Unfortunately, they couldn't put us together, but we made it work. The location has a spectacular view of Cleveland's skyline. Even with some haze, it was lovely. The food was a hit with everyone. We started with the clothesline bacon and a cinnamon roll. It was perfect for our table. The bacon was not candied as described. It was good, but not something I'd order again for the price. 5 "ok" sugared bacon. The presentation was cute and the blueberry preserves were tasty. The sliced baguette toast was way too hard (break a tooth hard). My Florentine Benedict was cooked perfect,y. I opted for the fruit instead of the potatoes. I didn't realize it would be a $4.00 add on, but it was fresh and all the fruit was perfect. Others had the chicken and waffles, with a side of blueberry sausage, a smash burger and various yummy cocktails. My pomegranate mimosa was delicious and the plump blackberry was scrumptious. The family wall of pictures was a great tribute to life, family, love and Michael T Joseph who sadly died too young. It's a wonderful place to go with friends and family. I highly recommend when you're looking for a special place. Looking forward to coming back. PS: please donate to https://www.awakeningangels.org !

A real home meal that will warm up your soul. Also, the portions are super generous and we would have had plenty if we had shared just one plate. Their soup with lemon is delicious, their Rashoosh Bread is so addictive you won't stop eating it and their chicken hanneth is extremely tasty and good too!

Located on the east side, this little gem is not in the nicest of neighborhoods but don't let that fool you. The food here is outstanding. Parking is limited and more can be found on the side street next to the building. It appears that more people order out here than eat in, but that just meant that we had better service. Our waitress, Sarah, was friendly and warm. We explained that we had never eaten Yemenite food before and she made some great recommendations. Sparsely furnished, the interior was clean, quiet and cool. We ordered the hummus with bread to start, and the soup. My husband had the lamb haneeth and I had the chicken Mandi. He enjoyed a limeade (it reminded us of a non-alcoholic mojito) and I had hot tea. We are already planning our next. Is it back and who to bring with us. The food was delicious, the meat was tender, we had tons of left overs, and the hummus and bread were some of the best we've ever had.

Never really knew what Mediterranean food was, but have grown to love it! Service is fast and very friendly. Ambiance is nothing special, unless you get a trip out of walking through the kitchen to get to the restrooms or leave via the back door. You can park at Westside Market for free and enter through the rear. I have had most everything on the menu, including the traditional deli sandwiches. But my favorites come down to their hummus, tabbouleh, fattoush and beef shawarma. The hummus is the creamiest thing you'll ever have! Absolutely delicious. The fattoush uses shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes and parsley in their homemade dressing. The shawarma goes great with the hummus and makes my protein numbers for the day. Whether you choose to eat in or carry out, Nate's is always a hit!

The Kibby was dry, the falafel was dry, the chicken was excessively dry. I liked the rice and the hummus as well as the spinach pie. But I would go to Alladins every time over Nate's.

(It could have been earlier but my 5 star review of this place 16 years ago is an objective starting point). Although I have spent much of the past 23 years living in various places outside of both Cleveland and Ohio, I'm a born and raised East Side Clevelander. And whenever I resettle in the area, I always find myself gravitating back to Algebra Tea House for the good vibes. In the past several months that I have been visiting, I'm happy to see the place really feels like a cultural community hub and an outright neighborhood institution. Over the years, many unique small businesses that have shuttered operations in Coventry (China Treasure House, Big Fun, Record Revolution, La Cave du Vin), Cedar-Fairmount (Nighttown). I'm so happy to see that Algebra Tea House is thriving and continuing to create a unique and inviting environment for the neighborhood. I love the unpretentious and lo-fi atmosphere and operation. I love the DIY craftsmanship that permeates in every aspect of the business. The food and beverage options are also quite good. Although I haven't been around for many years, I think maybe there are more offerings on the menu these days. I especially love the vegetable stews on their chalkboard menu and the foul madamas (fava beans). Service is lo-fi and very casual. Just place your order at the counter. It is written on a scratch pad. Sit down and be patient. The food or beverage will then be delivered to your table. Pay on your way out. Bring cash if you want to avoid a credit card transaction fee.

You order at the counter and then they bring the food and drinks to your table and you pay on the way out. Interior decor is eclectic and fun to look at and the mugs are all unique which makes fun a nice and funky aesthetic...we loved it. Service was really friendly too. There were so many items on the menu that looked amazing - it was hard to choose just one! I ended up going for that hummus sandwich (more of a wrap, really) and subbed tomatoes for black and green olives and got the cafe algebra to drink. My friend chose the white pizza and the hibiscus tea. Food came out pretty quickly and everything was good! The hummus was creamy and delicious and the harissa was great too...the olives were excellent as well! My friend enjoyed her pizza and the hibiscus tea was so flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the cafe algebra, but that was just personal preference. I will be back to try more of the menu for sure! Thank you, Algebra Tea House!
