Brassica truly is a delicious as people make it out to be. The service at this location is always top tier. I'm always greeted warmly immediately upon entering and they really make you feel like you're taken care of from the start of your visit until you leave. The place is always clean and the decor is very modern feeling but cozy. I usually get the chicken grains and greens bowl with all the fixing. The roasted veggies and pickled cucumbers and radishes really elevate the fast casual meal and the chicken is super well seasoned. I rarely get the fries because the bowl is big enough, but I will never deny myself a chocolate chip tahini cookie. Probably one of the best restaurant chocolate chip cookies out there.

We were recommend this spot by a bunch of contractors in the area. We have pretty high Mediterranean food standards and I will say this place met it! It was a fast food like restaurant. The menu is right as you walk in on the left. We got a chicken bowl with falafel side and a cookie. We got our falafel so hot it wasn't able to hold together for a bit! It was an amazing. The pita was also nice and fluffy and we enjoyed the plate with chicken. We would definitely come back for a quick meal!

I've been loving this place that I find myself craving it every now and then. I usually get the bowls, sometimes add a pita on the side. All the proteins are flavorful and tender but my favorite would have to be the brisket. I've also heard of the falafel being some of the best that my friends have had. Tried the cauliflower soup--creamy and filling for colder days. Definitely appreciate how they have a well portioned and balanced kids meal too with a protein, rice/lentils, hummus, and pita. Plenty of seating inside or you can take the food to-go to eat at other tables in Van Aken. The line can be pretty long so I've been finding myself ordering online to-go, for which there can still be a 5-10 min wait after you show up. I'd recommend that you check all your items are there since my fries have been forgotten in the past. The parking is free and there are parking spots just for online pick up or you can park in the free Van Aken parking garage. For curbside pick up, there are a few parallel parking spots right by the door.

Soooo good! Mediterranean bowls & pitas, like Cava, except they also have fries dusted with the perfect seasoning. In fact, everything was seasoned well! The brisket and eggplant are a lil spicy which I didn't expect, but it was a pleasant surprise... The creaminess of the hummus and the tangy pickled veggies tamed the heat. The lentils & rice are very flavorful and the greens appear to be very lightly dressed with citrus which makes them sooo tasty! Service was friendly, efficient, and prompt. I will definitely revisit this healthy and delicious fast casual restaurant while here in Ohio.

Excellent casual spot in Cleveland! Great value; got two full meals out of my bowl. Love that I'm able to choose a ton of different fun, interesting options to add. My personal favorite addition was the eggplant. Great sauces and the pita was excellent too.

5/5 one of the best fast casual Mediterranean style meals I've ever had. This tops Naya and cava that we have in NYC. Each ingredient is seasoned and cooked individually, providing the most flavor and tasty profile. Their chicken is extremely flavorful and definitely my top pick. I came here twice in the span of 1 week's time in Cleveland and will definitely return.

This place redefines flavor! The salad bowl is my go to choice being able to choose from add the toppings is an endless adventure of mixing spices and textures. The falafel is AMAZING! Not to mention the cookies, fries, and house sauce are all fantastic.

Always a good stop to have. Got a bowl with brisket and chicken cutes and special & hot sauce. Line was short got right in and out. A cool lunch spot warm and inviting.

Completely fell in love with this place. I always passed it while driving but today I decided to go in. I had the pita sandwich and I was in awe. Fresh ingredients, and plenty of food choices. It doesn't seem as if they give you a lot,but once they finish putting all your ingredients together you may have left overs. I highly recommend this place and I'll be back

Falafel
Dimpie S.

Excellent service! Staff is friendly and kind. They give extra toppings and even gave us fresh pita and falafel when we didn't want the older ones. They explained the menu so well! Plentiful seating in a great shopping mall area. The food was fantastic. No complaints at all. Definitely a hidden gem in Cleveland and wish it were a chain restaurant. You're missing out if you don't eat here!

