Great food and service; haven't been to this Phoenix Coffee location before, but it was quiet yet lively on a Sunday afternoon. There's plenty of natural light through the windows and the patio is a great place to enjoy a drink when the weather is nice. The peach honey scone was very buttery and the perfect amount of sweet. read more

Not a very big latte selection so off the bat I'm not too happy. He listed like 3 different flavors. Ended up going very basic with the vanilla latte and it wasn't that good. Very mid drink. They also don't have wifi which was disappointing. I do like the outdoor seating area, I just wish it wasn't so hot today. read more

Best coffee shop in all of Cleveland! The vibe is everything you want in a coffee shop, very chill and relaxing. The outdoor space is quiet and mostly shaded in the mornings. The cold brew tastes excellent. You can taste all of the flavors of the coffee, and it is so creamy. I do not know how they do it. I have not tried much else because the cold brew is so good. Also, they serve it in an actual glass which is always a great touch. The selection of pastries (savory and sweet) is great for the kids. Every time I go to Cleveland, I make sure to make a stop at Phoenix. read more

I ran into this place when passing by Cleveland, and I have to say it has amazing cookies and excellent cappuccinos, tons of vinyls and great service read more

This is a great little place that I walk by several times a week. It's easy to miss because of the building it's in but it's a very credible little coffee shop. I typically get either a cappuccino or a regular coffee. They do both very well. It's simple and unpretentious. But that said, very few can make a REAL cappuccino that you would typically get for less than a Euro in Roma. They do it right. It's exactly as it's supposed to be, 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 foam. Most US places don't have a freaking clue. They do. Phoenix also has a nice little selection of excellent pastries. Their chcolate chip cookies are amazing. And while I always love a chocolate chip cookies, their blueberry muffins are amazing! Nice crunchy top, loaded with blueberries, and moist, but not too moist as to lose the flavor of the blueberries. My only criticism...for fuck sake, why does everyone feel the need to refrigerate butter???????? It's impossible to spread on a muffin. read more

The scone, muffin, and Americano we had were excellent, and the staff was very friendly as well! There is seating indoors and outdoors.

I ate my muffin top and drank my tea too quickly and forgot to take a photo! However, I came here with friends last month and really loved the chill vibes of the Ohio city Phoenix Coffee location. The patio area is spacious and great for meeting friends. The service was fast and friendly, and I enjoyed my goodies! I'm a long time fan of Phoenix Coffee and have been visiting their Cedar-Lee location for sometime, it was nice checking out one of their other locations! read more

What a joy to find! Up a set of stairs holds such a wonderful coffee shop. After lunch my sister and I were walking around and stumbled upon Phoenix. I got a lavender oat milk latte and it was just the perfect balance of flavors. The staff were wonderfully nice and super chill. I've already recommended it to several people. This was a super cute place to come and get some work done and read!! They also have the cutest aesthetic and murals outside of their door!! I didn't get the chance to sit and eat outside, but it looked beautiful out there - it was just a cold day when I went so I stayed inside. I got a lavender latte, very delicious and could taste the perfect amount of lavender. To snack on I got a salted bagel with chorizo cream cheese. Both delicious, I wanted an everything bagel but they were out and I was a little scared to try this bagel - but it turned out super delicious!! I can't wait to come back and ready/read here again!! read more

What a perfect find for some incredibly quality coffee and a carby treat! Though the entrance can be a little hard to find (enter & park on Bridge Ave), Phoenix Coffee Bar is a delightful little spot to get your caffeine on and maybe do some work, too. Came here after walking the dog and got a regular latte and a strawberry lemonade scone. Shortly before 8 am, it wasn't crowded at all (but had a slow, steady stream of regulars grabbing coffee to go and chitchatting with the baristas.) I sat with my pup on their beautiful outdoor patio to enjoy my treats and work a bit. I loved that they offered my dog a treat & a water bowl immediately - such a dog friendly place with a chill, easy-going vibe great for meeting with a friend or getting some work done! The espresso comes in two different varieties and my latte was smooth, well balanced, and honestly the thing of my coffee snob dreams. I hadn't know CLE had coffee this good. The strawberry lemonade scone - despite the name - wasn't too sweet (which I LOVED) and was served WARM with a perfectly soft, fluffy inside and slight crunch to the outer layer as only truly perfect English-style scones should be. I did not partake - but there is a HUGE selection of bagels & schmears from Cleveland Bagel Company here if you are in the mood for something more substantial food-wise. Overall, this is a gem of a local institution and I love that they are employee owned company. Definitely will be back while I'm still in town! read more

Just found my new favorite coffee shop in Cleveland! Will definitely be coming here the rest of my stay here. So many wonderful options and delicious lattes, especially from their specialty latte menu. They're also very decently priced and you can substitute regular milk for oat without any extra charge. I love the atmosphere there, and it's nice location all seasons. I like the interior, it's very local and unique. The staff are amazing, I've checked old reviews about bad customer service, but I haven't faced any during the last 2 years I've been going there. The mocha is amazing, it has the right amount of coffee and chocolate. Good variety of cookies and have gluten free options read more

Friendly staff. I had a iced chai latte with oat milk and it was very nicely balanced in flavors with neither ingredient over powering the other. The cup was filled with more ice than I would have preferred though. I also had a scone, and throughly enjoyed it. It was flavorful and will probably try another one the next time I visit. Their location is on the second floor so you'll have to walk up a set of stairs to the entrance. There is an outdoor seating area as well. read more

If you are looking for somewhere that has good vibes and plenty of options for diets, Phoenix is where you should be. Vegan and Gluten-free options in both the drinks and baked goods. Excellent coffee! Great service! I go there every time I go to Cleveland! Give it a try!

