I came here one Thursday evening with my girlfriends. There is great ambiance and ample parking. They offer live music on some weekends. They have a large selection of house wines as well as other brands. The server was kind but didn't seem very knowledgeable about the wine. All the dishes are enormous and meant to be shared. We shared the goat cheese with blackberry preserves and a Genoa flatbread and even with the three of us, we had a lot to take home with us. The duo and the flatbread were both incredible. The flatbread is actually two whole flatbreads and the dip was the size of a dinner plate. They were kind to get us an extra loaf of bread to go with the dip because we ran out. Their kitchen closed at 8 even though they were open until 9. That was about annoying because we considered ordering an additional dish but worked out fine since the dishes were so large. read more

Solid 3.8 Nice atmosphere for an Ohio winery. Keep in mind all wines are world wide distribution wines, no wines are made on premise. Great flatbread pizza (Pineapple/Canadian bacon and Spicy Chicken). A tad on the expensive side but the staff and surroundings make up for it. I'd go again. read more

What a treat! We stumbled upon this place when we were on a short weekend trip, and it will now be a regular place I go to when I'm in the area. For those who need a wheelchair entrance- they had one setup in the front. The portions of food are generous! The staff is super kind. And, it has a very intimate vibe to it. 7/2/22 Had a truly memorable night out, as this was the first time we took our golden retriever to a restaurant. What an awesome setting to bring the pooch as you can see if these pics! Our waiter was very attentive and filled up our water bottle to make sure Boomer was as happy as his owners. The dinner itself was just outstanding! Had the chicken Caesar flatbread and the peach & goat cheese dip. I often find flatbread to be dry, but this was moist and topped with a delicious drizzle. The dip was to die for and not as runny as it has sometimes been...just perfect! Ordered an old fashioned and a manhattan for drinks. Both were a bit watery, but I was happy to have an alternative to wine on this particular night. I chose the Wine Mill as host for a surprise 60th Birthday Party for my wife, and Steven and his crew were wonderful. Not only were they easy to work with, they handled all the details and even suggested a wonderful musician (which I had not even thought about). The atmosphere for the party was festive but comfortable, and the food was terrific. Many of my guests told me how much they enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. Steven was also very thoughtful -- helping without complaint to deal with a few last minute changes, and even asking my permission before he posted on their social media accounts that the restaurant would be closed on the day of our event, for fear of ruining the surprise! I appreciated Steven's demeanor throughout the planning process, and that attitude continued through the event itself. And apparently, he is not only good at events, he is also good at selecting and training staff, because everyone of the staff members who helped us were efficient and friendly without being intrusive. What a rustic, romantic spot! There is a beautiful garden and mill covered with flowers on the outside. No detail was left out as you walk in - it's got a cute rustic barn aesthetic that is clean and comfortable. I had such a wonderful time here on a girl's night on a Tuesday. There wasn't many people here at all. Even the big parking lot behind the place is surrounded by trendy lights. It's hard to miss driving by, especially at night since there are tons of cute lights around it. The inside is gorgeous! It's very intimate, with dim lighting, chill music, bookshelves, farm decor that somehow manages to be fancy and elegant. We ended up getting a bottle of wine, two food items, and dessert. I know little to nothing about wine and wine quality, sorry... but we got a bottle for $20, and there's tons of choices going up in price from there. Each food item on the menu is meant for two people to share, so they're fairly large portions! We got the chicken Caesar flatbread, which came with two large pizzas. They were cooked to perfection! We also got a roasted chicken "skillet dip", which was essentially a gooey cheesy dip/spread with chicken that came with bread, salad, and little crackers to dip. For dessert, a s'mores skillet with melted chocolate on the bottle with perfectly toasted large marshmallows on top and hella graham crackers. Splitting the bill for all of that 3 ways, we each spent about 30 buckaroonis. It's SOOOO worth it though. Honestly, I had a wonderful experience here and this is one of my new favorites in the area. The waitress was nice and knowledgeable about wine even though we weren't. They just started decorating for Christmas and have a wonderful tree in the front. I would recommend this to couples for a date night, catching up with old friends, really anyone. I think they do, like weddings and private events here too. I need to come back here during the summer when I can sit on their awesome patio outside! This is hands down the best little wine restaurant in the Akron/Cuyahoga Falls area. They have such a great menu of wines and honestly even there "house" options are great. $28 for a bottle is a decently good