Outside, walking towards the entrance (Saturday, 28 Sept. 2024). I found out later that there is a parking lot at the back

I was happy to finally visit this immigrant friendly business. I gave it a 3/5 stars because I've only been here once and I just had a tea which wasn't quite to my liking but service was efficient and service so I'll most likely be back. If you enjoy unique, quirky, and hipster vibes then this tea shop is for you. The tea cups are colourful and very unique which are all made by the owner. I finally visited in late September 2024 with a new friend. We both ordered the Palestinian tea ($4). The Palestinian tea tasted fine to me but maybe I should have asked for honey. The Palestinian tea is described as a savory black tea with a hint of caraway and sage. The tea flavour was bland and it probably would have tasted better with honey. If you like a plain black tea then maybe this one is for you. I did not order food because when I walked in, it looked a bit unkept (not dirty but okay looking). Their food looks like regular breakfast/lunch items from sandwiches to salads. My friend ordered the spinach pie which came with a side salad and he enjoyed it. I'll be back to try a different tea. TIP: Parking in the Little Italy neighbourhood can be tricky and frustrating as with most places. I got lucky and found street parking down the street on Mayfield road on the corner of Mayfield Rd. and Murray Hill Rd. All parking on Murray Hill road has "residents only" sign so that's why I didn't park on Murray Hill road. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 93/150 total reviews in 2024 - 742 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 29 September 2024

Stopped in to warm up with tea. I got the chai to warm up - I prefer it a little sweeter, but I didn't wanna alter the favor. The inside was so cute and cozy. All the food looked so good! We got an array of food. I did not like the green dip, but the hummus was really good! And the falafel was really good. I would come back for the tea and coffee!

This is an interesting place with a truly unique ambiance. However I would not come here for anything other than the tea. We ordered a Palestinian flatbread, a Mediterranean omelette and the algebra dessert. Service was painfully slow. The omelette was greasy and tasteless, the dessert was dry and clearly tasted stale (I've made this myself so I know what it should taste like) literally couldn't even pick it up with a fork as it crumbled--even what was supposed to be the chocolatey part. The flatbread was the only saving grace and the teas were nice

Really cool spot and lively on a late Saturday morning. The menu is expansive and includes an all-day breakfast menu - love that. My husband and I split a white cheese omelet and it was perfect and came with delicious breakfast potatoes. I had a house chai and it was really good. The service was friendly, seems like a fun social place to work. Only downside was that it could use better ventilation with the open kitchen.

This is a little gem in Cleveland! If you like tea, need to get some work done, or need a new place to meet up with friends, this is a great spot. It's located in the Little Italy neighborhood near the CWRU campus. You can come for a cup of tea, to eat lunch, or to buy some international grocery items. We got the dip plate as a snack and it was delicious! You can tell that there is authenticity behind the dishes. The house chai was a little disappointing to me, but because they have such an extensive menu, I would definitely return to try other teas.

The ambiance is my favorite! Walked in with the most beautiful decor and Fairouz playing. I love the decor and the vibes. Food was great and service was pretty fast for now busy they were! Cups are unique as well!

Want to experience the heart of culture? It's at the Algebra Tea House I decided to stop by for tea while killing time waiting to meet up my friend. I love the aesthetics of their mugs and how their kitchen is an open display.

This is a cozy space with a friendly staff. The artwork was amazing. I had an iced hibiscus tea that was delicious. We sat on the patio, Highly recommend.

Hit or miss service but 5 stars for creativity and ambiance with healthy unique options every time. No end of things homemade to look at decorating this place. Nice menu with lots of food and beverage options. No artificial sweeteners like Splenda though so gotta bring your own. Typically the workers are teenagers and they typically flub your order in one minor way or another but if you're forgiving you'll be fine. The chicken schawarma salad was well portioned with chicken that was flavorful and well dressed with flavors of lemon and tahini and balsamic. The carrot salad was interesting. It was literally a half bag of shredded raw carrots on a bed of spinach with tahini and lemon and maybe something slightly sweet like a balsamic of fruit vinegar as well? Not good.

I don't even know where to begin. This is my abaolute new favorite space. Not even just for the food, but the air is so warm and i viting, the servers/chefs/baristas (they do it all right behind the counter) are so genuinely lovely. I sat at a handcrafted table very close to the ground on a lounging chair with a soft hide and cute little pumpkin pillows, while close by was a small crackling fire. Our food was brought out to us insanely quickly by the kindest, friendliest woman. My friend and I ordered three plates to share as well as a smoothie each, and with an over 20% tip (mentioning this because it added heftily to the overall cost) we each only paid $27. The smoothies were amazing, the food was so hearty and tasted like you were eating a good meal at an old friend's home. They have a crazy selection of tea and the only other time I'd been there I tried one of their lattes which certainly did not disappoint either. With crazy quick service, insanely reasonable prices with huge helpings of food, and the most wholesome full feeling you have when you leave (in both your stomach and soul), I could not begin to recommend Algebra Teahouse enough.

