Visited Hemingway's Underground with the wife recently. She made a reservation, which is generally required here. Upon arrival, we were seated and a waiter/bartender visited us within 10 minutes. Our waiter was very friendly and funny. I requested an amaretto sour and my wife requested prosecco with gin. Our drinks were made, delivered, and were delicious. Then I requested a Fathead's Bumbleberry, which was good. We requested two appetizers - pistachios and hummus. Those two were made and delivered fairly quickly. The sweet pistachios were really tasty. The hummus was excellent as well. For dinner, I went with braised short rib and my wife requested Athenian chicken. While we waited, we enjoyed conversation and the ambience of this subterranean establishment. There were TVs with old commercials playing. There were at least six bartenders making drinks and serving food. The place was packed and the staff worked hard to provide quick service. Upon arrival, our dinners looked appetizing. My braised short rib was very tasty. The mashed potatoes were delicious. My wife liked her lemony chicken. It had a crunchy crust that tasted like lemon. It was very good. There was also a citrus flavor on the arugula salad bed that it was served on. Overall, dinner and drinks were very good and we will visit again.

We were thrilled to find a cocktail bar in our county that truly made delicious craft cocktails! It reminded us of the amazing cocktails bars in we've visited in larger cities. Tell them your flavor profile and they will definitely be able to make something you'd love.

Had a great first experience at Hemingway's Underground. Upon walking in at the street level, you descend a flight of stairs and suddenly you're in this cozy intimate space with exposed brick columns, and quirky decor. Despite being underground, the natural light from the entrance windows gives it a warm inviting glow. The bar itself is large and impressive With bartenders who clearly know their craft. Lots of cozy seating on the floor as well. The bartenders were knowledgeable, friendly, and made great suggestions from the extensive cocktail menu. The drinks are not just good, they are creative and inspiring. What really surprised me was the food. I wasn't expecting a full menu in a cocktail lounge, but they offer everything from soups and salads to appetizers and hearty Italian pasta entrées. The chef even came out to greet us, which added such a personal touch. Every dish we tried was excellent, and the homemade tiramisu was the perfect finale! Overall Hemingway's underground strikes the perfect balance of the atmosphere, drinks, and food. Whether you're here for cocktails, dinner, or both, it's a spot worth discovering and revisiting.

I went when they first opened and it was underwhelming. But I gave it another go and was blown away. Obsessed with the categories and way they've built out their cocktail menu. Everything I tried I loved. The vibe was perfect and the bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful. We placed an appetizer order and never got it....didnt even care. Drinks are so good.

Went on a Saturday night with my girlfriend, we sat at the bar and everything was great! Our bartender was Tommy, he was so sweet and the drinks were amazing! Will definitely be coming back again soon:)

It's so exciting to have such an upscale cozy vibe nearby! The food and service are on point and the cocktails were wonderful. We will visit often!

I shared a caprese flatbread pizza and it was good. We do not recommend the reuben sandwich at all. It was filled with corn beef full of gristle! The ice water is disgusting! They need to install a filtration system. My husband had their peanut butter porter beer on tap. The taste was great. However, you received a 1/4 cup of beer and the rest was all foam. Our waiter was obviously new and tried real hard. He was friendly, checked on us in a timely manner after our food arrived and overall did a pretty good job. My only suggestion for him is to start clearing off dirty plates when people have finished their meal.

We were seated and received menus and water. I requested a pasta dish, my wife requested pizza, my mom a gyro, and my son a burger. As an appetizer, we requested bruschetta. I tried some beers from their brew wall - I love the concept. I ended up getting ciders as those were pretty good. A while later, our food was delivered. Unfortunately, my pasta dish lacked flavor. I ate most of it anyway, but was disappointed with my selection. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. We'll be back for more!
