Welcoming, welcoming efficient, crazy packed with a great wine and cocktail list, the servers are knowledgeable and friendly, offering suggestions and pairings. Service is quick, evenly spaced out appetite and entrees which is nice without being rushed. Having a reservation on a Saturday night is must. We came in ad s party of 4, thankfully we had reservations, the place was packed, the bar and restaurant were full. Once sat, our sever went over the cocktails and beer list, taking appetizer and shareable orders. Once the appetizers came out we put in for entrees and then dessert. Starting with the ceviche, incredible flavor with the tight touch of heat and citrus balance, almost made me wish I ordered 2 so I could have it as my entree as well. The chickpeas were perfectly seasoned with great texture. For our entrees we opted for the paperdale, house made, banh mi pork sandwich, a burger and the scallops. Went on a Sunday for brunch. Limited menu but interesting. The bacon is amazing, slightly sweet and crunchy. Tried something different and had a salmon BLT, and the salmon is shredded. It was delicious,, in a California style with thick wheat bread and avocado. Very different but I enjoyed it. I also substituted fries for Caesar salad side. They do that uniquely as well, each lettuce romaine leaf was saturated in the dressing instead of as a whole salad. So the presentation was very fun. But I also learned that they fresh press all of their juice and it's not overly priced, a $3 a glass. Many are charging much more. Not inexpensive for the entrees, but the quality and presentation is there. It is loud in there. It's very open warehouse and every conversation is echoing. Westsiders has been on my radar for a while, and I'm so glad I finally made it in. The space is super cute, classy yet comfortable. It's the kind of place that works for a night out with the girls or a corporate dinner, and I love a spot that can do both. I truly enjoyed my pasta dish. I'm not even usually into mushrooms, but I definitely was here. The only downside was that the service felt a little slow. It wasn't a particularly busy night, so the pace was a bit surprising. We stopped by Westsiders in Rocky River this past Sunday for brunch, located in the old Boca Taco spot. It's a great place to escape the summer heat -- cool, inviting, and with a laid-back atmosphere. The service was excellent, with staff who were friendly and attentive. As for the food, I went with the classic burger and fries, which hit the spot. My wife ordered the granola bowl with fresh fruit, which was light and refreshing -- a nice option for a brunch menu. So we also had some whipped Burrata cheese that was served with toast. Weird combo because as soon as the toast gets brought out, it's cold that eating with cold Burrata. I would maybe choose sub pita and veggies. My wife also thought the Burrata was quite garlicly I liked it. There was a decent selection of items to choose from, and while everything was solid, it felt like we just scratched the surface. This visit gave us a good first impression, but we definitely want to return during regular business hours to get a better feel for what Westsiders has to offer beyond brunch. Right now, it's a nice addition to the area, but I'm curious to see how it will set itself apart from other semi-upscale restaurants like Burntwood, nearby. First time trying this spot. We came around 7 on thursday- they had live music and a great atmosphere. The decor and vibe are relaxing and the service was top notch. We tried 3 different apps and 3 different entrees and the flavor profile was out of this world. The hot sauce for the wings was the best flavor ive ever had. I want to give 5 stars because the playlist and vibes of the restaurant are great, but the food was a bit hit and miss. We started with the meatball app and it was the star or the meal, made me regret not getting a pasta dish as my main because clearly they know Italian. But the ricotta app wasn't as much of a hit, it lacked a little flavor. For mains, my husband got the banh mi and it was huge and the roll alone was divine. Attentive and professional server with good app suggestions had us off to a good start. Nice room with garage door style windows that opened for fresh air (and then closed because it was too cold...right away!). Menu is a little small and pretty aggressively priced -- this is suburban Cleveland, not Manhattan. Big portions, though. Caesar salad kind of disappointing (and no anchovies?!) - small and undistinguished. As for entrees: two pastas were well received. The airline chicken (I know it's the cut of chicken...but why do they call it that in a restaurant...has anyone, ever, said "I want the chicken prepared just like it was on that last flight ?") was literally twice as big as we had expected, if a little dry and a little bland. My friend and I ordered a few appetizers (free fried chickpeas tossed in ranch seasoning, the wings, and the whipped ricotta dip - all very good) and we each got an entree (her, a pasta dish with buratta on top & me, the burger) When I tell you the burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had, it truly was. Made a reservation for three Friday night and I would recommend because it was full that night. Nice ambiance with colors of green that pair with the wood well. Seating in the main area is the best location and the booth was quite comfy. They do have some TVs for any major games that may be playing but I also enjoy their cooking shows they play on TV. Carrots and ricotta is a must! I loved the pistachios and the ricotta was so fluffy it didn't even taste like ricotta but more like salty whipped cream. Pork chop was a favorite, perfectly cooked and juicy with the cream sauce being a highlight making it a perfect bite. Cauliflower steak came with excess hummus for those hummus lovers. Pasta was large and not too oily or rich which I appreciated. I love the combination of mushroom and broccolini. Wasn't a huge fan of the stuffed peppers mainly because they weren't what I was expecting. I'm used to large peppers with more meat and this was rhetorical opposite. We made it with at least a week's notice, but hours before our reservation was set to begin, we got a message via OpenTable saying they don't have high chairs. Sorry, but... wtf? This is a chill, laidback-vibes, family-friendly-seeming restaurant in a strip mall area of the suburbs. And they... don't have high chairs? AND couldn't tell us with any more advance notice than that? We could've made do and brought out travel folding chair for our 11mo son, but on principle, we switched our reservation elsewhere -- which was pretty disappointing given that I'd picked this spot for my first Mother's Day ever. Cool. I'm sure I'll be back to Westsiders for future happy hours or brunches. Their food is perfectly good, and I like the atmosphere. Dinner, 8/15/25, from about 7-10pm I arrived late to my party, and they were all 2 drinks ahead of me. I personally liked the bolognese but wish the portion was a bit bigger for $25. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente. Glad we went with the orange cake as it was yummy. The affogato helped seal our dinner. There was a bit of miscommunication with our service, but the manager quickly addressed it. Our server was friendly and prompt. Food came out timely and was delish. Overall, it was a great experience. The only downside is the portion size. Fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious. I have to be gluten free and the server was very knowledgeable. I tried their salmon on a bed of steamed greens, covering with an amazing butter sauce. I really felt it was the most delicious salmon I've ever eaten. Everyone else at our table loved their food too. Especially those who ordered the scallops.