deal in my opinion as well! As for the food -- while yes it is a little pricey it is all great! Nothing beats relaxing in their yard with a glass of wine and a cheese board. They reserved an area for us and their baker even made us a custom birthday cake that was so beautiful! The ambiance is incredible and the food was delicious. We got married Wednesday morning at Virginia Kendall and were on our way back to the hotel when my wife saw the wine mill and said, "oh I wish they were open, it looks so pretty there, it would be nice to celebrate with a glass of wine right now." This is a cozy and comfortable little place. Although they don't offer any sweet red wines (my preference), they do have a great moscato that has become my staple. The antipasto platter is great for a group of 3-4. I took a group of colleagues here and everyone had enough to eat and then some. For a more intimate date, the three cheese tray is perfect. It's actually my favorite thing on the menu. The three cheeses are always different, and I enjoy getting to sample all different types. The first time I visited was for my 26th birthday dinner, and I fell in love at first sight. I have never had a less than great server, and the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date or a work gathering. Make sure your guests aren't expecting a traditional meal though. Or just surprise them with how filling and delightful the cheese boards are. The seating outside is beautiful just be careful wigging around in your seat. Nestled into the front of a development this wine bar definitely knows it's audience. Nice relaxed outdoor area, live laid back music the night we were there. We enjoyed our visit here. The house sangria and wines were very good. Their bottle selection was also well done. We came here for dinner and it was great. All of their menu is shareable items which worked out perfectly for us. For 4 people we got two flatbreads, a cheese board and charcuterie board (and drinks obviously). The cheese selections were excellent. It was filling and delicious and we enjoyed getting to try a little bit of everything and sharing the plates. The atmosphere was perfect for a laid back dinner with friends. Live music was tasteful and enjoyable but not too loud - perfect for conversation. My mother in law took me here for my birthday because I was in town and she knew I had been wanting to try it out for some time now. First off let me say this, the ambience is beautiful and very charming. It would be a great place to bring a date or have a girls night out. What I didn't care for were the appetizers, our server wasn't very knowledgable about the wine, and they were out of several things I asked for that were listed on the wine menu. I ended up ordering a flight of rose' They ran out of two that I liked, so I ordered a glass of Pinot noir after the flight. The skillet dips tasted like cream cheese. There was too much cheese. We ordered the goat cheese peppered peach dip, chicken spinach artichoke, another cream cheese chicken dip, and the braised pork sliders. The pork sliders were a slightly dry with little flavor but they were okay. It was just too much and around $17-$22 a pop I expected a little more quality than what was offered. Their menu is designed for sharing, so the portions are huge, hence the price tag. That's really not that appealing to me. I'd give it another shot for drinks and dessert because I do love the ambience. read more

The Wine Mill is hands down an incredible wine experience. The restaurant is located on a quiet road off the highway which helps contribute to the very peaceful rustic aesthetic they were going for. It's a very cute place decorated with beautiful string lights and floral center pieces. They even had pumpkins out for the fall season! They have a big enough parking space for the crowd they drew in on a Friday night. We ordered a flight which was 3 3oz pours of any of the house wines. I will say this did limit which wines you could try because it could only be the wines that they make but they were absolutely delicious and it was such a fun experience to be able to test multiple wines! I suggest if you go with a friend to each order different wines so you can get a variety of kinds! Then we order our food and let me tell you these portions are big enough for a feast! The sliders are about half of a sub roll bun and the cheese platter was full blocks of cheese. It is pricey but definitely worth the money. We finished with dessert which was a skillet of toasted marshmallows graham crackers and chocolate , again enough food to feed an army! The service was incredible we had a very kind waitress who helped my mother find a delicious bottle of wine and guided us through which wines we would enjoy in our flight. I will say one downside is the noise level. We started with a very peaceful evening and it got very loud very quickly. This is mainly because the restaurant caters to big groups of people. Wow! This place was a great find. We wanted to find a new spot and had heard great things so gave this place a shot. Its set at an adorable mill and they have really done it up all so nicely. The parking lot is extremely tight so they require valet only parking to ensure all space is utilize ( since it gets so popular!!) that would be the only "down side" i saw to this place. The atmosphere is amazing here, its beautifully decorated and the photos I