The iced coconut latte in the summer is the best coffee drink I've ever had. I could drink only that for the rest of my life and die happy. It's that much better than other beverages of any other kind. My husband is obsessed with their beans and quality of espresso. And all of their in-house made scones are out of control - very moist and fluffy somehow at the same time - everything you could ever wish for in a scone read more

I came here this morning to get something caffeinated but I was not really feeling like coffee. I was really impressed when the girl who took my order suggested something I might like that was not on the menu-a london fog latte, and it turned out really good! Other than the friendliness of the staff and the fantastic drink, I also really like this Phoenix location because of how cool it looks inside. The decor really creates a good vibe. Plus, you can bring your dog in, so that's pretty nice. Finally, I appreciate that Phoenix offers food in addition to drinks, including bagels from The Cleveland Bagel Company. read more

Came here on a Sunday morning and it was decently crowded, but still a short wait to get my coffee. It was a little warm out so I opted for a Large Iced Coffee and just added cream and half a splenda myself. The coffee was very good, you can tell they take making coffee very seriously and that it is almost an art to watch them make it! We sat outside and enjoyed out coffee on the little patio outside the entrance, the mural there is beautiful and all the trees make the area super relaxing. During a recent trip to Cleveland, I visited Phoenix Coffee Bar for a cortado. My fiancé also got one. Though there was no indoor seating at the time, you can tell they have the makings of a perfectly cozy coffee shop. Lucky for us the day was crisp and sunny so we sat out front and enjoyed our coffees. The cortado itself was creamy with a bit of a bold finish. I loved their style and coffee, definitely a place to recommend for anyone visiting Cleveland. read more

This place is so cute! I went here randomly the other day because I had searched "cute, cozy coffee shops" in yelp haha. There was a long list but this one was close but also one I hadn't heard of yet. When you get up to the building, they have some pretty cool artwork painted on the side. The inside reminds me of a quaint bookstore that also sells coffee and has a deck. My friend and I sat outside on the little deck because it was so nice out. It's smallish but perfect for that space. It had about 3 or 4 cushioned chairs (which we were sitting on), a table in the middle and then sort of like bar seating around the other two sides. Now as far as the coffee: my friend got a black cold brew and said it was great. I got a coconut water cold brew latte. Sounds weird, kind of is weird, but it was good! The barista let me taste it before I bought it just in case it wasn't for me. I'll definitely be back here :) read more

Affordable, friendly staff, and great drinks! I tried the iced chai latte and it was delish! The chai flavor had good spice too it and wasn't over sweetened like a lot of iced chais I have had (like the chai you get at Starbucks). Also, the drink came out to $3.50 which is wayyy cheaper than most coffee places, which are usually a $1 more. Plus, they do milk substitutes for free and don't charge extra! So nice. In terms of COVID-19 safety and staff, A+ for both. The staff provided wax paper so you don't have to actually touch the screen to tip and sign with your fingers. They answered all our questions about the drinks and were fast on service. read more

Nice menu and selection, but the coffee had quiet a few defects. The nitro toddy had a noticeable green vegetable note, not terribly great. I had the Ethiopian espresso, and it looked nice. A bit short of a pull so it had a very tart note that hid all the berry notes. Drip / pour over coffee was the best and this is what I would get if I came back. Parking is mostly street and can be a challenge read more

Stopped by for a quick espresso and an hour-long study session. (Also, my flight back to SF wasn't until 7 in the evening, so I needed someplace to cop out.) I love that they have outside patio seating, although since it was GORGEOUS weather when I came, all the seats were taken. Nevertheless, I ordered a decaf espresso. $2 for a double shot, imo, isn't bad at all! This, of course, in comparison to the damn $4 solo shots I normally find around San Francisco. Admittedly, the espresso was pretty acidic, but the texture was so smooth and creamy, that it was actually pretty pleasurable to drink. Overall, a pretty cool cafe to visit! read more

When you're in the mood for some weekend working on your laptop or even just a nice chat with a friend over a great cup of joe, here's your horse! I have never had anything besides a pleasant or productive experience here! I oftentimes get the bagels with an amazing and new random shmear (I've gone from cheddar and chive to dates and bacon... it's all delicious)! The vibe is certainly feel good and the cost is reasonable. I spent like 6 bucks on breakfast and got to enjoy sipping my cappuccino which had an adorable design on it by the way. In love with the vibe of this coffee spot, the vanilla lattes, and the croissants. Add to that the fact that this location is pet friendly (so you'll get to see and swoon over a range of bulldogs, beagles, and everything in between) and it doesn't get much better. Strongly recommend you stop in to get some work done, do some reading, or have a chat with a friend. There is street parking all around so it's pretty easy to access. Actually, on second thought, don't stop by and save the fun times and treats all got me! If there's a con, it'd be that this spot fills up pretty fast and the bathroom is a bit of a trek down in the basement. Not at all worth docking a star as this location is consistently a pleasure to visit. Highly recommend. read more

Food: serving the best roasted coffee and treats in cleveland, it's the perfect morning spot for a coffee and a bagel. They have typical coffee, but also cappuccinos, cortados, lattes, macchiatos, etc. I think they have the best coffee in cleveland. Atmosphere: I hate that I am saying this, but this is the "hipster coffee" shop that you want to go to, but aren't cool enough for (because they are really cool). They have plants about the place, a wood slab bar, and a record player spinning tunes (I sound so out of touch - ugh). Overall, it's a great atmosphere! And so many doggos!!! read more
