Had a biggie latte and a sugar cookie

Came to coffee therapy on a very busy Saturday morning with a friend of mine. The parking lot was completely full and I had to wait for somebody to pull out before I could pull into a space, however, the line inside of coffee therapy went super quick and also the making of my vanilla latte was super quick as well. The coffee was great - - I also did have a doughnut from Becker's donuts, which was of course delicious. I love that they have bakery from a bunch of different places in the area, even some out of the area!!!' The only negative I see about coffee therapy was because of it being so small if it was as crowded on bad weather days there are not a lot of tables to sit at luckily because the weather was beautiful, We were able to sit outside on the picnic tables that they provided in a beautiful shaded area. The other big negative about coffee therapy, which they can't control ( I guess ) was that it was filled with a bunch of children. I would say ages seven and below running around and screaming, while the parents we're just chatting with their friends - - it was very loud and I could barely hear my friend talking to me another reason why we went outside..

A very ecclectic shop. Flavors were robust, and I love the different beans they use. I normally don't get a danish or sweet but they had homemade sweets there that were FIRE! Think that wad the smore bar. Will go back as I'm frequently in that area.

Surfer vibes with a beachy inspired menu featuring oat milk! Loved my Cuban Iced Latte! Delicious pastries by Leavened Cle! Such a cute spot with lots of parking available! The staff were so friendly and helpful with menu selection!

Cutest place! The coffee is good and the workers are nice. The WiFi worked well when I brought my laptop to work.

Stop into Coffee Therapy. There is good service, great coffee, yummy pastries & chill vibes. For my bi-weekly session, I usually like to order a cup of Caramel Therapy with an extra shot of espresso & with oat milk. This has been crucial element in achieving holistic balance in my life.

I have somehow never been here before and finally fixed that recently. Having several errands to run, I stopped here for a to-go coffee. The interior isn't overly large but it's cute and had plenty of seating. They had your standard menu along with some seasonal drinks, I ordered the Merry Mint Mocha which tasted exactly as it sounds. They have pastries from Leavened and donuts from Beckers along with other pastries and cookies. I also grabbed a Christmas tree sugar cookie honestly because it looked adorable and I was on a festive mood. Overall a solid place to stop by with bonus points for having it's own parking lot.

Great coffee shop!! Seating available to work or meet with people. Loved my coffee. They also have baked goods from Leavened they warm up.

What a great atmosphere and friendly staff! I got a vanilla cold brew and two baked goodies. The coffee was perfect. The white chocolate blueberry scone was heavenly, moist, dense, with a crumbly sweet topping.

I never thought I could love a cafe so much. Locals and out-of-town folks might come to Coffee Therapy for its surfer-themed aesthetic and vibes... the high quality coffee/tea beverage selection, the cozy family-owned feel, and the values of this business that are oh-so-evident when walking in the front door. I love that the default milk is oat and that there are several plant-based options (+ related books to peruse). Service is always exemplary; staff are behind kind. Highly recommend Coffee Therapy to anyone interested in a solid cafe experience.

This is a sweet coffee shop in Westlake that has innovative coffee drinks that all feature oat milk. We no longer live in Cle but this is near my Dads house when we visit and we always make a point to go. The service is friendly and honestly the drinks are great. They can be on the sweet side but the oat milk balances it so well. I'm not an oat milk fan, but decided to try it since that is their signature. In these drinks I like it a lot! They also have yummy pastries. I live in California and the interior reminds me of a coffee shop you'd find in a surf shop- so fun!

I finished my Santa 5K and decided to look for a cute coffee shop to stop by as a little treat for finishing the race in the cold! I found this one about 10 minutes away from Crocker park. Had a very hole in the wall vibe. I really liked the interior - it was very quaint and the chairs were super comfortable. I also thought it was cool how donuts and bagels were placed outside the cash register and were ready made for customers to just grab and pay for! I got the egg and cheese everything bagel and tbh it was extremely mediocre for an $8 bagel, maybe it was just the one I had but even warmed up it wasn't the best for the steep price. The latte made up for it though, looks like they use homemade syrups shipped from somewhere locally but it wasn't super sweet or artificial which was perfect for me. Overall I'd go again, I just wouldn't get a bagel.