have attached are the only way I can give it justice. It is great for groups but ONLY if you make a reservation, if not, there is limited space so no guarantee The best part about this place is the wine tasting, the menu is set up for you to pick ANY 3 wines at a standard $15 to have a "tasting of" regardless of the price of the bottle. We were able to sample 3 wines, one being a $20 bottle, a $70 bottle, and a $120 bottle -all for $15! It was a great way to try different wines/ expensive wines you might not otherwise have indulged in. I can not forget to talk about the food- the food wouldn't be a place for actual meals, BUT they have it set up for your group to pick items that are plenty enough to feed multiple people. We had the peach and goat cheese dip and it was AMAZING! I have never been a fan of goat cheese, but this was much lighter in taste and was delicious. we thought this would be just a starter for us ( 3 of us) but after this we were to stuffed to have another meal! We ended up getting the chocolate trifle in the mason jar and is was delicious ( and served all of us easily) but was extremely rich. Our server Lauren was also great! She was very helpful and could elaborate on any questions we had on the wine of food menu, but was also not pushy with making us make a decision/order quickly. She was great! The manager/ owner was also there as we walked in and was walking around checking in to make sure everyone was happy (not in an annoying " interrupt my meal" kind of way though!) You could tell he genuinely wanted to make sure everyone was happy and having a good time. Overall, this place is great for get together with friends and family, and is ideal for hanging out and catching up in a cool atmosphere. Oh and not to forget- they did talk about an event they have hosted for wine tasting. It was a 4 course meal with wine tasting for a standard $60. There were 40 spots available and it filled up extremely quickly and was very successful. They are thinking of doing this event a few times a year, but still pending on the next one! I want to start by thanking the person who made this place into a wine bar! I grew up in the neighborhood and it used to be an antique shop a long, long time ago and has been abandoned for years! My sister and I love coming here now and we are so happy with the idea of a fabulous wine bar. The owner/GM is also wonderful as he comes around to each table and really seems to be involved :) Since I am from the area, in my opinion this is not a place that competes with Sarah's Vineyard. I think they are completely different in great ways. The Wine Mill offers 2 house made wines within each category. They have a great size wine list for a small neighborhood establishment. They offer a great mix of sweet and dry wines. You can get most wines as a Taste, Glass or Bottle. The best deal is the $15 Flight (includes 3 tastes)! You can get any wine that lists a tasting price no matter how much it is for the flat rate of $15! What a steal! The food is made to share between 2 people. I have found that the cheese skillets can be shared by 4 people and still be enough. The bonus is that if you order extra bread for the skillets they don't charge you (like other places tend to do). I have ordered the Chicken and Cheese skillet during both my visits and it is fantastic!! I have also tried the Pulled Pork and Short Rib Sliders- both fantastic as well. The sliders and cheese skillets are served with greens on the side. My next visit I need to try the Mason Jar sundae. When I saw mason jar on the menu I wasn't sure but if you see these Mason Jars in person they are HUGE! *Note: They usually have about 6 beers (or more) for beer lovers who get dragged to come here by wine lovers! read more

If I could, I'd probably give a 3.5 for my first experience here but I would lean more toward 3 than 4 as far as stars go. My husband and I rode our Harley here on a nice Saturday afternoon. The outside is decorated so cozy and country but it was 90+ with no breeze so we unfortunately opted out of the outside tables and were seated inside. It was about 4 pm but there were only 3 other couples there when we got there. They were also setting up for some sort of shower, which was arriving when we left later on. I noticed stairs so I'm pretty sure there's some upstairs loft seating, too. To the food and wine...we ordered a flight of 3 and tried all house wines of theirs. I'm certainly not well-versed in wines by any means, but I do frequent local wineries in the Akron-canton-Erie areas and as far as house wines go, you probably won't be content here if you like sweeter wines. We tried Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling. There were no rosé, moscato, or Zinfandel options in the house wines so like I said, not much sweet. The Riesling was more like a Pinot Grigio in my opinion, and Riesling is usually one of my favorites but I actually favored the Chardonnay here. Not being particularly wow'ed by any, we decided not to get a bottle or full glasses of any after our sampling. The flight consisted of pretty heavy pours though, so that was nice. When it came to food, we had wanted to do what we usually do and get some kind cheese plate and then meals but the menu was quite pricey here, I'd venture to say a good $8-$10 more per plate than what most wineries seem to typically charge for that type of food. We decided to skip an app and