This a great place and the food was so tasty! My friends and I stopped by during the tail end of the summer (I'm really missing that weather in this blizzard mess let me tell you...). A friend got the hummus and asked to add chicken and the other friend got the shwarma sandwich along with me. We also got various smoothies which were all tasty. The sandwich had a good ratio of meat to veggies to pickled veggies to sauce. Flavorful but balanced. I also ended up picking up a few cookies to go (anise cookie? definitely recommend) Great place and definitely coming back!

I love coming to Algebra Tea House! It is such a unique place to go for a delicious meal and a warm cup of tea. They have quite an extensive selection of teas (and coffee drinks if tea isn't your thing). I've had several meals here and everything has been good - I especially like the brunch offerings on Saturday and Sunday. The atmosphere is great for me to come and get some work done. Theres also a small parking lot in back, which is awesome since parking in Little Italy can be a bit tough. The service is always friendly but can be a little bit hit or miss in terms of wait time, but the food and drinks are always worth the wait!

Yuck! The offerings are mediocre on a good day. The ownership is quite rude so I won't be back.

My former Moroccan colleague recommended this restaurant to me years ago, and I frequently enjoy eating here. MoMo's is a heartwarming immersion into Moroccan culture and cuisine. It always fills my belly and my soul. AMBIANCE: Open space dining room with a Moroccan flair - tagines, Moroccan arches, ornate plates, and camels. Your party can take a sit at one of the tables or nooks. Nooks have blankets and pillows for ultimate relaxation. Lighting is pleasantly dim with a few Moroccan lanterns overhead. The restaurant is usually pleasantly quiet. FOOD: The menu is very simple yet features the most delicious Moroccan dishes. The restaurant caters well to vegetarians and vegans, my friend used to join me for dinners (she's vegan). I prefer to order tagine (Moroccan stew) with lamb ($23) and Moroccan tea ($5 for a teapot, refillable). The two most perfectly combine. Moroccan stew is served in tagine. The meal includes a tasty salad and bread. Stew includes generous pieces of lamb, potatoes, and carrots. The stew is always so hearty. Moroccan tea is so delicious. It's a combination of green tea, mint tea, and sugar. Momo pours it in the most interesting and theatrical way. A must drink and see. The tea is served in a traditional tea pot. You'll sip it from an ornate glass. It's always perfectly steeped. The restaurant is alcohol free. SERVICE: Chef Mohammed (Momo) takes the time to socialize with guests and is incredibly welcoming. Momo shared that his dream is to retire in Morocco and live mountainside among the olive trees. So, you'll really feel the love for Morocco and learn about the culture. The service is just incredible! I highly recommend MoMo's for solo diners, couples, and groups. It provides a unique dining experience unlike any others in the city. Stop in for a hearty tagine and warm atmosphere!

Our table had the baba and dawali appetizers, and then beef kafta, shawarma plate, and shish kebabs for dinner. I also had a cocktail - I think the blue paloma. My drink was good, not particularly special but not bad. Next time I would probably just go for a glass of wine. The food however was excellent. 10 out of 10. My kafta was exceptionally flavorful, and the vegetables still had plenty of bite to them. My mom and sister felt similarly about their meals. The appetizers were delicious as well, especially the dawali, and we appreciated the za'atar oil served with the fresh pitas. I am a visitor in Cleveland. And it smelled so good in there... BUT having said that... The food was SO disappointing. I ordered the Lamb Rolled Pita and the Hummus. (See attached photo) of the lamb I could NOT eat. I was so bummed. I was really looking forward to that. Also, I asked for cucumbers be subbed for the tomatoes. The tomatoes were gone which was great, but there were NO cucumbers. ALSO, the menu says that the rolled sandwiches come with fries. (see attached photo) Mine did not. Bummed. It came with this like lemon couscous that I didn't like at all and didn't eat. (see attached photo) So, basically, I only had mostly pita to eat from the sandwich and the hummus. (which was good). Honestly, if there wasn't so much of the lamb that wasn't edible, I wouldn't have posted a review at all despite the fries and the cucumbers being wrong/missed. Very disappointing because this meal supposed to be like a treat.
