People, I'm being serious here. I love Brassica's falafel sandwich. I love everything about it; the warm, soft pita, the crunchy fresh made falafels, the sauce and veggie add-in options (I usually go Baba and eggplant). Tip- whatever option the sandwich maker suggests just say yes :) Pile it in....the pita can handle it! Every bite is delicious. The sandwich is built so every bite captures a little of everything. The happiest part of my day is knowing I'm going to eat at Brassica. The saddest part of my day is staring at the last bite knowing it's over....no more. I can't tell you how the other options are at Brassica with exception of the fries...a nice addition to the sandwich with the garlic mayo sauce. I'm confident whatever you choose will be a winner but I command you to go with the falafel sandwich first! I'll be back.....just not soon enough.
The food here is always so freaking good!!! All fast food should take a lesson from brassica. Their pita is made fresh and they have nutritious quality side dishes such as cauliflower and beets. Their price is extremely reasonable considering they don't use cheap ingredients. Their seasoning is so on point that I don't even ask for the complimentary sauces. Filling and healthy. What more could you want!
I am absolutely obsessed with Brassica. My husband and I always go when we are in Columbus but visited this location while in town visiting family in Cleveland. The people working there are so friendly and the food is amazing. The pita is extremely fluffy and all the toppings are fresh and packed with flavor. I always get the salad with both hummus and baba, and all of the veggies- especially love the roasted carrots and eggplant. The chocolate chip cookies are delicious too. Wish they would come to Pittsburgh!
This was our first time in brassica after many recommendations from friends, we'll definitely be back! The staff were friendly talking us through the options and the food was so fresh and tasty. The vibe inside was also much nicer than tradition fast casual. We loved the falafel and can't wait to try the chicken and other sauces!
We came in at 9:30 and for the most part people were very nice about it. There was one shaggy haired guy who kept making comments under his breath which a tad bit uncomfortable but everyone else was super nice. I got a hummus plate on accident (it's literally a plate of hummus with toppings) and I don't even usually like hummus like that but this was phenomenal. I added all the toppings possible and also chicken. All the toppings are fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the cucumbers and radish which had the perfect amount of vinegar sharpness and crunch to balance out the meal. I do think one pita isn't enough for the amount of hummus so I took it home and had it with fresh cucumber slices and it was divine. I also tried the chicken pita sandwich which was yummy but I think next time I would get a salad plate. I also tried the fries which were fried nicely and seasoned wonderfully. Would highly recommend!
Loved it! The food was so good that I forgot to take a photo before finishing my meal. Everything was incredibly fresh, quick, and reasonably priced. The staff member who helped my family was also especially kind and attentive, and I appreciated how patient she was when walking us through all the food options. Overall, the food was a huge crowd pleaser and not a single dish was left unfinished. The tahini chocolate chip cookies were an unexpected surprise - they're perfectly warm and gooey with a nutty, rich flavor. I'm still dreaming about them. Even my parents, who rarely care for sweets, raved about them as well. Overall this is a great fast casual restaurant with delicious, healthy, and satisfying food. Brassica, please open a location in NJ!
Love Brassica! It's a Mediterranean version of Chipotle and always hits the spot. My favorite toppings are their falafel, pickled cakes, eggplant and cauliflower. Love their sauce options as well. Brassica is our go to in the area for a quick healthy meal. The food is fresh and the service is very quick. Many people must feel the same way because there is a line very often. We generally get take out, but this time we decided to dine in. The dining room was clean and even though I had to wait for my salad it was not long. The staff definitely keep the line moving. It is crazy to see them making the bread. They are ver efficient. Speaking of bread. I could eat the bread every day. It is a circle of goodness and even better when it is warm.
Pro Tip: Try Brassarita (minty pink lemonade + top shelf spirits)! I visited Brassica over the weekend, and it was honestly a great experience from start to finish. Let's just be honest that initially I was on my way to McDonalds but was lured in by the glowing Brassica sign. The space is clean and inviting, with a modern vibe that's both casual and upscale. It's dim lit and could very well compete with a nice restaurant. It's much more posh than Van Aken location (more spacious too)! There's colorful artwork on the walls that adds a nice local touch, and the staff was friendly. They were also friendly with guests behind me that were there for the first time. I ordered a bowl and loaded it with all kinds of toppings that were generously served. The line moved very quickly and efficiently. Both the bowl and the pita were delightful, super fresh. I was surprised because I was there on a Sunday night around 8 PM. I'd expect for the food quality to be declining but it was not. Let me reiterate, the house-made pita was fresh and warm! Order it! This Brassica offers drinks, wine, and even margaritas. I haven't seen margarita at other Brassicas. I was floored when they asked to chill the wine for the couple dining in. I wouldn't expect it at Brassica. I liked the vibe so much that I also dined in. The restaurant is very spacious and comfy. It's definitely the kind of spot where you can grab a quick, satisfying meal without sacrificing quality. I'd highly recommend it for later evening Sunday food cravings.

