I looked at the menu ahead of time and settled on some faves of mine, arepas and yucca fries, but others in the group ordered a variety of dishes amd drinks, all of which were delicious! I stuck with water as my beverage because the cocktails/mocktails were a bit too pricey for me. I ordered the trio arepas ($18) and a side order of yucca fries ($5), which were very filling and sprinkled with cheese. I liked my meal a lot although I would like to see a few more types of arepas offered on the menu. Our server, Valeria, was absolutely amazing and served our party of 21 women quickly and efficiently. There was a 3% card usage fee as well as an automatic 20% gratiuiy for parties of 6 or more, so after paying with card, my total bill was $30.54. I left full and happy and hope to come back again to try their other dishes, particularly their pizzas and a creative cocktail or two.

Last night for the Draft, they had a nice crowd at the tables, but hardly anyone at the bar. Hopped up on a tall bar chair and nearly fell off as a wooden support piece was dangling from the bottom. Switched chairs and, while I didn't fall off, I could rock back and forth on it..weak wood again. Then the LOL kicks in. Two people behind the bar. For the next two hours, we were not spoken to. Every single thing we ordered, we had to get their attention. The male was particularly hilarious as he never even made eye contact with us as we were begging for service. The food? Less than meh. Very Gordon Food Service in taste and presentation. The bill for four domestic beers, one sandwich and one small pizza (a Thursday special low price) was 54 bucks before tip! It's a mystery to me why there are so many cars in the parking lot every time I come. I know the atmosphere is good for kids (loud and big inside). You really have to have a mix of seating. The service was good. The ordering is self serve and the staff helps. The problem is, it's on a system that restaurant servers would use to place orders, so it's not very user friendly. They really should invest on a customer-facing ordering software that's more intuitive. Another thing about the service is that, even if they don't have actual servers, they really could have some of the staff just mill about and check on tables to make sure everything was ok. This definitely is more of a traditional quiet cafe rather then one where there is lots of people working/headphones on, etc. They offer cheesecakes, cakes and more by the slice or I believe you can purchase the entire thing. They also offer sandwiches/wraps and other made to order items if that's what you're looking for. I'm not exactly sure which goods are baked in house and which are bought from a place but regardless it's great they offer such variety. Everything tasted really good. The cold salads sit in a case so you can look at them before ordering. I recommend the apple caramel cheesecake although it's not pictured. The prices for coffee are very good and I enjoy the styrofoam cup as it keeps drinks hot and cold. They also give very nice glasses/mugs if you choose to dine in and ask for your drinks to be prepared that way. The food is also priced pretty fairly, and the slices of cakes are a bit pricy at 7.99 but you get a very large portion.
