Had our favorite Gyros today. Mike, the owner always takes special care of us. The meat is grilled the to crisp it for us. The taziki sauce is fresh made and even the small version of their Gyros are loaded with meat. Crunchy perfect fries served hot. My son always has some of his favorite chicken tenders. Nice little touches like seasonal salt and pepper shakers. They recently added some items to their menu. Also we recent had one large gyro Split and deconstructed. Fun stuff Best gyros! Best Middle Eastern meal we've had since Tarboosh closed their fabulous eatery in Parma over a year ago. Mezza's falafel is out of this world -- properly spiced, crispy on the outside and moist in the middle. Their red-pepper hummus is flavourful and creamy with a delightful hint of graininess and served with fresh, warm pita bread. The dining area is spacious and clean and the counter service friendly and accommodating. This could well be the finest Middle Eastern restaurant in Northeast Ohio. I think Mezza has picked up a couple new regulars. read more

Still here finishing up dinner. I had the Fatoush salad with gyro. My wife had the shawarma wrap. We split a bowl of Avgolemono. I really enjoyed the salad and soup. My wife was an 8 on the wrap. She enjoys the dharma at a nearby middle eastern market a few miles south of here. She gauges all shawarmas to theirs‍. The salad was quite fresh, crispy, with subtle flavors of spice. Dressing was the best. I'd buy it if they sold it. A lamb worth of gyro on top, a 10 for me. Soup was good and hot, wished for more lemon taste and more and larger chunks of chicken, this had more pea sized pieces. I'd give it a second try for sure. read more

I haven't been to Mezza in a while. I love their Gyro's. Yesterday I really had a taste for one, so the only place to get a delicious Gyro was Mezza. They never fail with the freshness of the vegetables and well-seasoned not salty and meat their tzatziki sauce is amazing. Overall, it's a must try. You will be hooked. I was too greedy no pictures. read more

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Daughter loves the non meat menu options. Always get takeout but atmosphere of restaurant seems inviting for a sit down meal. Staff is always super friendly. read more

This was our first visit to Mezza Mediterranean Cuisine and the menu had bowls, wraps, apps, soups and salads. We got the appetizer sampler that included 4 apps for $20 - the hummus, tabouli, and spinach pie were good. The babaganoush was a little "soupy". We also got the kibbie and fatoush which were perfect and freshly made. Food was ready quickly and there was plenty of seating available. Total cost was $49, which was a little more than expected for salad and apps but Service and food were good. read more

Rice plate/Kafta Plate. Super phenomenal, and super fresh. Coming from metropolitan ny area. Really good use of spices and packed with flavor. Super fresh!! Everything made in house. I'm a huge stickler for hummus, the hummus is homemade and they use tahini sauce, which is an absolute must when making hummus. Great service too. Highly recommend! Ambience is nothing crazy, but you can tell that they prioritize the quality and the taste of the food. Family approved, nice relaxing, seating area outside. read more

I am Lebanese and have been eating great Lebanese food for a lifetime. My mother-in-law who was born and raised in Lebanon, along with my mother and many Lebanese relatives, could make great fattoush salad. The classic dressing for fattoush salad is fresh lemon juice, fresh mashed garlic and olive oil. No sugar or sweetener is added to this traditional Lebanese dressing. NONE. I ordered your fattuoush salad this evening and was unable to eat it due to the sweetness - because of the added sugar. That sweetness destroyed the entire salad. (I did place a phone call to you regarding this sweetness of the dressing and someone in your kitchen confirmed that sugar is added to the dressing.) I hope you will eliminate the sugar in this dressing in the future. I will inquire about this before ordering your fattoush again. I just placed a call to Sitto's Lebanese restaurant and asked if they added any sugar to their fattoush dressing. They DO NOT. From now on I'll stick with Sitto's for fattoush salad unless I make it myself. read more

Friendly staff and good fresh food. Got a junior gyro and a chicken wrap (Shistawook) both were great! Their menu had a lot of options

Awesome food, great service and wonderful experience. Very clean and the staff was very nice.

