Second time here. Nice appetizer menu. We've enjoyed the focaccia. Loved the calm country feel…read more Beautiful outdoor area with view to the nearby country airport where you can see the local small aircraft take off and land. Enjoyable afternoon. Good service. Dry wines are nice but not a huge variety for those looking for flights. Thankfully we found a couple we really enjoyed (pretty woman & satisfaction). Will come again when we're in the area!

On our way home from a wonderful weekend exploring the wineries and breweries of western Ohio, we…read morefound ourselves at a charming winery that quickly became a highlight of our trip. Although they've been here for only a short while, they currently craft their wines at @lincolnwayvineyards --a place we love and have missed visiting. I absolutely loved the "Satisfaction" red wine. It's a dry, oaked wine with aromas of dark fruit, made from French-American hybrid DeChaunac grapes originating from New York, and it boasts a 13.1% ABV. Another standout was the "After Midnight," which reminds me of a saying my parents used when I wanted to extend my curfew in high school: "Nothing good happens after midnight." This wine is the exception. It's a semi-dry, floral aromatic wine, also originating from New York, on the sweeter side with a 2.5% residual sugar and a 12.3% ABV. Overall, the staff was awesome, the wine was excellent, and the space was inviting. Can't wait to revisit. Cheers!

First of all Filia Cellars is NOT a winery or a vineyard. So if you go there expecting rows of…read moregrapes or a large scale winery and are severely disappointed that is on you. With that being said Filia is a fantastic place to sit and drink wines in a unique and beautiful atmosphere. The building itself is an old Victorian house with several rooms to sit and enjoy wine. If you visit in the summer they have a barn where there is live music and tables set up outside around a fire pit. The wines are really good. I am not a dry red girl myself but found myself enjoying the dry reds. They do have some grapes out front and when we went to check them out the owner offered us some to taste. They were amazing. We got the 10oz samplers and they come in a handy carrier so we could get them to where we were going safely. The only thing I could say I didn't care for at Filia is the pricing of certain items. They do have a cheese tray, with an option of chocolate. You pay $10+ for a plate stacked with a sleeve of crackers, a block of Kraft cheese and a chocolate bar that they pull out of a jar on the bar. There is no beautiful or delicious looking presentation, which I think should come with the price. Otherwise I will just take the wine home and purchase some cheese on the way. If you enjoy wine I would suggest you try this beautiful place out!

This was probably my favorite winery we stopped at on our trip to the area. Cute tasting room with…read moreoutdoor seating as well as an event space. They were going to have live music as well as a food truck in the evening but we had other plans. The winery offered samples for $1. Most of our group chose 4-6 wines to try so our table looked a bit crazy with all the glasses. The one downside was that the employee who helped us was relatively new and had us do our tastings from sweet to dry, instead of dry to sweet. She did say that she was trained this way but it threw me off. Luckily, the owner came in and we were able to ask some questions. When I questioned the thought process of going from sweet to dry - he quickly corrected our remaining samples and made a note to do some retraining. I enjoyed that this was a family owned winery. Even the kids were studying subjects in college to allow them to be part of the business as well. I loved the theme of time. Our group ended up leaving with several bottles and I would definitely recommend this winery to others.

They do have food trucks at times. Still, a couple more food choices wood be nice. Maybe some different chips and dips, veggie trays or flatbreads. Has a large upper room for special events, and a small patio but plenty of green space with tables, great for entertainment with a wooded area that has a fire pit. Just maybe a few more fire pits for the colder evenings.
