UPDATED REVIEW -- I recently visited again in late April 2026. I came in the morning to work. I sat at the back which is the room in the front right when you walk in from the main doors. There is also the main area (center part where you order) that has tables and chairs which is situated when you first walk in and then there is a back area towards the left that can be used as well. So, there are 2 back sections. DRINKS -- They sell matcha, tea, and coffee. I ordered a cup of Storehouse black tea with honey ($4 price, I think). I think the employee added too much honey in my tea because my stomach started hurting a little so I couldn't finish it but that's okay. I later got a mug of warm water which helped soothe my stomach. The cup of tea though is quite expensive but I like to support local businesses (Storehouse Tea is a Cleveland business). FOOD -- I also ordered a Rosemary bagel ($4) with a side of butter (.50 cents). The Rosemary bagel was delicious which isn't surprising because the owners make their own bagels. If you work remote then this coffee shop is for you as they have free wifi and plenty of tables to use. They have lots of chairs and tables laid out in three different sections. The music isn't as loud like most coffee shops in the area so I appreciated that. The back area towards the right only has 2 outlets available but thankfully, I got one to use. If you come with a laptop, make sure your battery is charged or find another seat where there is an outlet. Ready set is my favourite coffee shop on Cleveland. They have great espresso, ample seating, friendly staff, and fantastic bagels. Currently I love the wildflower latte. Whenever I visit home, I like to try new-to-me places. My mom had a gift card for Ready Set and she doesn't drink coffee so I had no problem taking it off of her hands. Over the weekend I made my way to Ready Set Coffee to find a place to study. This coffee shop is so bright and inviting when you walk in! There are two sides to the shop with plenty of seating if you want to meet some friends there. The staff was so polite and welcoming. We like to stop a Ready Set Coffee when we are in the Battery Park area. In our opinion their coffee is superior to many local shops and definitely the popular chains. Ready, Set Coffee always has a variety of pastries and food items to complement the coffee. The dining room is comfortable and generally there is a place to sit. They can get very busy and sometimes there is a longer wait. On this particular day they had a Girl Scout troop selling cookies. Of course we had to buy cookies. Oh my goodness! I am SO happy I finally got the chance to try this place out! I have heard so many good things about it! I love coming to Ready Set. It's basically become the place that I go to for a coffee on Saturday afternoons to get my weekend started. These guys are the best! Wanting to try a local coffee shop I stopped by here on a Friday morning and was drawn in by the scent of fresh coffee roasting in the back as I entered the shop! The decor is modern and bright. The fresh flowers in jars are a nice touch. The baristas were great with recommendations for someone like me who couldn't decide on what drink to get. They roast and bag their own coffee blends, which are also for sale. You can even buy mugs or a vegan cookbook. Love that they sell locally sourced vegan baked goods and bagels from the Cleveland Bagel Co. This has recently become my favorite coffee spot in town (ties with Rising Star) as the shop is in an amazing location, nestled near Gordon Square, Edgewater, and Lakewood. I let the staff know right away that is my first time visiting and they were happy to show me the seasonal menu and suggest a few favorites. I opted for the seasonal drink "Bonfire" which had house-made toasted marshmallow syrup, ginger, and oat milk. The ginger was so different and I love that I could taste it in each sip. Owners (brother-sister combo) on site, one roasting beans in the back, one running everything else, plus two employees. Plenty of seating in 3 different spaces.