'Mezza' is a NE Ohio gem, with superb mouth watering Middle Eastern & Mediterranean food (entrees, soups, salads, sides, desserts)! We had a gyro, spanakopita, avgolemono soup, and a chocolate bomb dessert. All were 'to die for' tasty! My only minor observance is that their spanakopita does not have any feta cheese in it, which to me, is 'sacrilege'! It's still really good, but feta in the spanakopita would bring it to a whole other level. Love the casual and laid back dining area as well. No servers here (I prefer this), but they do bring the food to your table initially. Great place! read more

Phenomenal spot! Great gyro, nice little place. I highly recommend. People there were very friendly, place was very clean. Best part! The gyro! If it's not fresh off a rotisserie, I don't want it. Meza did not disappoint! read more

Super nice people. We stopped in at 6:55, not realizing the closed at 7. They were super accommodating. My wife and I split most everything. To find the best Mediterranean food in Northeast Ohio, you have to go to Mezza Mediterranean. All the Mediterranean food is excellent, but Mezza has the best Gyro in the city. I had the pleasure recently of having Mezza cater a party and the food/menu was wonderful & everything delicious. Ordet was ready when promised. Upon pick up I realized it was beautifully put together so all I had to do was put it out when I arrived back at my house. In addition to great food Mezza is owned by wonderful local people. Eat in, take out or have catered ... you won't be disappointed !! read more

Great food. My wife and I had a gyro salad handcrafted by the owner. She made a beautiful salad with nice greens not just romaine and the homemade sauce was out of this world. The gyro meat was thick cut with a little crisp on one side cooked to perfection. I love eating at small local establishments and this one deserves your attention. If I was local I would eat here more often. They also have a little store attached and have some spices that I have had a hard time finding in larger quantities without paying an arm and a leg. read more

What a great find, in a nondescript strip mall! The owners told me they'd been there for more than a dozen years. I brought a bunch of co-workers for our monthly foodie adventure, and this spot did not disappoint. We shared a few dishes around the table along with gyros for each of us. For starters, we had stuffed grape leaves, roasted red pepper hummus and baba ghanouj. The stuffed grape leaves were served warm with a dill yogurt sauce that was a perfect compliment to the lemony lamb and rice stuffing. Both the roasted red pepper hummus and baba ghanouj were slightly chunky and spiced just right, served with cut-up pita bread. The gyros were huge and delicious with twice-grilled meat and a great, tangy tzatziki sauce. The meat carved off of the spit was placed back on their flattop grill to put a slight char on them and to warm the meat back up. Unique idea for a gyro I had never seen before. They also gave us a plate of complimentary pickled vegetables that were super-briny yet crispy and were a nice addition to the meal. Super-friendly owners, fresh-made food and dishes to share...a great experience all around. We will be back! read more

1st visit 4 years ago. Quality and clean. I saw a lot of take out coming and going as I was trying to decide. But the owner Mona always personable and helpful. Compared to other medeteranian shops some of the items here are higher in. cost. But if you are not buying in bulk for hoke, then don't worry about it. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ever ordered or had suggested to me. However very recently when I drove quite a waycto get there it was still clean and efficient, but more people working there and they were not as accommodating to what I had ordered.( like where's Mona ,I'm thinking) Still good though . read more

Can't believe I've been missing this place this whole time! Heard about this place from Riya's salon, let me just say the gyro meat is delicious it's so flavorful and authentic. I ordered the gyro salad and asked for rice on top also. It is so good the stuffed grape leaves with garlic sauce was delicious the leaves were tender and perfect. I also ordered the torshi it's pickled vegetables and it tastes like the torshi my Persian grandma makes! This place is a gem! Definitely my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant. You can dine in or takeout which is what I did. I can't believe how authentic everything tasted. The Mast-o-Khiar (cucumber yogurt dip) was great with the mint in it, I put it on the salad it's amazing. Staff was helpful and friendly definitely a must try if you like Persian food. read more

I am from California, but Ohio is like a second home for me as I visit here often. The trip all the way from Columbus to Westlake was worth it to visit this Med. restaurant. This is the very best Med. cuisine that I have ever experienced in the Midwest and I have been all over. (Seriously, I have visited most every Med. cuisine restaurant in the geographical area). Food is fantastic beyond words, the owners are angels, and the place is super clean. Come one or come all. This is about as good as it gets. read more