Coffee was delicious and the service was amazing. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. I love the setup. The coffee was reasonably priced.

I visited Shibam Coffee this week, on Monday, 8 June 2026 to work for a few hours. It was cold inside but thankfully I had a light jacket. I ordered the Jubani ($5), a light roast Yemeni coffee, and I also ordered also a slice of baklava ($6). The Jubani coffee was good which is great because I'm actually not a coffee drinker but the flavour wasn't as strong as I noticed when I tried it at a different Yemeni coffee shop. I still liked the Jubani coffee and I added some sugar to it. The baklava was delicious as expected but slightly too cold. Although I wasn't greeted when I entered, the young man working said hi after I said hello. Another employee kindly took my photo next to the Shibam Coffee sign/logo that was inside. Weirdly, there was no trash can inside so to get rid of the napkin that I used, I had to ask an employee to throw it away for me behind the service counter. There is a trash can in the bathroom though. Overall, if you haven't experienced a Yemen, based coffee shop then visit Shibam Coffee. The Adeni tea, a popular item, is on their menu but I haven't had it at Shibam yet (I have had the Adeni tea many times before at other Yemen coffee shops). Another Yemeni coffee shop in Cleveland is my favourite but Shibam is good too. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 127/250 total reviews in 2026 - 968 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 11 June 2026

Parking can be challenging, there is a very small lot in front with 2 regular spaces and 1 handicap space; plus there are several spots on the street, all of which were full. I ended up parking on the nearby side street by the Burger King. Inside the cafe there are two distinct sides, the right side is set up as a coffee shop with the service counter, some high top tables and some comfortable seating; the left side is set up as a dining area with a bar. The decor is bright and modern with some touches of whimsy, overall very nice and comfortable, the kind of place you can relax and take your time. The menu is set up with a number of categories: breakfast, paninis, salads, wraps, flatbreads, wafflesicles and drinks. Prices are reasonable and there are some interesting items. I had a certificate for $20 so I ordered the Smashed Egg Avocado Bagel, the Bang Bang Shrimp Wrap and a big Chocolate Chip Cookie. The staff was great getting the certificate redeemed and guiding me through the menu. The food came out in a very timely manner, presentation was simple and straightforward. I had plenty of food for a very nice lunch. The egg and avocado bagel was interesting, the bagel was a bit soft for my preference, it was topped with a generous spread of egg and avocado mix plus some fresh spinach leaves. A very nice and healthy breakfast sandwich, a bit milder in flavor then I prefer, but good. The shrimp wrap was a good sized flour wrap around cold cooked shrimp with shredded cabbage and a great spicy sauce that perfectly complimented the wrap. This was excellent, the cool meaty shrimp contrasting with the crunchy cabbage and the zippy creamy sauce. I would highly recommend this if you like a bit of spice. The warm cookie was a great way to finish my lunch, very soft and gooey, packed with high quality chocolate chunks. About the only issue I had with the cookie was that it was hard to eat with just my hands, I ended up using the fork for most of the cookie. Jade Owl Cafe is a great local place to grab some high quality food, pastries and drinks. It is woman and minority owned, very well thought out and executed. The food is fresh and tasty, service was great and the overall experience was just what you could expect from a cafe. If you are in the area give them a try.