The order process was slightly overwhelming, even for some on who had been there, but the staff made every effort to explain things simply and help us order. The food was outstanding! The diverse flavors, textures and colors made the meal enjoyable to nearly all of my senses! The dining area was well lit, until about 7:30p when the lights dimmed, making it feel a bit like a wine bar. The decor lacked direction, but felt like an attempt at elevating the space in order to justify pricing. Takeaway: give me this food in a chipotle sized que and pass the decor saving on to the customer. (Will get better pics next time!)

Then you can choose between adding hummus or baba ganoush. Then add a crunchy topping - pita chips or crispy onions. Next add your star of the show which is brisket, chicken, falafel, or pickled vegetables. Then you can add from your choice of pickled veggies - beets, cabbage, cukes, and radishes. Next choose your sauce - they have for option. I suggest the special sauce. You can also add feta cheese. Lastly, roasted veggies - eggplant, cauliflower + jalapeños, and carrots. I always go for a salad or bowl. I typically get the chicken but my most recent visit I got the brisket salad at friend's suggestion. I added baba ganoush - they have some of the best baba. I added pita chips for a nice crunch to my salad. Then beets, cukes + radishes, their special sauce, feta. It was so delicious and flavorful - definitely hit the spot! Don't forget a tahini chocolate chip cookie and a minty pink lemonade. The service is always quick and the staff is always friendly. I'm so happy they opened this location because it's so close to me!

Had dinner with my boyfriend here tonight, we both enjoyed our meals. I had a falafel sandwich with fresh veggies and lemon tahini sauce and he had a brisket sandwich. We shared a serving of fresh fries that were right out of the fryer. The staff here is super nice and friendly, explained the whole process as it was our first time eating there. We will definitely be back.

Omg yum! This place was so tasty and fresh! This restaurant is located in a plaza across Crocker park. There's plenty of parking. It's a casual type place, sort of chipotle style. You pick either a sandwich (which is what we got), a salad, or a humus plate. Then you pick your protein. When you go up to order, you pick which toppings and sauce you want too. It was so good! I was impressed. And very filling! The fries were also tasty. The cookie though, I would skip. And all the employees were so nice and friendly! Oh, and there's also a little patio too! read more

I love everything about Brassica, but especially the falafel with their hot sauce. Everything is fresh and delicious, with bright and bold Mediterranean flavors. The hummus is also a favorite. I love a salad bowl with greens, hummus, falafel, special sauce, pickled cabbage + extra carrots. Don't sleep on the tahini chocolate chip cookies, either. Staff is all so nice when you go through the line to order your food. The restaurant is sparkling clean with a really patio area aside from the abundant seating inside. It's a favorite stop when I'm in the area for work. read more

I'm in town from LAs Vegas and I was totally blown away. The food prices were great and one of the best meals I have had since being in town. The service was great everyone was polite and knowledgeable. The restaurant had an amazing g vibe with music in the back. The restroom were very clean which is always a sign of a great place. read more
This place is like Chipotle but with Mediterranean food. Great vegetarian options here. Got a falafel wrap and it was delicious. The falafel was moist and flavorful. I also got all of the vegetables, and they were all fresh and added to the wrap instead of just being filler. I especially enjoyed the marinated eggplant. The staff was friendly and efficient. There was a bit of a line, but they were quick with assembling wraps and bowls. read more

