Falafel
Maricar G.

One month old! This place replaced the former Tarboosh and is standing talll! I ordered the Bylo mix plate which included gyro, chicken, rice, tomato, lettuce and special white sauce. It reminds me of the Halal guys chain in NYC but not at their level. The falafel was was huge hit! It's got spice, tremendous crunch and packed full of flavor. The accompanying cucumber sauce was a little thin. Easy parking and friendly staff: will definitely return

Rice bowl

I have gone here a few times and it has been very consistent. I get the rice bowl and it is very delicious. It can be a bit saucy but I don't mind. Their gyro meat is not gluten free but all in all, it's a great new spot.

Regular size Gyro
Darla G.

So i picked up a large gyro and a regular. Honestly for $3 more for large i couldn't really tell. But either way there was a lot of meat. Unwrapped at home and it was oily not sure why unless they warm it up on yje grill. My sauce was plain white oily sauce. Glad I paid for 2 sides of sauce. Otherwise it would have ruined my gyro. Otherwise ok. Very plain tasting. I can only say I have had better, but this is not the worse.

Asked for extra sauce. Got No sauce, just a ton of grease.

My husband and I had lunch at Tropical Bay Latin Cuisine on Friday and it was fantastic! We each…read moreordered mojitos, he had the lime and I had the passion fruit and both were absolutely excellent and so refreshing. For food, we shared two appetizers and honestly could have made a meal out of them. The Dominican Flag was incredible: crispy fried plantains, perfectly melty fried cheese, Dominican salami and smoky longaniza, all topped with pickled red onions that added the perfect zing. Every bite was packed with flavor and felt like true comfort food. We also loved the Loaded Yuca Balls; crispy golden yuca stuffed with cheese and topped with roasted pineapple, jalapeños, sour cream, and bacon. The combination of sweet, spicy, cheesy, and savory was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was great. We'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Tropical Bay is a great spot if you're looking for Dominican and Puerto Rican cuisine. The décor is…read moresuper cute and has a fun, welcoming vibe. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and did a great job throughout our meal. I ordered the Garlic Chimichurri Shrimp. While the shrimp was cooked well, it had a pretty fishy taste that just wasn't for me, and I wasn't a fan of the cilantro aioli. Several people in our group really liked the pineapple dressing, though, so I'd definitely give that a try if I went back. Next time, I'd order a different entrée because there were several other dishes that looked delicious. The only thing that felt a little off was when we first walked in. The gentleman at the front just stared at us without greeting or acknowledging us, which was a bit intimidating. It wasn't a huge deal, but a simple "Hi, we'll be with you in a moment" would have made for a warmer first impression. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd definitely return to try something different on the menu. I also had the flan, which was pretty good and the Tropical Bay House which was tasty! ,
