. They also have plenty of desserts to choose from. I recommend their Rosé wine. You are able to order from your phone at the table or go to the counter to place your order. Food came out very quickly and the staff is very nice.

AMAZING!!! I came here for my birthday this month and I am so glad I picked it!! This is a beautiful winery in the winter, I can't imagine how gorgeous it is in the summer! The set up is a little weird... you don't get a waiter/waitress for you table, rather you walk to the front and order your drinks and food, or you can scan the QR code in the table and order that way! We realized it's more of a family style restaurant AFTER we ordered all of our own pasta.... But no regrets!!!! If you order like we did... you get a few meals out of it! That's a win right? The 10 of us all got to try different pastas.... And let me tell you NONE of them were a disappointment! I enjoyed the Pappardelle 'Nduja, it was the perfect amount of spice and the burrata cheese on top was DELICIOUS!!! I also ordered the fried mozzarella to share, which again was delicious... gone the minute it hit the table! My friends enjoyed soups, salads, fries, and of course more pastas! I got to try a bite of most of the things we ordered and again nothing was bad! If you are looking for an intimate/romantic place I think this would be the perfect date stop! It was also wonderful for groups on 10 or less!! I can't wait to come back here and enjoy even more of this atmosphere!!

This winery is fantastic! The food has only improved over the years! We ordered a few different pizzas and they were delicious. In terms of wine, they source their grapes from various regions outside of Ohio, which is why their wine is so delicious unlike many Ohio wines (sorry Ohio). When you go, you'll order in the first area you walk into, and food will be brought out when ready. Overall, it's an efficient system. They don't take reservations for smaller parties, but I've never had to to wait more than a few minutes for a table. Most impressive here is the ambiance. They have so many different indoor/outdoor options in terms of seating, and it's all beautiful. I'd say the baked goods are the weakest element. The desserts look super impressive, however, we've never thought any of them were above mediocre. Overall, this is a fun experience!

This was a lovely winery and restaurant. We came for lunch to cool off after a visit to Brandywine falls on a Friday afternoon. I was impressed with the ambience, the friendly service, and delicious food. For a group of 6 we shared the calamari, truffle fries, summer mix salad, and iberico pork. The portions were very generous and filled us up! They also have a wide selection of desserts and bakery goods! We left feeling very satisfied with the experience.

5/5 wine. Rose was our favorite, not sweet and very smooth. 3/5 service. The tables are so packed together because it's self serve that you have difficulty getting out because you're on top of each other. Food did come out at a decent speed. Our favorites were the cacio y pepe pizza and the burrata (that tomato was delicious!) Beautiful decor and ambiance, just so hectic with so many people.

When I arrived there was ample parking and I noticed a contemporary, rustic chic aesthetic. I've had several people recommend this place to me, from a family member of the owner to a friend who recommended I come to have a glass of wine for my birthday. My first impression is that it is a nice atmosphere for me to have wine of course. Because I arrived close to closing, it was room to sit at the bar (and a table if I desired), so I sat. I was immediately greeted by a bartender (is that what you call a person who works the bar at a winery ) and informed the kitchen was closed which was ok because I only wanted wine. My friend recommended the Rosé, so I chose the 2022. It was mellow, smooth, with fruity notes and I got a nice buzz kinda quick. I did notice, like some of the other reviews that it is very loud. It's also very bright, so I'm not sure if it really lends to the ambiance of what I would expect at this time of evening, but I've never been at any other time. I feel like it was worth the short drive outside of Cleveland for my birthday and I'm willing to visit again to experience another aspect of this establishment. I was pleased.

We spent the day at this beautiful winery. It is not a fancy place. It is simple and elegant at the same time. We truly enjoyed all the food as there is something for everyone. The wine is excellent, the coffee was delicious and of course the sweets were perfect. We will be visiting again very soon.

Michael Angelo's always delivers! First the whole ambiance and atmosphere is fantastic and perfect for meeting up with a large group of friends and family. You can also call or schedule ahead a larger party. I love when it's warmer you can sit outside and walk around. Now the food and wine are also delicious! They have a large selection of items - something for everyone. Personally we love to order 3-4 items from the shared appetizers / bites section. The portions are generous. It's also so nice that they switch out a few menu items each season. We had the french onion grilled cheese and suppli, which were both amazing!! The shrimp and polenta were pretty good as well. Truffle fries and brussels sprouts are a go to and the Rose! You do have to order yourself at the bar or through their QR code system. Then they will quickly bring out your orders.

Ask the Community - Michael Angelo's Winery

Is the winery dog friendly?

We are pet friendly in our outdoor spaces. We welcome well behaved dogs that do not disrupt other guests on our outdoor patio area. Inside the winery only trained service animals with appropriate documentation are allowed because of health…

Is there ever live music there?

Yes. Check the website.

Is the place kid friendly? Can we make a reservation? Thanks!

I would say yes to some extent, but maybe think about the time of day and the age of your kids. I think it's fine, there's a lot of good food like pizza that kids like. It IS a cafe-style winery, so I wouldn't say it's "kid friendly" necessarily,…

Do they have any other alcoholic beverages besides wine?

Not that I recall. There are about 8 wines to choose from.

This was my first time here since it was a vet, but after walking past several times and seeing the parking lot full, I had to come in and see what the hubbub is all about. Dropped in on a Saturday afternoon. Was quite surprised at the size of the tasting room and the attention to detail they used when building the place. Met the wine maker who is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Was conflicted between the Cab and the Red blend. Asked for a sample and was pleased with both, but the blend was truly unique. Ordered a full glass, which came with a side of chips and a few chocolate raspberry candies. Everything was first class. Will leave with a couple of bottles but must come back when the patio is open and the band is playing.

And they have a little stage set up for musicians to play. We were treated with some entertainment from Alley Kats. I think that was their name. Lots of fun. Now to the wine. We all have different tastes. Sweet, semisweet and dry. There was something for all of us. We talked to the owner who was a super nice guy and he got us all situated. We got the Red Dolce. It was a bit sweet and smooth. Very good. Everyone else seemed happy and enjoyed their wine. We also got some cheese, crackers and salami to munch on. Also tastee. Lots of people having a good time. It never seemed crowded or too much. Inside looks nice. So if it rains or in the winter it will be nice to sit inside. You can open a tab or pay as you go. Prices aren't bad for a glass or a bottle. Glasses are in the $7 range or so and bottles in the $23 range. It's a nice fun atmosphere to sit and listen to music for awhile or just grab a glass and head out afterwards. This is a definite return!

The Wine itself far exceeded my expectations. We tasted three reds plus the Chardonnay, and we enjoyed all of it. The blueprint red blend was my favorite followed by the Chardonnay.