Prices are comparable to prices at any other metropolitan spot. I'm obsessed with their Papa sub. It has prosciutto de Parma, Brie, wild arugula, local honey, and toasted pistachio. It tastes like eating a tasty charcuterie, so fresh and delish. Another favorite is rice pudding. It's so gooey and tasty. Every sub I tried here tastes extremely fresh and has quality ingredients. The bread, the meat, and the ingredients. Consistently delicious. It's a quality you'd expect at a restaurant, not a deli. For a discounted price of about $9, I came home with 4 delicious baked goods and a mini baguette about an hour before they closed for the day. Note: $9 is way less than what you will normally pay for these 5 items. They average around $4 each. I got a savory scone, a massive cookie, a mini baguette, an apple muffin, and a huge cinnamon roll. I ate the cinnamon roll nearly right away once I got home. The cinnamon roll with cream cheese ($6) was SOOOOO moist and decadent! I warmed it up for a few seconds and then enjoyed one of the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. The vanilla and cinnamon were very prominent. Definitely a calorie bomb though. I shared the other sweet treats with my sister the next day and we agreed that the next best item was the muffin. I should also mention that the staff member that helped me that afternoon was very nice and most likely the owner. He was very helpful in explaining what each item I got in my box was and also in helping me decide on a gift for a friend I was about to see soon. I bought my friend a box of locally made teas for about $14 and she loved them! I definitely hope to come back here soon (once I have worked off the pounds from this most recent visit haha)!

The sister location is in Cleveland Heights. This stand is an easy destination for quick coffee, tea, pastries, and breads! Tea/Coffee: Good and quick. Nothing notable. Visit the neighboring stand Rising Star for an elevated cup of coffee. Sandwiches: Breakfast sandwiches (when available) are so yummy! You can add on bacon or sausage (not both). They are prepped very quickly and have the freshest bun. Must order! I will say that they're a little pricey ($9 and $2.50 extra if you want to add bacon or sausage). Bread/pastries: The case is usually full of different pastries. Croissants are really good here but light on filling. Breads are hit or miss. On some days they are very dry, at the start of the week much better. Service: Always pleasant and quick. Usually your order is taken care of before interaction with the next customer. This keeps things moving along very efficiently. Seating: After you order, you can sit at the Market Hall or on the patio. Lots of seating choices - tables, couches, high tops, and booths. The University Circle location is probably the one I've been to most often. I heard they were under new management but didn't think much about it since they're all franchises of the Original Chagrin Falls location and even with different owners the quality, in my experience, has been pretty consistent. When we stopped in it looked like the same store I've known and loved over the years and I ordered my two favorites- the Original and the Crazy (the best IMO) We took them to go and I could barely wait to dig in. The first thing I noticed as I unwrapped the Original was there was no pickle- I thought it may have fallen out but after unwrapping both and checking the bag and floor I realized they didn't add them. Was this an oversight or has management 86ed the pickles!? That was a small disappointment for sure. The sandwiches also looked a bit smaller than I remember, and I have a lot of pictures over the years to compare them to- I chalked it up to inflation, a lot of things are getting smaller as they rise in price. Then I bit into it and the crispy bread was just not it. The bread was still good, but not cooked enough. Usually pieces of it flake off as you eat and you get the crispy outside with the fluffy, fresh inside. The juxtaposition of texture is part of what makes these sandwiches my favorite. It was soft bread with the amazing sauce, lettuce, tomato meats and banana peppers on the Original- still tasty but not what I've come to expect over the 25 years I've been eating these subs. The staff was friendly and they have the indoor and outdoor seating still, but they might want to do some quality control on the sandwiches they're sending out to customers. I wish I had time during my visit to stop by the Chagrin Falls location to compare and see if it's franchise wide or just this location. To the business, I hope the undercooked bread and lack of pickles was just an off moment. Please keep the original amazing quality going. To people looking to try Dave's, it's still so delicious and I recommend buying sauce to use at home. I got three bottles to bring back to California and I'll be using it on everything.

So I ate it with a knife and fork. And it was DELICIOUS. The sandwich came with a big piece of crispy fried chicken that the bun could barely contain. The chicken was fried fresh, so it was hot and juicy. In addition to being hot in temperature, it was hot spice-wise. It came with candied jalapeños, soy chili jam, pickles, and Sriracha. The spice was balanced well with some nice sweetness and a tasty kale slaw that added some brightness to the sandwich. Even the bun itself was delicious. I chose hot honey sauce because I was curious. It was so spicy and cleaned my sinuses right up. The sauce came on the side, thank goodness for that. The muffin was OK.