There was a giant garage door which will be so nice to have open in nicer weather!! We were also wondering if the mugs will be switched out for glasses when it's iced coffee season! I tried their Jubani, a light roast coffee and it is out of this world. Out of all the Yemen-based coffee shops in Cleveland, QAHWAH HOUSE is my favourite. HISTORY -- They are the original YEMENI coffee shop that existed in the United States, the first. They offer premium Organic Coffee from an 8th generation family coffee farm in Yemen. Qahwah House brought their coffee from Yemen to the United States in 2017 and have grown ever since with locations in over 10 U.S. states. They have 2 locations right now in Columbus, Ohio and 1 location in Cleveland. They are still expanding across the U.S. AMBIANCE -- Chic and cute. Beautiful inside with lovely light fixtures, amazing pictures on the wall of their famers handling the coffee beans, and an overall great design. Right in the center of the coffee shop on the wall is a lovely map of the world that shows the distribution of coffee over the years. TEA/COFFEE -- Their coffee beans are hand picked by humans in Yemen and sun dried on the roof of houses. The beans are a green colour and they use an elaborate and specific process to grind/roast the coffee. I tried the Adeni tea which is excellent plus I asked for light sugar. Because I sat in store, the tea came in a tea pot plus a small cup for me to drink it with. The tea pot is a great idea because it has a small candle underneath it to keep the tea warm. I was given a sample of their Jubani coffee which I absolutely loved. The Jubani is a light roast coffee with ginger, cardamom and cinnamon. The Jubani is very good and I highly recommend it. I'm not a coffee drinker but the Jubani blew me away with the taste. PASTRIES -- They also sell different types of sweet and savory pastries. I got a tomato and olive pastry while I sat in and it was delicious. I also got the Sabaya ($5) which is a light pastry that is supposed to have butter inside but I didn't taste any butter. The Sabaya comes with a side of what appears to be honey or syrup. The Sabaya tasted dry but I only ate it later that night or the next evening (I didn't finish it). SERVICE -- is absolutely outstanding, in my opinion. Everyone that I met was super nice and friendly. Tony, I think that was his name, explained to be the process of how the coffee is roasted in this big machine that sits right at the entrance to the store. He showed me the coffee machine. He told me so many interesting facts about their coffee and about Qahwah House in general which I've already highlighted/written in this review. When I arrived and told them it was my first time here but I don't drink coffee, an hour and a half later or so, I was brought a sample of their Jubani coffee. I was surprised yet happy that they brought me a coffee sample plus I loved the Jubani coffee. With friendly and excellent service, amazing coffee and tea, good wifi, and plenty of tables/chairs, I will definitely be back. I've come a few times now and everything I've gotten so far has been good. My favorite drinks are probably the pistachio latte, mofawar, adeni chai. There's a promotion May 1-14 (2026) with their special (black sesame latte) where you can get 50% off of you order off their app. There wasn't an issue ordering off the app, the only thing is that if you order off the app, you don't get the restaurant pager/buzzer so you may have to check in at the register to see if they got the order, which is what I did since it was pretty busy. Ended with the black sesame latte which was aesthetically pleasing like their other drinks--though warning if you don't like the gritty texture like all black sesame drinks are, then maybe this isn't for you. Pistachio latte is still my favorite, but maybe I'll try this again with regular sweetness instead of light. Parking available and free as it's in a strip mall. Staff are nice. Really comfortable sitting space, plenty of tables with people socializing or doing work. Just be warned that it may not be the best working environment at night when more people come to socialize and also celebrate special occasions. Overall solid cafe choice for drinks/sweets/environment. Always full of people when I visit.

I chuckle at all the names coffeehouses come up with that have the word grind or ground in them. It's a lot like how places that cut hair seem to work in the word(s) sheer and/or shear. The college here is private Baldwin-Wallace University which may have had a religious denomination closer to its founding, but, at this juncture, appears to be more secular. It's actually a few miles east of Rise and Grind, closer to the older town center, and offers instruction in a broader range of fields than one might expect. I saw that this coffeehouse got very good reviews and, with its big parking lot near a major gym, I thought I'd take a look. Parking was easy and, upon entering, one sees it's both a physically and personally welcoming place. The store is lengthy, so one can sit in the front half or the back half, which is more suitable for larger groups, but I chose the table I selected for its proximity to outlets and the counter. On what was a warmer day, I opted for iced tea and an orange frosted donut. The brand of unsweetened iced tea was very good and the orange donut was delicious. I could have eaten another one. Beyond chocolate donuts, this is probably my favorite flavor and one doesn't often come across orange frosted donuts. The service was very amicable. The prices are in line with what others running independent coffeehouses would charge. In fact, I'm starting to like independent coffeehouses more and more for a multitude of reasons, one being that they now handily compete with the chains and have more character. Rise and Grind falls in between 4 and 5 stars, but it tilts to 5 stars because of the tidiness and pleasing ambiance of the store, the apparent vibe that this is a labor of love for the proprietors, and even for having that orange frosted donut.