I love Brassica very much. I remember meeting the owner (who came from Columbus) and other members of their leadership team for a special opening event with Yelp in Shaker Heights, Cleveland (this was around April 2019). I've been to Brassica in Shaker Heights over 10 times now so I was happy to hear that Brassica opened a 2nd Cleveland location in January 2024 in Westlake. I first visited the Westlake location in January 2024 where I was given a complimentary meal courtesy of Yelp Cleveland. I recently came back in May 2024 to buy dinner. AMBIANCE -- fast casual restaurant but the aesthetic inside presents itself as a fine dining restaurant with the wooden interior ceiling and dim light. Super cute. FOOD -- Start off with either a sandwich ($8.90 - organic pita + your choice of fillings), hummus ($9.90 - organic pita + your choice of toppings), or a salad bowl ($11.90 - greens, grains which are curried rice pebbled with lentils + your choice of vegetable ingredients and crunchy toppings). Once you've picked a pita sandwich, hummus bowl, or a salad bowl, then select your protein option. Protein choices are vegetables only, falafel which is made from chickpeas, chicken, or brisket (beef). Next, select a sauce which you can get on the side or have it spread all over your bowl or sandwich. **NOTE - falafel is a $2 extra charge, chicken is $3 extra, and brisket is $4 extra. If you just want vegetables in your salad bowl or pita sandwich, that's included at no extra cost. TASTY -- When I visited in May 2024, I chose a salad bowl ($11.90) with falafel ($2.00) and a side of pita ($1.50) which totaled $15.40. I love that I can add as many toppings to my salad bowl as possible at no extra cost so I always load it up. I got the Z'hug sauce on the side which is a green sauce made out of cilantro. Once I got home and ate, I couldn't finish my salad bowl. I only had about 7 more bites left but I was already so full so you will be satisfied if you eat here. SIDES -- Fries, pita bread, tahini chocolate chip cookie which is vegan I believe, or a side of falafel. Let me tell you right now to GET their pita bread because it is made FRESH just like everything else but it is so yummy especially if eaten right when it comes out of their oven when it is still soft. Their fries are also so crispy and delicious. DRINKS -- Water or their several other drink options such as their minty pink lemonade, kombucha, Boylan soda, iced-tea, or alcohol (wine or seltzer). 5/5 STARS -- I'll definitely be back because I love their healthy food. As an "OG" Brassica eater, LOL, I MISS their lamb bacon as a protein option. Who remembers when they had lamb bacon? It was DELISH so if anyone at Brassica is reading this review, please bring it back to the menu. We stopped in for a casual lunch. The line was long so we placed our order for mobile pick up while we waited at a table. It was ready in about 20 minutes. Our fries and bowls were great. All the ingredients were very fresh. The staff was kind and the restaurant was clean. Would recommend and would return. read more

I have been waiting to get a Brassica on the westside for so long!! This place is delicious and had to get it every time I was in Columbus! I went on opening day, and although the line was SO LONG, they handled it very well and the wait really wasn't long at all! Brassica is a Mediterranean build your own restaurant. You can get salads, hummus bowls, or a pita sandwich. You then pick as little or as many toppings as your want. Everything is built in front of you and is so fresh! We both got brisket and all the fixings and wow was it delicious! The portions are generous and you could probably save some for a second meal if you wanted. We even got a Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookie to split for dessert and that was the perfect little treat after such a flavorful meal! I will definitely be back here, as this might be one of my new favorite spots! read more
We stopped at Brassica while running errands in the West Bay plaza and it was a great choice! The restaurant itself was very clean and I loved the casual, yet upscale ambiance. The pitas are freshly made and I watched the employees pulling them directly out of the oven and serving them to guests. They were so soft and warm and chewy, with great flavor. The hummus was also delicious, and my partner raved about the seasoning of the chicken. Everything was fresh and tasty. To top it off, the chocolate chip cookies were gooey on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside, my favorite! We will certainly be back again. read more
Just think.. Mediterranean Chipotle. Get a pita sandwich or a hummus (or Baba based bowl All the vegetables are delicious. The sauces were yummy, we like the special. Falafel was cooked perfect, and the chicken was super flavorful. Baba and hummus were both good. We liked how the greens are finely chopped. We thought they could've given a bit more of the grains, but it was hardy enough. One Complaint was the fries were a little over salted. The Boylin beverages were good. Next time we'll try the Pitas because they looked great. Place was packed. Very nice decor, high end bathroom fixtures. Super clean all around. read more

