A wonderful spot for shawarma on the west side! The staff were so helpful in making suggestions. There is seating indoor if you'd like to eat in. I opted for the chicken she beef rice platter. The meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection! The hummus is probably one of the best I've had in Cleveland the pita chips that come along with it are perfection! Overall, we really enjoyed Yalla Shawarma! Customer service was top notch. The staff was pretty busy with dine-in and take-out orders but we were greeted immediately. It took about 15-18 min to get our food but it was hot and fresh. We ordered the kefta entree and shawarma plate. It was delicious and the portion sizes were more than enough. We also had the Dubai chocolate cheesecake, which was delish! The main cashier/cook (who I think was the owner) checked in on us several times during our meal which really impressed me. Newer Restaurant. Very clean and modern appearance. First time visiting. Staff was very friendly. Stayed simple on my initial visit. Ordered a chicken shawarma. Very simply prepared - spit roasted chicken, garlic sauce, pickles wrapped in a tortilla and flat top grilled. Honestly, garlic sauce was runnier than I am used to and I was looking for the garlic punch (it was a little light on the punch). Chicken was cooked well and was tender. Shawarma is one of my favorite foods. I've had shawarma all over the place, locally and out of country. This place is one of the worst I've ever had. My wife and I both took about 5 bites and tossed it. Also, missing 4 minor items from our order. Not a huge deal but I did pay for it. On top of that this place is up there in price compared to much better and cheaper shawarma that is local. Shishtawook sandwich was inedible , I'm Lebanese so I know what I'm talking about . No flavor, chicken was very hard to chew and no flavor . Threw it away. Chicken shawarma they cut it almost raw and then grill it which give it an old taste . Beef shawarma was the only 5/10. Tried couple Desserts wasn't done right took a bite and threw out.