I finally visited Paris Baguette in February 2026 and I arrived around 6:30am. They opened this Avon, Ohio location in June 2025. I visited a second time in March 2026. Paris Baguette is owned by a South Korean food group, much to my surprise. They only have about 2 locations in Paris, France. Most of their locations are in Asia (majority in South Korea). Other locations are in North America and Europe. ORDER -- Walk in and to your left are tongs and a tray. Pick out your items, place them on the try, then head to the counter to pay for them. Sit inside and enjoy the delicate bites or take your order to go. PASTRIES/BREAD -- Arrive early to get pastries because they normally sell out. They sell milk buns (bread) which is popular in Asia. There are a variety of pastries to choose from. During my 2 visits, I got the ham & cheese pastry ($5), Fruit Bite -- Raspberry ($3.00), a sweet potato pastry ($4) which I got for free because of their free pastry offer, and a pepperoni pastry ($5.69). All of the pastries that I ate were delicious. My favourites were the sweet potato pasty and the ham & cheese pastry. The sweet potato pastry is described as a "buttery twisted pastry with sweet potato and custard cream, sprinkled with black sesame seeds." -- this is a unique and tasty pastry. I noticed cakes for sale by the slice and whole cakes up at the counter. PRICES - Fair and standard. Yes, it will be expensive but that isn't surprising as most bakeries aren't cheap. The reviews complaining about prices should just be aware that this isn't a full asian bakery where the prices tend to be a bit lower. This is a mix of European and Asian. In addition, bakeries will not be cheap. SEATING -- This is a smaller cafe but there are about 7 tables and chairs to sit on plus a counter at the back to sit on. Overall, their baked goods are delicious and fresh plus the bakery is clean. Customer service has always been attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back. The only downside is if you arrive late, you may not have any options left to choose from plus the baked goods may not be as fresh as evident from my 2nd visit in March 2026 when I arrived after 6:30pm and they only had a few pastry options left. TIP 1 -- If you order the ham & cheese pastry, just simple ask them to heat it up for a few seconds before you eat it which is what I did. Otherwise, it won't taste as good because it will be cold as their baked goods are placed in display cases all day. Who wants to eat cold ham and cheese? Not me (haha). TIP 2 -- Download their app to get a free pastry with a purchase. The less valued item will be free. The sweet potato pastry ($4) that I got was free when I visited in March 2026. If you don't want to download their app, I was handed a sheet of paper with discounts after I ordered so be sure to ask for it when you are paying for your items. Only chocolate flavors available...again, would be way better in raspberry or peach or something). The ham and cheese croissant looked like it would be so good but alas, it was kind of stiff and not as fresh. BF ordered the Korean beef grilled cheese and they didn't even use brioche buns. It was $11.99! Lawd have mercy, the prices were even higher than Tous les jour's! Overall freshness and taste couldn't compare to Tous les jour. Nothing here was as good as the croque monsieur. They did have a lot of variety but the store was kind of smaller than expected. The very similar strawberries n' cream croissant that is $5 something at Tous les jour is a whopping $6.10 here. Plus the high tax that they charge, it seemed criminal to ask for a tip on top of that. There are trays and tongs for you to grab everything for yourself. I guess I should tip myself since I served and cleaned my area. I'm glad I bundled this stop with Avon parks because otherwise it's 40+min out of the way for me. I'll stick with my Tous les jour until the next Asian bakery opens on the east side!
