Omg blueberry matcha is a must try!!!! Absolutely delicious and I could've drank 3 of these that morning!

I have been wanting to visit the Blue Cafe for some time. It is a cute independent coffee shop. The staff was friendly and helpful. The iced coffee was made well and not bitter. It was the perfect ratio of coffee and oat milk. The seating area was plentiful along with outside seating. The Blue Cafe also supports local artisans. They had a large selection of baked goods, including some vegan options. I will definitely be returning.

We got the lemonade, vanilla, Matcha, bacon, egg, and cheese on asiago bagel, and a normal bacon, egg and cheese on a plain bagel.

Food was great, the restaurant is so cute and comfortable, the prices are amazing, and the service was great. Usually, I don't like Matcha, but this was the best Matcha I ever had. Seriously come here it was the best.

SO many options compared to other coffee shops in Lakewood! Loved the aesthetic both inside and out. The ham & cheese croissant was delicious! I imagine the other pastry options are also great. Service was quick as we went mid day. Both of our drinks were decent, both pretty sweet too. I look forward to trying other coffee options in the future.

Cinnamon roll and a lavender cappuccino

Food is amazing. Coffee is amazing. They have more coffee flavors than any other place I've been to, including lavender which is probably my favorite. It's such a cozy little place, they have live flowers on the tables and a couch if you plan on spending some time there. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They even sell some cute little stickers and jewelry too.

My amazing barista!!

There's plenty of single tables and a few larger tables for meeting or working with a group. The space is airy and bright. I love the blue accents and wallpaper. It's def quiet and comfortable to feel good about spending a few hours there on a weekday. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, great vibes here. My coffee was delicious. I got a cafe au lait with one of their cinnamon seasonal syrups. I will say this isn't the spot if you're looking for breakfast with your coffee. I got one of their grab and go biscuit sandwiches which was prepackaged and sitting in their cooler. They did warm it up for me, but it wasnt very good. The meat was still kind of cold, so I just ate the biscuit with some honey. I can't really hold it against them, I don't think they make food there. I probably would have been better off just getting a bagel. I love touring the many coffee shops of Lakewood and am happy to finally make it to Goodkind Coffee.

Pro Tip: Visit to get a pic by their cool Lakewood mural inside the store…read more Walking into Burning River Coffee was a bit like stumbling into a local secret - a combo of smoke shop and coffee shop. The front is unassuming, and this combo isn't something you see every day, but somehow, it works... or at least, it's interesting enough to give it a shot. I visited the coffee shop side while working nearby (walking distance) at the co-working center (Icon Cowork). I ordered the red eye. Honestly? It delivered. It wired me for days. It was extremely strong and not well crafted (too much, definitely not barista made). But boy did it do its job. While at the coffee shop, I noticed a small menu of other drinks and no baked goods in the case. It just really had the basics. Service was very quick. The barista (who worked both sides of the house) was nice enough, but the vibe was more transactional than inviting. Not rude, just kind of indifferent. The space had enough tables to sit at and very quiet atmosphere. One thing I couldn't ignore was the scent of vape juice hanging in the air. It didn't bother me personally, but I can see how that could be a turn-off if you're expecting more of a traditional coffee shop aesthetic. Of note is that both sides of the business have the same entrance. They're working on dividing the space into two separate ones according to my quick chat with the employee. Currently the coffee shop has no age restrictions while the smoke shop is 21+. Overall? Burning River Coffee is quirky and good for a simple cup of coffee. It's not a textbook coffee shop experience -- it's its own thing. Just don't expect the usual indie-coffeehouse playlist and aesthetic. Expect something unexpected and different.

The location is great to walk to neighborhood shops and restaurants in Lakewood. The friendly staffer really worked her latte magic! She said she always adds a little bit of vanilla to punch up the flavors of the lattes. The coffees were so good. I also appreciated that they used lots of ice....perfectly cold and creamy. The baked goods looked nothing like the pictures on Yelp, but they did have several vegan and gf options. This morning they also had fresh cinnamon rolls.

I ordered a 16oz iced salted maple caramel latte with oat milk and a plain bagel with cream cheese and was totally gagged when my bill was under ten dollars, Seattle could never. Not only that, but I am a cream cheese lover and when I asked for extra cheese for my bagel the barista was so kind and gave me more and didn't even charge me. And when I say this was the best bagel I have ever had in my life, my bestie thinks they might be pan fried, and I have no idea but they are the perfect texture with the right amount of crunch!! It paired perfectly with the cream cheese and honestly this bagel is going to live rent free in my brain until my next visit to Lakewood. I loved the vibes of the restaurant, my bestie and I ended up hanging and eating and chatting for a few hours. The space was open and clean and I loved how much natural light we got. They had definitely outgrown their old space, so it's exciting to see them just down the street in a new home thats size finally matches the amount of people who are dying for a coffee and crepe. The new spot has two giant rooms with plenty of seating, including the cutest little VHS corner. There's so much more room now to really enjoy the quaint grandma's living room vibe that Brewellas has always been iconic for. Their coffee and crepes are always delicious. Currently they don't have a huge seasonal menu like they normally would, but the classics + pistachio are more than enough for me right now! I cannot wait to go back!

I love how Brewella's commits to celebrating every season with over-the-top decor. It's my favorite…read morereason for visiting this cafe now for years. I most recently stopped in during fall to winter transition when the cafe was already dressed up for Christmas - paper snowflakes descending from the ceiling, read bows and stockings adorning the walls, and a Christmas tree in the window. So festive! AMBIANCE: Cafe is one open space with vintage vibes - floral and funky wallpaper, vintage and artisan accessories sold at the cafe, and antique gold frames decorating the walls. The vibes are cozy and calm. The back of the cafe features barista lounge where baristas can relax during their shift, which is a nice amenity. The tables at the cafe get very quickly filled. I almost always get my order to go due to the lack of seating options. My only hesitation about visiting is the lack of one seat options/nooks. I sometimes like to go to a cafe to sit down for a while, read a book, and just pause. There are no options to have this experience here. While I always want to linger, I just take my order to go. If you do manage to get a table as a solo guest, there are some books by the checkout that I'm sure you can borrow. FOOD/DRINKS: Brewella's always invents fun seasonal specials - drinks and food. I always order from the seasonal menu. I also always order crepes. It's hard to find crepes around here that are well prepared. They get them just right at this cafe every single time. This time I ordered Merry Maple Latte ($5), Pear & Brie Crepe ($11). I wasn't crazy about either choice. Merry Maple Latte was too heavy on the milk that overpowered the flavors. I couldn't taste maple at all. Pear & Brie Crepe also didn't hit the spot due to pears. They were too mushy for my liking and too artificially flavored. I feel like pear jam substitute would be a better choice. While I wouldn't order these specific menu items again, I always love crepes and lattes at Brewella's. SERVICE: The service is pretty transactional. I tend to chat with the baristas at other local cafes, often know their names, and enjoy the interaction. Here the service is quick but there are no warm interactions. It's really what I like the least about Brewella's, there's a lack of connection. PARKING: Only street parking available. Parking is a bit hard to come by during the weekends. I plan to arrive early in the day for my next Brewella's visit and bring some friends to enjoy the table seating. I can't wait to see Valentine's Day decor at Brewella's and new drink creations! If you love holiday decor and inventive seasonal drinks this the place for you!

I'm snobby about coffee and tend to avoid my standard drip when the menu features flavored roasts so I went big and got a peanut butter mocha. It was dessert in the morning and it was delicious.
