A great addition to the Cleveland coffee scene! I stopped by for a caffeinated beverage and a treat. Loved that they have a few dedicated parking spots. There is ample seating and the cafe has plenty of natural sunlight. I got the seasonal floral latte with a banana and salted caramel cookie. Both were delicious. The baristas helped me make my selections and I was grateful for their suggestions!
This coffe shop is superlative. Plenty of flavor options and specials. The workers are efficient and friendly, the space is great. I really enjoyed the oat matcha with added vanilla.

Whenever I visit home, I like to try new-to-me places. My mom had a gift card for Ready Set and she doesn't drink coffee so I had no problem taking it off of her hands. This place is soooo cute inside. Very bright and bubbly and so are the baristas. Looking at the menu, they seem to really know their stuff when it comes to coffee so I bought some beans which I'm very excited to try at home. I also got their St Paddy's Day matcha drink and it is a work of art. So pretty and delicious!
The vibes are vibing. It's full of the bright sunlight with an open concept and a separate room of tables for more seating. The service is great and baristas are very kind a helpful. I got the iced milk and cookies drink and it tasted good overall. I appreciated the touch of biscoff crumbs on top.
My mom and I wanted festive valentines drinks on valentines day, and we knew this would be the spot! Their drinks are always so photogenic! This was our second time here, but I didn't even realize there was a third section in the back with more seating! Good thing too because the side room was all reserved ! The lattes are fine, but nothing mind-blowing (except how they look!). But they always sound better than they actually are. Our treats were delicious as well! The workers were polite, but not necessarily friendly. Overall, a very lovely experience !

You can tell that they all truly enjoy their jobs and they care about the people in the community. I had a Strawberry Matcha with Oat Milk and it was deeeelicious! It reminded me of strawberry milk but elevated and more refreshing. It was the perfect drink for the spring weather. I can't wait to return!

There's is a small parking lot attached for around 3 cars otherwise it's only street parking. 3/5 price... Regular coffee prices are fine. My specialty coffee from their menu (I didn't make any changes to their menu item) was around $8.5 for a Matcha latte with strawberries which I think is a tad overpriced...BUT it was absolutely delicious and also a stunning instaworthy drink.

UPDATED REVIEW -- I recently visited again in late April 2026. I came in the morning to work. I sat at the back which is the room in the front right when you walk in from the main doors. There is also the main area (center part where you order) that has tables and chairs which is situated when you first walk in and then there is a back area towards the left that can be used as well. So, there are 2 back sections. DRINKS -- They sell matcha, tea, and coffee. I ordered a cup of Storehouse black tea with honey ($4 price, I think). I think the employee added too much honey in my tea because my stomach started hurting a little so I couldn't finish it but that's okay. I later got a mug of warm water which helped soothe my stomach. The cup of tea though is quite expensive but I like to support local businesses (Storehouse Tea is a Cleveland business). FOOD -- I also ordered a Rosemary bagel ($4) with a side of butter (.50 cents). The Rosemary bagel was delicious which isn't surprising because the owners make their own bagels. If you work remote then this coffee shop is for you as they have free wifi and plenty of tables to use. They have lots of chairs and tables laid out in three different sections. The music isn't as loud like most coffee shops in the area so I appreciated that. The back area towards the right only has 2 outlets available but thankfully, I got one to use. If you come with a laptop, make sure your battery is charged or find another seat where there is an outlet. TIP -- They sell packaged coffee to go, some packaged biscuit mix, and cute notebooks. read more

Ready Set's Bonfire Latte tastes just as good as it looks, and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of seating available (there's more beyond the front of the store in my picture). The café had a definite cozy vibe, with tons of families stopping by in addition to your regular offenders, stressed students like yours truly. Would definitely return to try more drinks and enjoy the ambience. It's mostly street parking besides the tiny lot, but my friend said she's never had trouble finding nearby spots. read more

We like to stop a Ready Set Coffee when we are in the Battery Park area. In our opinion their coffee is superior to many local shops and definitely the popular chains. Ready, Set Coffee always has a variety of pastries and food items to complement the coffee. The dining room is comfortable and generally there is a place to sit. They can get very busy and sometimes there is a longer wait. On this particular day they had a Girl Scout troop selling cookies. Of course we had to buy cookies. It is nice to know they support non profit organizations. read more

This was such a lovely place! My friend and I came here for a little breakfast and some good coffee to chat over! We both had never been here, but both plan to come back! We each got a different holiday drinks- she got the gingerbread latte and I got the peppermint one, both were delicious! (The peppermint latte was perfect, not too heavy on the peppermint is always the key!) We each also made our own breakfast sandwiches! Which was awesome for the price (only around $7)! - definitely try the chipotle sauce.... Made the sandwich even better! This truly was such a gem!! They have so much more room than you think, there's even a little hidden room with a few tables behind the front room! A light, bright coffee shop to meet up with a friend or get a little work done. It's unexpectedly sprawling, and includes three rooms with lots of seating. They roast their own beans and their black coffee is good (my usual order). I've seen some seasonal drinks that are visually impressive - clouds on the cup, cats in the foam - and very cute. Seems like they bring in most of their baked goods from Philomena's Bake Shop, though I've seen some other featured suppliers on their Instagram. A few favorites of mine are the blueberry banana muffin and the Bundt cake. I've also had a breakfast biscuit sandwich there which was good. Service is great, everyone I've encountered working there has been super pleasant. Seems like they have a lot of regulars, and I would be one too if I lived in the neighborhood. read more