A must try if you haven't already, Brassica offers chipotle style, fast-casual, mod-mediterranean pitas and bowls and is a fantastic entry point into mediterranean cuisine for picky eaters. I've visited probably a dozen times over the last year, and not once have I had a poor experience. The workers are quite friendly and accommodating, the service is quick, and the food is delicious and creative. They give the choice between falafel (+$2), chicken (+$3), and brisket (+$4). The falafel is good, but best on its own dipped in special sauce. The chicken is nothing particularly special; I recommend the brisket. It's quite solid and compliments the other ingredient choices nicely. Speaking of, what stands out the most to me are the toppings. Each one gets a unique and flavorful treatment that plays well with each other, but that you can also pick off your pita and eat "a la carte" just as happily. Some examples are 'cukes and radishes, cauliflower and jalepeños, pickled cabbage, and marinated eggplant. This attention to detail really sets Brassica apart from other fast casual spots, and justifies the slightly higher price point. There are a handful of sauces, and the three that I've tried are excellent. But their special sauce is otherworldly. DO NOT go without trying the sauce; get it on the side if you need to. You'll thank me later. If you like fries, these are pretty good, especially with special sauce. As mentioned before, the falafel are also very good a la carte. The mint lemonade was solid, and this location also has bubbly water for free in the soda machine if you're into that sort of thing. I haven't had the tahini cookies. A bit pricey compared to other fast casual spots, but worth every penny IMHO. Do not bring your significant other if you don't want to be begged to go every other day. Hands down the best counter service meal in Cleveland! This is a fairly new location, and I was happy to see it packed on weekday for lunch. Brassica truly has the best cooked and flavored vegetables. My personal favorites are the pickled cucumbers and marinated eggplant. Getting into the place was interesting in a wheelchair. Lots of narrow turns. Someone immediately helped us and answered questions. They let us get things on the side to try them. I thought garnish veggies was fresh and roasted. The taste of the cauliflower was excellent and not overly seasoned.my chicken pita was also fresh and flavorful. It was nice that the pita bread was solid. It didn't break apart or become messy. They did have it in paper that sat in a brass ring for decore. They have a wide selection of beverages. From hard cider to wines and sodas. I got the mint pink lemonade. That too was very good. VERY GOOD. The staff was extremely friendly and so helpful. Being in a wheelchair I usually get funny looks and ignored but this staff all the people were nice and almost tripping over themselves to help. read more

My co-worker was raving about Brassica to basically anyone that would listen. They had only recently opened and she had already lunched there 4 times. Had to see what the hype was, so Katie and I made a date. First impressions are everything, folks, and Brassica is HERE to stop you in your tracks. Upon entry, I was immediately impressed by the ambiance and warmth of the restaurant. It seemed fancy. I know this is Crocker Park, but this is basically fast food... with a chic attitude. It was hoppin, but we were greeted immediately. You get your choice of either a sandwich, salad, or hummus. Build-on from there. Someone described it as a Middle Eastern Chipotle-style menu. It's so so much more I had the sandwich, which started with an organic pita rolled into dish. The pita alone makes this meal worth every penny. They are baking it fresh in a stone-fired oven right in front of you. I've never had pita this fresh, soft, chewy, delicious. This sets them apart from any other restaurant of it's kind. I added hummus, chicken, cukes, radishes, cabbage, feta cheese, and their special sauce which was a garlic of some sort. I ended up not eating it as a sandwich, but I forked it to savor each intentional bite. So fantastic. I can't wait to try a salad with pita chips next. A manager was walking around to check on people and offered us a sample cookie. He brought us each a full Tahini Chocolate Chip cookie. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was absolutely fantastic. I've also heard good things about the fries- next time! Everything was really delicious, the space was beautiful, and the people were very friendly. It was not a cheap lunch, but nothing is! The value far exceeds. The only negative thing I said was that they need a menu up where you order. I felt a little lost when I stepped up, because the menu board is by the door. They're brand new in this spot, so I'm sure they're figuring things out. I expect they'll be here for a long time- this was a spectacular experience! read more

Food was very good, we are from out of town and if we lived here this would be a regular place for us. I had the hummus bowl with chicken and the Mrs. Had the salad with the brisket. We enjoyed both & the fresh pita was great. You have to try all the sauces, each has a distinct taste and the dark green has a nice kick. When in the area, we will be back! I'm a newbie to Brassica, but have heard amazing things about it, so I was very excited when it opened up in our neighborhood! You get the choice of sandwich, hummus, or salad. I chose a sandwich. The pita came right out of the oven while I was waiting, and was very delicious. Made from three kinds of flour, it was puffy and perfectly cooked. I chose hummus as a filling, along with greens and some grains and pickled Vegetables. The vegetables are pickled, marinated and roasted on the daily! Topped with roasted red pepper sauce, and some falafel : it was divine! They also offer french fries and tahini, chocolate chip cookies, along with a soup. I did not order those things, but a friend of mine did, and really loved them. There was a very chill vibe, and all of the workers were friendly and upbeat. I can't wait to come back again! read more
