Went for my boyfriend's birthday and he said this place was a 10/10! With daylight savings time it was dark as we were there and the warm lighting and wood interior makes it feel cozy and secluded. It gives subtle sexy. The wine storage looks grand too! I did not like my pumpkin spice tiramisu cocktail, ick but that's on me. I just found out through this experience I hate vanilla vodka :( Happy hour menu is 4-6 and some food is like $8 off. Feels like a good value. For elevated bar food it felt very expensive to me. Our bartender was great, was patient while we decided on cocktails and was helpful and knew the answers to our questions! Staff was prompt, kept our waters full, very good service as I reflect.

This was my first time at this location. I met with some friends and it was such a good time. The hostess was very kind and welcoming. I arrived before my friends and was invited to walk around and check the place out. It was clean and not too busy inside which was really nice. There is a patio area and it was well attended as this is probably our last nice weekend of 2025 in Cleveland. The food was delicious. I tried the fried chicken sandwich and truffle fries. There were no crumbs left. So very tasty. I will be back!

Had the BEST time with my girlfriends just before new years when we came to The Fairmount for a girls night get together. Our server, Tim, was very friendly and gave us great recommendations for fun cocktails, appetizers, and dessert. Our favorite rec was the made in house bread pudding, it was sensational and we still talk about it weeks later! The interior has a cozy and upscale feel with lots of seating, a fireplace, and dim lighting. We will definitely be coming back when all of us are in town again!

Dropped in for drinks and dinner on a Friday night and was not disappointed. Drinks and food were delicious. We arrived just a few minutes left in happy hour and grabbed our first round of beverages. My friends and I ordered the sesame crusted tuna as an appetizer, and it was delicious. Love the coating. For dinner each of us enjoyed our bowls. The spicy noodle bowl was delicious and I added chicken on top. It definitely does have some zest to it. Definitely a place to come back to, my only warning is that it does get a little loud when the place is full.

Visited this place from out of town. Customer service was great, out waiter was very helpful, food was even better and the atmosphere was comfortable. Next time I visit Cleveland, I will be coming back, there were other things on the menu items would like to try.

I saw someone post their tiramisu martini and thought that would be a delicious way to end the year so I decided to eat dinner here on New Year's Eve. I got there a little after four to be the New Year's Eve chaos. I got the tiramisu martini and the the chimichurri steak frites The martini was absolutely delicious it's $15 but I do think it's worth the price. I would definitely have one again. The chimichurri steak frites was pretty good flavor wise. I was a little disappointed because my food was not very hot at all. It was pretty Room tip, but I was super hungry and didn't want to take the chance of them reheating it and over cooking my steak so I ate it as is, which is why it only got four stars. I also got a slice of lemon cream cake to go I wish it was a little more tart It was pretty sweet. It also was frozen in the middle so that was a little disappointing

Super cute place, dimly lit ambiance.. Feels very intimate even when it's busy. Love that there's also mocktail selections. I ordered the Faux 75; great citrus flavor! We ordered the pierogis and a couple burgers. I cannot believe the flavor of those pierogis with the beef on top! Amazing! I will be thinking of them for awhile!! Amazing flavors and even better service. We will definitely be back.

Food was delicious and I can see why they're known for their cocktails. There's a ton of variety on their menu to satisfy anyone's tastes. It seems like the menu changes pretty frequently. I came in with an idea of what I wanted after looking at photos on Yelp. Nothing I saw was on the menu! But that's completely fine. My short rib and mushroom risotto was delicious. My partner had the chicken sandwich which was incredible crispy with great flavor. It was a pretty busy night when we came in but the restaurant is large enough to accommodate intimate date nights or larger, loud groups. There was a pretty long wait for food, so we actually missed our next event, but the manager checked in on us pretty frequently.

Love this place. Wish I could come every weekend. Never can go wrong drinks or food or just a good time. Servers are all so friendly and dang this place was packed even for a Tuesday!

We originally had the Fairmount recommended to us by my step sister while we were visiting Cleveland and we fell in love at first visit. This spot is open late and has delicious drinks and food. They have indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of seating options with high top tables, bar seating, regular tables and even more loungey seating. The bartenders and servers are always friendly and are happy to make suggestions and answer questions if you have them. We were so happy they are open late, we recently visited Cleveland for just one night on a Monday and we wanted to meet with friends after seeing family all day. We wanted a late night spot with great vibes and this spot is perfect. We also love that there's a parking lot behind this strip of businesses which makes it a lot easier to stop by. It can still get busy on more popular nights, but on a Monday at 10:30pm-ish we had no problem. This spot is the perfect vibe for me and our friends. very cool decorations, plant walls and lighting, great food and drinks and awesome service.