Really awesome coffee shop that offers amazing latte flavors and really tasty breakfast sandwiches. The only thing I would change about their sandwiches is adding a sauce for more flavor and they would be perfect. The interior is really clean and well laid out. Plenty of space with 2 seating areas to choose from. The decor is stylish and a great place to hang out. To top it all off the service was really friendly and accommodating! My mom's chai tea wasn't hot enough for her liking and they remade it for her. They were even kind enough to let me sample their nitro cold brew and recommend other cool coffee spots in the area. This place is wonderful. It's beautiful inside. Lots of parking - street and mini lot. The latte i got was so good that it took me back to fond memories I had as a child. (Tastes like Christmas in a cup, really surprised me, in the best way.) The berry scone was amazing, I need more! Went back and they didn't have it that day but I tried their breakfast bagel and it was incredible. My very favorite things about this coffee shop is how kind the people who work here are. Oh my goodness! I am SO happy I finally got the chance to try this place out! I have heard so many good things about it! To start off there is more than enough seating, plenty of windows letting in natural sunlight, soft music playing and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere! the women behind the counter were attentive, very kind and swift with their work (also they do beautiful work) Being that it was my first time I was recommended the gorgeous drink you see in the picture! So freaking delicious! my mother who was with me had gotten the cappuccino and said "it was one of the best she ever had," another huge plus for her was that all the drinks were very vegan friendly!!! I had an absolutely wonderful experience, the only ONLY down side is that they close earlier then most coffee shops (and it overlaps with when I work) so I'll only be able to visit during the weekend. read more

I love coming to Ready Set. It's basically become the place that I go to for a coffee on Saturday afternoons to get my weekend started. There's a variety of featured flavored drinks, hot and cold, that change with the season, or you can go for something more traditional, but you basically can't go wrong. They offer baked goods too like muffins and cookies, and they even sell Cleveland Bagel bagels which is awesome because they're really good and this is a great environment to be and to sit down and enjoy one. The atmosphere is nice, the place is clean and inviting and the staff is always really nice. As an added bonus they sell beans so you can make Ready Set coffee at home and they'll grind them up for you and answer any questions you might have. I've gotten several bags from here and the flavor profiles on offer are usually pretty unique. Ready Set is a place for coffee lovers looking for something local, but it's also just a cute place for anyone to sit down and enjoy a coffee or a snack away from home. read more

These guys are the best! Wanting to try a local coffee shop I stopped by here on a Friday morning and was drawn in by the scent of fresh coffee roasting in the back as I entered the shop! The decor is modern and bright. The fresh flowers in jars are a nice touch. The baristas were great with recommendations for someone like me who couldn't decide on what drink to get. They roast and bag their own coffee blends, which are also for sale. You can even buy mugs or a vegan cookbook. Love that they sell locally sourced vegan baked goods and bagels from the Cleveland Bagel Co. I finally settled on the Cloudburst latte, which is a nitro cold brew with oatmilk, agave, and vegan chocolate. This was smooth! Excellent choice for someone who usually gets black coffee and not overly sweet things. The vegan raspberry donut was a nice accompaniment to my latte. Plenty of seating for groups or individuals who want to get some work done. There's even a few metal tables outside too. Free wifi, restrooms available, and a small attached parking lot. This has recently become my favorite coffee spot in town (ties with Rising Star) as the shop is in an amazing location, nestled near Gordon Square, Edgewater, and Lakewood. Ready Set Coffee is charming, beautiful, clean, inviting, and delicious. Their Chiapas roast is incredible and has become my daily morning coffee that I brew at home. It's so smooth and easy to drink. Not only does RSC have great coffee, they also make great espresso drinks, teas, lemonades, and they have food options such as pastries and bagels. I absolutely recommend this place and suggest grabbing a bag of coffee beans to go when you visit. read more

Great spot! I love how creative they are with their money specials, which are always so aesthetically perfect -- the Instagram drinks of your influencer dreams. That said, the drinks don't always taste as good as they look, and they're more expensive than other local coffee shops. THAT said... again, they're much cuter than other local coffee shops? Ha. The staff is also really friendly, and the service is usually pretty quick. I love the minimal but trendy decor, and it's clearly a popular spot, though the staff somehow never seems overwhelmed. I made it my 2022 New Year's resolution to try one "new to me" coffee shop a month. In October I found this beautiful, quaint coffee shop nestled into the hustle and bustle of Gordon Square. Once you walk in. the noise of the street is gone and the aromatics are diving. The big windows bring in a lot of natural light and gives the feeling of a cozy cool vibe. I let the staff know right away that is my first time visiting and they were happy to show me the seasonal menu and suggest a few favorites. I opted for the seasonal drink "Bonfire" which had house-made toasted marshmallow syrup, ginger, and oat milk. The ginger was so different and I love that I could taste it in each sip. I also bought a bag of beans to try at home. This shop would be great for hanging out with friends or spending some of those wfh hours with a delicious cup of coffee. read more

Wow this place rocks. First of all, go for the coffee. Excellent. Service? All top notch knowledgeable and cool staff. Owners (brother-sister combo) on site, one roasting beans in the back, one running everything else, plus two employees. Plenty of seating in 3 different spaces. Walkable to Edgewater, many restaurants, theatre etc in Gordon Square. Beans for home are pricy at $16 or so but very competitive with peer shops, and an incredible variety to boot. Makes for the best gift for a coffee aficionado! Enough food to get you by in the morning. More on the way soon for lunch as well. Will be back! read more

Ready set coffee was coooooooozy. My wife and I shared a maple latte and a cappuccino. The roast used was so chocolaty and flavorful. The maple latte is not to sweet so if that's what you are going for ask for it to be spiced up. We got to meet the owner and we're talked thru the order and what to flavors to expect with the drinks. You can tell the barista here takes her job seriously and we appreciated the craftsmanship. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a sit and stay coffee, chill out and just smell the beans roast, it's a good time. read more
