Very smooth and delicious espresso. I love the macchiato here. Nice spacious shop with plenty of places to work and a nice quieter back area most people seem to forget about. I always like find new places to work away from home and this is a good one. Next time I'll come hungry as there are some good breakfast sandwich options. read more

Amazing coffee, tons of options, super cool and creative drinks to choose from and they have a lot of bakery, with plenty of vegan and gluten free options, and homemade bagels. Super cool brick building, with a clean and modern interior, and the Blueberry Crush Latte was to die for, cold brew, blueberry syrup, oat milk, and ice made a perfectly smooth and refreshing coffee that wasn't too sweet. The vegan peanut butter cookie was awesome and a great pairing with the coffee. Also the matcha and cookies latte was great, strong matcha balanced with oat milk and cookie crumbs on top. read more

This is an AMAZING coffee shop!!! The coffee tasted AMAZING and was priced really good. The people who worked there where so sweet and helpful. I got a OatMilk maple syrup latte and it was SO GOOD!!! Went here with my sister in law for coffee and we will be back! They have a wide array of coffee roasts and a decent selection of different types of beverages. They also sell bagels from Cleveland Bagel and The Roaming Biscuit (I'm about to review them separately because OUT OF THIS WORLD BISCUITS). Saw this place was near our Airbnb and we decided to try it out...and were we amazed and impressed! I had such high hopes for this place since the reviews are all great. I ordered a cup of regular drip coffee and on a whim grabbed a bag of coffee beans to take home without tasting the drip coffee (shame on me). The drip coffee was basically dark brown hot water. As someone who actually enjoys coffee and not all the sugary mixed drinks, I was so disappointed by how tasteless and boring the coffee was. I ended up just throwing it out, it was that bad. I thought maybe when I brewed my own at home I could adjust the ratio of beans to water, but even brewed at a stronger ratio it's clear that the coffee beans are just not good; Completely bland and tasteless. I gave it two stars because the atmosphere in the shop is cute and the staff was very polite and friendly, but ultimately this is not a place for actual coffee lovers. read more

I recently started coming here because it's a lovely place to sit and work on my computer with an iced coffee, but also because it's one of the few places that you can find "loves secret deserts" vegan cookies and treats. I am always made to feel so welcome by the warm and friendly baristas, who always answer any questions I may have. I've been waiting excitedly for the actual storefront to open! Ready Set Coffee sold at one of my Cleveland Bazaar events so I took some home to brew for my coffee-crazy husband, who loved it, and then--while waiting for them to open the shop--they were roasting for a while in my studio building. Ready Set is one of those tucked away coffeeshops in Cleveland. In school, a lot of my peers like to study at the same few coffeeshops, but I have seen very few study at Ready Set. Ready Set is definitely newer, but it for sure is a hidden gem. The coffee is great, there's a lot of seating, and the staff is very sweet. The wifi is also strong and works great. I think Ready Set also has there own roastery that you can see at the coffeeshop, which is pretty cool as well. read more

At 8:30 on a cold Wednesday in January it was the quietest I've ever seen it, with just a few people sitting and others dropping in to pick up to go orders. My husband and I ordered a black coffee, a cortado and a breakfast burrito to split. Points for serving the drinks in real cups for dine-in orders. The burrito is pricey - $16 - but is made to be split between two people. We tried to imagine finishing the whole thing on our own and couldn't, even as the ambitious eaters we are. It comes with a choice of chorizo, bacon or mushrooms and two side sauces, an aioli and a salsa verde. It was greasy and one of the messier things I've eaten in the morning but delicious. I will return to try the breakfast sandwich and the lox panini. I appreciate that they also have a limited bar - love a place you can transition from work day to working happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Another experience worth mentioning: I came in here solo on a busy afternoon once and ordered an iced chai. As I sat down, the woman who made it came out and said "I didn't make the chai concentrate (or whatever it's called) today and it does not look good to me. If you don't like that, I'll make you something else - let me know." Reader, it was not good and she made me something else. Respect the candor and proactivity.