It's like a wine shop meets date spot. I've been here multiple times over the years for dates, solo evenings, and Cleveland Heights Neighborhood Beer Crawl. Wine Spot was a nice backdrop for all these days. INVENTORY: You'll find an entire long wall of various wines organized by the type of wine. You'll find Dom Perignon and wines under $35 coexisting in the same space. You'll also find beers, THC drinks, sake, and a lot more. You'll also find so much beyond wine - sardines, chocolate, and gift baskets. It's an ideal location to shop for gifts and build a basket. I don't have any particular recommendations. I usually ask staff for recommendations and gravitate toward white wines. Except during CLE Beer week I tried two different beers here - Executive Decision by the Butcher and the Brewer, Yakima Chief Forward from Fat Heads Brewery. AMBIANCE: Market vibes with tables and bar available for guests. The ambiance is nice, casual, quiet enough for a date. There is a lot of space for groups including a private room. SERVICE: Service is pretty friendly but tends to be slower. What I love about here is that they can chill wine bottles upon purchase. You can immediately go home with a chilled bottle of wine and get into your evening. Aside from this reason, there are plenty to do at the winery - events, monthly wine club, and more. Long story short, visit!

What an awesome find in Little Italy on a snowy, cold Cleveland night!…read more I had called ahead after doing some research via Yelp recommended eateries in this area that met my needs. I walked in to a perfect greeting and a private dining experience in an upscale setting with a professional team waiting on me! I had attended a concert at nearby Severance Hall and needed a late dinner that could accommodate a 915pm reservation which was met over the phone and in person with genuine and upscale hospitality. The dinner choice was easy - I asked for a recommendation and learned the special for the evening was veal - which is one of my favorites. I said yes and they immediately brought bread - warm with butter - a great crust on the outside and very tender/flaky on the inside. This was paired with a house salad and house dressing (Italian, of course). The salad had slices of radish and also strawberry with the greens. This meal also started by a Pasta Fagioli Soup that was excellent - just the right temp and brought was surprising speed along side the salad - surprising because it was efficient but not rushed and the temps of all were to perfection - as if they had been waiting on just little old me all night long - even though I know they had not been waiting on just me. It is obvious that they take their role seriously. They presented and provided a high quality, first rate, enjoyable and yet comfortable meal a priority. They deliver this with particular and notable expertise! Just look at that veal and the side pasta dish for the main course! Dinner was finished with a dessert of Tiramisu. This was the best Tiramisu I have ever enjoyed! I washed it down with a single shot espresso! The meal was Outstanding in every way! Bravo to the chef and the entire team! Marvelous! When I received my bill - I thought it was wrong! I even commented on it and asked to be sure. This entire meal was served fresh with detailed and excellent preparation and the best ingredients - served to perfection and the total cost was $39.12 with tax! I feel like I am robbing these people and I can tell you I left a solid tip! Amazing and awesome! I will return. I had not been there in a very long time maybe a couple of years I wanted to take my daughter for her birthday somewhere different As I remembered the Taste restaurant was still top of the line for a great cuisine the food was still amazing as I remembered two years ago Unfortunately , restaurants sometimes turn over for waiters or waitresses is frequent Unfortunately none of the great people that were there some years ago were there. But there was a very beautiful young lady who was the hostess quite gorgeous and a beautiful personality. Unfortunately the gentleman who was our waiter Did not have the personality for the job at hand He was very bland no conversation nothing to help or add to your experience to the restaurant I had raved to my daughter how fantastic this place was but I also told her it was 2 years ago. To me the wonderful waiters and waitress who attend I think it's important that they have a beautiful personality and outgoing with people because that's what they're going to be doing is working with all sorts of people and when you don't have that asset it makes it difficult in that field So unfortunately we did not stay long of course the meal the food was amazing as always but we were not made to feel warm or welcome at all from our waiter He just did the bare minimum come take our order come bring our food and very seldom did he come check to see if we were in need of anything else Maybe he was having a bad day but in life when you work certain jobs you need to know how to turn that off and turn on what you need to work or stay at home until your day is better. So I'm praying that if I ever go back there again I'll see some of the bubbly waiters and waitress who make your dining experience amazing. But as far as Taste the restaurant is still amazing the cuisine is fantastic the atmosphere was wonderful there was live music of a pianist who was amazing so that's still there. Peace n Blessings

I followed the rules -- their rules -- to the letter. I showed up on time. The hostess greeted me with an offer of the bar or a high top. I reminded her of my reservation and its stated requirements. What followed was not an apology, not a solution, not even an acknowledgment that a commitment had been made and broken. What followed was the punishment table -- the one tucked by the front door, the one that gets a gust of cold air every time it opens, the one they keep in reserve for walk-ins who couldn't be bothered to plan ahead. That table was my reward for planning ahead. The food is good. The service staff is attentive and professional. They are not the problem. The problem lives at the front of the house, where someone decided that a confirmed reservation with documented preferences was merely a suggestion -- and that a guest who politely insisted otherwise deserved to be seated accordingly. This is not a mistake. A mistake is forgetting to note a preference. What happened here was a choice -- to ignore the request, and then to seat me in a manner that made the power dynamic unmistakably clear. I was being told, without a word being spoken, that my preferences were an inconvenience. I won't be back. Not because of the food. Not because of the servers who do their jobs with grace. But because a restaurant that treats a reservation as an obligation only when it's convenient has made its values plain. My patronage apparently required more courtesy than they were prepared to extend. The food deserves better management. Lee Road deserves better options. You've been warned.