just get meals. As we were ordering, the waitress told us the meals are large portions plenty for 2. I didn't see this anywhere on the menu so it kind of threw us off so we went ahead and each ordered our own like we'd planned, nervous to switch it up on a whim, and figured if the meals were really that big, we'd take leftovers. Well, the portions were huge. He got the chicken Parmesan sliders and they came with 4 over a bed of greens tossed in a delicious balsamic. I got the short rib sandwich, which also came over a bed of balsamic greens. I could've never eaten it as a sandwich as it came on two large, thick Baguettes but the big steak knife worked well to cut. Both meals were prepared excellently, I'll say that for sure. Very flavorful and satisfying. We both indeed had leftovers. So here's what we decided afterward. Had we known in advance portions would be huge, we would've shared one and got a cheese plate for roughly the same price. The couple across from us got one of the cheese plates and it looked like one of the best put together ones I've seen, whole triangles of various cheeses, tastier "non-Ritz" crackers and a huge thing of grapes in the middle. I had cheese plate envy. So given what we now know about the quality of cooking and size of all of the plates, the pricing makes sense. Except for the wine. Like I said, not particularly in awe of any of the House wines. The wine list was extensive and full of other wines of every kind but I, like most people I'm assuming, want the wine of the winery I go to when possible. I usually buy a bottle to go but with all of the house wines coming in right around $30, I didn't. The service was also pretty lax. Like I said, 3 other couples in the whole place and other workers setting up for the shower. Our waitress didn't even come to our table for about 10 minutes after we'd been seated and She didn't check on us after food and we needed water. It also took well over 35-40 minutes to receive our food after ordering, which is a little longer than most restaurants, especially when not busy. Perhaps preparing large portions for the shower played a factor here? I don't know. I'd go back again and hope for better service, and I'd order a bit differently as described above. But at the same time, to be known as a winery I think the house wines need a little more work or at least a little more variation. read more

This winery is beyond compare! They give huge generous portions, yummy cocktails (sangria) and wine, and not to mention the employees and owner make you feel like you're at home with family. Despite the hardship during COVID they came out of it even better. They treat everyone in such a respectful and loving way! If something is wrong, they always fix it. You need to try the dips! The taco dip is my absolute favorite! Any negative reviews on here obviously have to do with the person itself and not the service or food. I have NEVER had a issue and I have been coming for years. A great find for a girls night!! My girlfriends and I always love to ditch our significant others and try new places...they usually include wine, shareable appetizers and a lot of catch up. This place is new and cozy. We made a reservation which is a must for a Friday evening. We arrived to a full parking lot which is always a good sign and luckily they have valet...which is free so save yourself the hassle and just do valet. The interior is exactly what you'd expect from the name, warm, cozy, small...you will need to squeeze through other tables but after wine who cares. At first our service was slow, but then again I think we arrived at the height of a Friday evening. It allowed us ladies time to catch up, browse the wine selection (some of them can take forever to decide - but I still love them). The selection was great and being the lush I am I tend just to buy a bottle...hello liquid doggy bag! After getting accustomed to the tight quarters and adjusting our tone we were able to hear one another. So there is one tidbit, if you are wanting a quiet romantic secluded dinner, do not go here on a busy night - it's packed, small and can get extremely loud. Food was great and portion sizes were enough for the 4 of us (more than enough) we split some cheese , some dip, etc. We enjoyed everything we sunk out teeth in. Once the rush of the evening calmed down our server was great, attentive, funny and was also deemed our photographer! The only downside was us ladies don't get away from the everyday 'mom' life much so when we get together it's butts in seats for hours. Our reservation was for 7:30, by the time all arrived and got our wine to cheers it was 8pm. They must close oddly early cause next thing we knew they were performing all the closing duties around us (remember it's small inside), the server was very attentive in asking if we needed anything else, the owner (I believe) graciously came up and thanked us for coming in and then the dreaded lights turned up...this was between 10-10:15. To me, a Friday night close at 10 seems a bit early so I'm not sure if it's something they will adjust in the future but even my hubby wasn't expecting me home by 10:30 that night :( Overall, I will definitely be back, probably with the same ladies that I love so much...and for the fact I told my little girl that "mommy failed wine school so I have to go back"...the things I do to get out for some much needed mama time! read more
