Wine

Such a cute new place to try (: me and my friends came for a girls night and this was a great place!! Previously a Mexican restaurant, this new dive bar decided to focus on the wine aspect!! They have bottled wine, wine by the glass, and yes... DRAFT WINE!!!! They also have lots of options for food!!! They don't have a specific appetizer section, but we decided to share the chicken skins (kinda a chicharrón)!!! They were perfectly crunch! So good on their own but we got ranch to dip them in and they were even better!!! It was the perfect dish to share! My friends got the Hot Italian... I was lucky enough they let be get a bite and it was yummy!! The typical Italian sub you could get anywhere, paired with some fries!!! A good option to try!! I got the Wine Dive Burger!! It has two patties, and extra bun in the middle, and Brie as the cheese!!! IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!! The fig jam and onions made this burger top tier!! I will definitely be back to get this burger again!! I'm so happy this bar reopened into this cute little wine bar!! Definitely a cute date night or a girls night like we did!!

We went during burger night (monday!) it was $15 for a drink, burger, and fries. They give you a good amount of fries and the burger was double bunned, I had plenty of food and took 1/3 of the burger and fries as leftovers. The old fashioned was very yummy, I'm quite picky with my old fashioneds. The service was awesome! You seat yourself, we sat at the bar, and the bartender was very attentive and kind. The other bartender who wasn't serving us, talked to us, made jokes, gave us a taste of some free onion rings, really friendly vibes going on. The place is quite big, it has two bars, one large that curves through two different rooms. Plenty of table seating, looks like there's a small stage for potential live music/comedy/events. It has plenty of large TVs displaying whatever games are on. For the price and quick/kind service, it was a great time! We also got a bottle of wine, I'd like to try more of their wine selection but I do very much appreciate a big wine list in a more dive bar type of atmosphere. I'll be back to try the other deal nights that are available!

Great new spot from Dan Deagan, bringing back some of the vibes of the late, great Deagan's in downtown Lakewood (RIP). Wine Dive is a huge space with an expansive drink menu that includes on-tap beers AND wines, along with specialty cocktails. The food menu is a level up from standard casual bar food but still skews unhealthy; I'd love to see a few more not-fried and not-meat options, but overall, it's a great spot, and everything I've ever ordered has been delicious. I especially love it for a casual brunch: Go for the breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit or the Panko-breaded French toast sticks. Service is great when it's slow and a little bit more hit-or-miss when it's busy, so YMMV depending on when you go. But it's always a good place for a hang!

Way too loud. Sat at the bar and couldn't hear my husband next to me. It was 4:30 on a Thursday, not a lot of people there.

We found Forage through the Karpo app, and it turned out to be an excellent recommendation!…read moreFrom the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, welcoming, and well-maintained the restaurant was. They also had a gentleman playing live music, which added a great atmosphere and made the dining experience feel even more special. For food, we ordered the Cleveland Nachos, and wow--they were huge and absolutely delicious! We also tried the Vegan Hot in CLE Sandwich, which was unlike anything I've ever had before. It was packed with flavor and a truly unique dish that I would happily order again. The service was another highlight. The staff was fast, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome from start to finish. The only downside was the parking situation. Street parking is metered, which can be a bit inconvenient. However, we were able to find a spot just down the street, and the restaurant was only about a three-minute walk away. Overall, Forage exceeded our expectations. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We would return in a heartbeat!

(Not spicy if you don't like that) I also got the potato's as the side and they were perfectly crunchy!!!! I would've eaten a whole plate of those!! My friend got the chicken and waffles and loved them- ate the whole plate!!! My other friend enjoyed the chicken bacon club and love that's too! They have wonderful food options for everyone! And the atmosphere was great! Definitely will try this place again!

BEAUTIFUL PLACE…read more Wow, the architecture in there I really like it. I took some pictures. I think they will show up at the bottom of this review of what used to be the front door. Fascinating space. I looked it up. It used to be retail when it was built in the 30s, and then it was renovated in the 60s and now it looks like they took all three storefronts for the restaurant. I was sitting there admiring the Cherrywood floor and thinking what used to be here. That display window I wonder if it was a little department store. They were very busy, the bartender was working it! Nice guy. Outside was packed. That's where I wanted to sit, but I sat in the dining room. The Lamb burger was excellent, handcrafted almost like a lamb meatloaf but very firm like a burger. It was great. My brother had the pasta and he loved it. I had an old Forrester and one of the house beers and my brother had a house beer. The whole tab out the door was $97 for the two of us. Next time I'll make a reservation and try to sit outside on a nice day. Very nice place five stars.

Went to Sofia's Kitchen for Valentine's Day with a reservation. We were seated pretty quickly after…read morearriving. We waited briefly near the bar. It is not really set up as a standing or social bar space, but the wait was short so it was fine. The menu is fairly small but has some interesting selections. It feels curated, though limited. Service felt slightly off throughout the night. Our waiter's style felt more casual than the setting called for. The tone and pacing did not fully match a Valentine's dinner atmosphere. It is possible they were overwhelmed by the holiday rush, which may have contributed. I ordered the ribeye rare. It came out closer to medium. The steak itself was decent, but not cooked to request. It was served directly on top of vegetables with very little open space on the plate, which made cutting into it awkward. I also ordered the crispy potatoes as a side because they were described as crispy, but they were not crispy at all. Additionally, the steak already came with potatoes, which was not clearly stated on the menu, and the waiter did not mention it, so we ended up with a duplicate side unnecessarily. The cocktails were good and probably the strongest part of the meal. We had a couple and both were well made. Overall, it felt like a 3.5 star experience. Not bad, but not memorable. It is possible Valentine's Day volume impacted execution. There were solid elements, but not enough to make it somewhere we would actively plan to return to.
