We visited the goats who were beleaguered by bees (they didn't seem to care) and enjoyed our drinks outside. Our third visit here. Not super impressed. View is gorgeous. Staff is not knowledgeable on the wines. No food. Was told you just kind of build your own. Each cheese and meat is $10 each or chips. This was at the Barn at Wolf Creek venue right next door to the Winery so it may need its own page so I'll post this review here. Any hoo I was a guest at a wedding and I was cordially invited to come over here for the ceremony. Honestly of all the various venues I really enjoyed this venue. There's so much scenery it's handicapped accessible, great rest rooms. It does have limited parking too. Inside the barn portion, it's quite spacious, we had an open bar and I was content with the limited drink menu. This barn is well maintained and I just love all the architecture that's put into this venue is phenomenal. I don't live in Ohio but this place felt right at home. read more

If you like a scenic woodsy view, look no further! This place was a serene oasis, and it was just what we were looking for! If you're going to be hungry, be sure to bring your own food! They only have a few little snack items, and they encourage their customers to bring outside food. The gentleman that did our sampling was so nice and engaging! I was able to try the wines I wanted at $1/sample before deciding on a glass. They also have a selection of bottled beers and ciders, so they have everyone covered! There is room to sit inside and on the deck, but my favorite area to sit was outside. They have picnic benches scattered all over their lawn, so you can pick the perfect place! Additionally, they have four goats that play on jungle gyms, which are so cute! The ambiance was great, but the wine was so-so in my opinion. The scenery here is absolutely beautiful and I love the goats off the to the right hand side. We both ordered the dry white wine flight but I have to say, unfortunately, I was not impressed with the wine. All 4 were pretty sweet. The 1st was a white blend which was super seeet. The Pinot gris was off- it had a really smoky flavor which I've never encountered in a gris. The sav blanc was okay but by the end of the glass, was just blah. The Chardonnay was actually my favorite- not buttery or oaky like most chards. Overall, it's a beautiful spot but unfortunately just wasn't a fan of the wines. Maybe I'll try the red wine flight next! Great spot for large groups too since they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The scenery is so beautiful here. We love coming as a family with a picnic, feeding the goats, taking some walks, playing games.. and of COURSE drinking the wine!! They have a ton of new drink selections from cocktails to local beers too. They also have delicious snacks available (but if you are starving, bring some food with you). Reviewing The Great Room rental Easy to book. I had never been and the event planner Kelcie was great. Collected $100 deposit to reserve and Room rate was $125/hr for Saturday afternoon. Linens they provided were an additional $150 which I couldn't get for less with a rental company(I looked). Arranged with a catering company from their list of preferred vendors, and that went seamlessly. We hosted non alcoholic drinks $5/pp and prepaid some bottles of wine (variable) and Nancy our bartender managed other drink sales (beers, cocktails, bottle purchases) on individual tabs. Can't say more about the room, perfectly accommodated our group. Well appointed, nice bathrooms, and modern for our birthday party group of 30+ friends. Nancy the bartender was professional and helpful. Even helping us dispose of some leftover food trays at the end of the rental time. All images on the website were perfectly accurate, the room is great. Great staff, great time. Fantastic rental opportunity in the area. read more

Beautiful views out back! Tastings: .50 cents per tasting We tried all three of their red wines and I think it was the cab I liked best but I can't remember now! But they were all good. While they do not offer many food options, you are allowed to bring in your own food. The woman leading our tasting said many people will come on holidays with large food spreads. Outside there's plenty more seating and even goats to see! The back is a large hill which I'm sure kids love to run down. I'm sure the sunsets are lovely from the deck here. They are currently building a new building to host events in as well. They are also open Sundays. And many holidays including Easter, Mother's day and New Year's Day. Amazing fall views and pretty good wine, what more could you ask for? We came here for one of my friends engagement parties. We brought our own food and grabbed a couple tables outside. It was a beautiful fall day and there is enough outside space that you can really enjoy the scenery. There is this a great view of a valley with a lake and all of the leaves were changing colors. It really makes Ohio in the fall a special place. We tried several different wines and some food as well, and the universal favorite was the blueberry wine. I typically do not like sweet wines but this one wasn't that bad. There is also several beers to choose from, not a huge selection but enough to make most people happy. They could probably work on the beer selection because not everyone is into wine and some of those people get invited to wineries despite the fact. All in all, we left with plenty of laughs and memories. We will certainly come back. read more

My first winery experience happened to be at The Winery at Wolf Creek and it was a great choice! A lovely fall day to enjoy their specialty wines with indoor seating and outdoor picnic tables. Facing the back of the property was a small animal area with goats, and beyond that stood a beautiful wooded area. I prefer sweet wines and they had a fair selection to choose from. My favorite was called Blue wine, a blueberry wine! Not ready for a whole bottle? They offer tastings for $0.50 for one tasting or 3 tastings for $1.00. During my visit, all I had were tastings because I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I definitely recommend stopping in and enjoying a couple of hours here! read more

Good changes! They've remastered several of their wines in the last year or so and now have a dry rose! Their drier wines are much better these days. Too bad they only have the Space Cowboy in slushee-form now. The cranberry wine is available year-round now! I love that they have live music on weekday nights. This place is so beautiful! My family and I spent an afternoon here drinking wine and hanging out outside and it was absolutely perfect. The wine tasting here is 25 cents for a taste. Just throw a couple bucks in the jar and taste to your hearts content. They also sell cheese baskets for $8 that come with crackers and cookies. My favorite wines were the Redemption (brought a bottle of that home), Original Sin (apple wine), and Space Cowboy (peach wine). We ended up buying two bottles and two cheese baskets and sitting outside on the deck. Their land is gorgeous. They have goats, chickens, one huge cock (lol), a cute dog and a cute cat. We were playing with the animals and enjoying each other's company for over an hour out there. This is definitely a place to visit if you happen to be in the area. This was our first time visiting this place. I learned about the fall festival event via Facebook event so I decided to take my son. The place was pretty packed. You walk into the wine store where you can buy wine, cheese and crackers to feed the animals. Then you walked out onto the patio with tables. They had a live band playing and people eating drink and enjoying the atmosphere. Further along, they had an area to feel and take pictures with Goats. My son enjoyed feeding them. Under a huge tent, they had another wine/liquor table and different stations set up for children activities. I initially paid $5 for my son to paint a pumpkin but had to wait because the ran out of paint brushes. So we went to another station and he weaved a pumpkin with yarn, and a paper plate with holes in it. We painted a tree with a trace of his hand and a cork. After waiting for 15 min. His patience wore thin so we got a refund and went on to other activities that included hula hoops in a field. We later went and feed the bother animals, rolled down their huge hill and bought some popcorn. I lost my phone and a honest customer turned it in. Overall, the fall festival was a great experience and ill definitely take my son back and maybe bring some others along with us. read more

The wine tasting is so inexpensive and tasty. It took us a while to pick out a wine since the choices were so delicious. I would say White Lies, Redemption, and original sin would be my favorites. The view is so pretty. The goats and alpacas were hidden when i came so super stroked to see them next time.