I ordered takeout from Mezza. The Mediterranean Nachos were fresh and delicious with just the right amount of 'kick' to them. I had just learned about this establishment through the reviews of fellow yelpers, and their reviews are spot on! I was really surprised to see that besides being an eatery they also have a small section of their store set up as a grocery. Basically, it's a few coolers stocked with their wonderful hummus, baba ganoush, tabouli, and other freshly prepared products. You can get all of your basic greek/mediterranean fixings like grape leaves, feta, and a really impressive selection of ground spices. They have a wonderful array of desserts to stuff down your gullet, too. Now onto the food. The gyro I ordered was really good. Great portion size, and the tzatziki sauce was heavenly! You can tell they use the very freshest of yogurt to make this sauce. (I ended up going back the following day and buying a tub of it in the grocery section!) I had also ordered the baba ganoush, and it had a great creamy consistency of pureed eggplant and scrumptious garlicky goodness. While waiting for my food I was able to strike up a conversation with one of the proprietors and she explained to me that everything is done on the premises - save for some of the packaged/imported foods. And there's no denying her claim either. I was even able to take a peak into the kitchen, and it was immaculately spotless. Always a great sign. My next visit will focus explicitly on the falafal - and you can bet that there'll be an update from me on those. While the dining area isn't anything to write home about as it consists of some tables with plastic table covers the main point to keep in mind is that you're there for the food. The food here is the star. By the time I was walking out the door I couldn't help be feel like I was parting ways with a new extension of my family. Wonderful people making wonderful food. And at the end of the day those are the main ingredients to any amazing meal. read more

Absolutely delicious and fresh Mediterranean food! The gyros are huge, flavorful, and filled to capacity! I really like their stuffed grape leaves and fresh hummus and taboleh! So fresh and seasoned just right. I've never had a bad meal here and I've always left with a full belly! Mezza is more of a fast casual type of restaurants - you place your order at the counter and pay, grab a drink from the cooler behind you, have a seat and they'll bring your fresh food out to you. Service with a smile! :) The owner's name is Mona and she's sweet as can be! The employees are very nice and make you feel welcome. I've been coming here for years and I've never had a bad meal here. This is our favorite gyro location. For 15+ years. However, I won't be back anytime soon. While I was there today for the first time in months): Mona had no mask or gloves on, nor did the two older men who came in behind me. No 6 foot safety spacing! Except for the checkout table! Mask-less man #1 was right next to me at the checkout table, he had to wedge himself in to get some coffee from the Keurig machine before I managed to check out. Selfish ass. I was angry and very uncomfortable. Who declared the pandemic over and the all clear at Mezza? So disappointed. May 29, 2020. read more

You can very easily drive by and not know this gem of a place exists. That's exactly what I've done for many years until I discovered it by word of mouth. Let me tell you, if you are craving for as close to an authentic gyro on the west side, this place is a must visit. Other awesome flavors include the Hummus gyro. This is the combination of two of the best items they have - Hummus & Gyro. By foregoing the 'show-sha' and fancy decor, Mezza offers the fire works effect for your culinary taste buds. while you wait peruse the Greek & Egyptian themed paintings on the wall and the mini-market style food isle. For goodness sake bring some of their in store made Hummus home. read more

You can easily miss this store when you drive by. It sits off the road and is somewhat hidden and i probably have driven past 1000's of times. I only found them on Google while looking for nearby mediterranean food. The food was fantastic and priced well. The gyro was a meal in itself. I chose to dine in and was treated very well. The place is very clean and the staff was very competent and friendly. The red pepper hummus was quite tasty as were the stuffed grape leaves. Yes, I would highly recommend. read more

I have been here a couple of times. Kind of hidden in the back of a nondescript strip mall. All of the gyros are large and very good. Overstuffed. I have never had the "jumbo" and the regular one is huge. Made to order, but it takes just a few minutes. Was "jonesing" for a gyro this time and they delivered! Very happy. Order and pay at the counter and sit down at a table to be served or take a carry out. read more

What a gem of a Mediterranean Restaurant! My wife and I dined there tonight and was graced with a fine conversation with Mona, the owner and Chef. We were filled in on the 13 year history of this family restaurant, and could not believe that it had slipped by us all that time! I had the Mezza Gyro (pictured) and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma. Both were outstanding! The first thing you will notice about the Mezza Gyro is the amount of thick sliced gyro meat included. It would be a meal for 2 or 3 at other restaurants. It is perfectly seasoned, and the Tzatziki Sauce compliments with the freshness of the tomato, red onion and lettuce. A fresh pita wraps it all up. The restaurant is counter service with an open kitchen where you get the bonus of seeing Chef Mona practicing her art. Table seating is available after ordering. They have a few display racks with hard to find Mediterranean spices and ingredients. A nice touch for some of us trying to master this cuisine at home. You will not be disappointed at Mezza! read more

Good Mediterranean food for reasonable prices! The hummus was a bit more bitter than I like, but the food was overall very good. I got a hummus chicken with tahini and tzatziki sauce on the side. My better half got a spicey wrap of some sort (chicken) that she really liked. The dining room was clean and open. I enjoyed sitting and relaxing for a few minutes during lunch. Our food was brought to our table - nice touch! Overall, I would say that this is a great place for lunch on a fairly small budget. read more
