It's easy to support small businesses when their product is actually very good and this is one. Granted, I'm a coffee only girl, rarely getting breakfast sandwiches or pastries so I can't comment on that, but I've never had a bad coffee drink here and they have the best matcha around (I always get their seasonal cold foam on top--so far: strawberry, watermelon!! and for winter, cranberry cold foam. Believe me, it's a dynamite combination). If you buy coffee more than a couple days a week like me, their rewards are totally worth it. After 50$, free drink!! Which by comparison to dunkin and starbies, is a steal. Their interior is a little more modern, which isn't really my taste, but that is only a very minor thing if you forced me to complain about something, still plenty room for sitting and enjoying your drink. Great coffee friendly people I thought the food was on point to like the breakfast Sammy's

I was in the area on an errand and my absolutely favorite thing to do is to stop by a local coffee spot. Inside there's plenty of seating in an open floor plan to plop down and get some work done. But I was here for the coffee. Their menu felt quite large that morning (perhaps I wasn't awake enough yet, hence the coffee) but I opted for one of their specialty lattes, the s'mores one. It always feels like a bit of a hit or miss getting a specialty latte that looks quite sweet based on the description - I love fun sweet lattes but I dislike when they're overly sweet and taste syrup-y (high maintenance, I know). Thankfully this was lovely! Yes it was sweet but I could actually taste the coffee. I got a 16 oz to go as I don't think they did smaller sizes. Overall lovely coffee and it's just a shame I couldn't stay to try out their food menu. No photo of my coffee as it's a to-go cup...I never find those very useful unless the cup is fun. read more

First time stopping into The Grounded Bean. Very aesthetically pleasing decor and cozy environment to sit and enjoy your beverage. I thought the menu was pretty sparse, and would've liked to see more pastry options. We ordered a green tea lemonade and strawberry cold foam matcha. Service was friendly, but slow. The lemonade came out after a short wait but it was over 10 minutes before the matcha was served. We'll give it another try! read more

So far, so good. Very new coffee shop in Brunswick in the former Gyro George location. They did a nice job of cleaning and upgrading the store. I have tried their iced coffee a few times and each time: staff were friendly, the order was correct, speedily prepared, and was delicious. In the future I'll try food, but for now (summer) it's iced coffee from their handy drive up window. read more

What a wonderful local coffee shop, a hidden gem! The inside is open and spacious, a lot of people seemed to use it as a place to study as well. It was also cool to see that there is an drive through option as well. I opted for a seasonal iced latte and it was delicious! I also had their cinnamon roll which was yummy. It's so nice to have a local place that is something different than the usual chains. Glad we found this place, and adding it to our weekend coffee rotation! read more

This was my wifi haven while in town visiting family. Loved the seasonal coffee specials. Had a butterscotch latte and smores, and both were delicious. I'm not usually a sweet coffee person but they were not overly sweet. And truly appreciate the messages on the cup, really makes it special. read more

Well first I'll start with the good stuff the staff is very nice and pleasant and it's a cute place but I just feel they could up their game by a lot with some pointers. For one their baked goods are most likely bought at a store they are just palm oil muffins basically sorry to say but their options there are really lacking the waffles look like pre packaged waffles but I could be wrong. This place could be like top notch with Jsut a bit more effort. They used to make these egg pastries they said people stopped buying so they stopped providing them but I think that's such a shame because now it looks like everything they have there as far as food goes is pre packaged and bought and not made but they have a great kitchen there . They could probably fill the space in with more tables or a couple lounge couches it's so open because it's a big space so just as some advice design was I would comfy it out in there so more people wanna go to relax or do their school work or something. I also would recommend asking if people want something warmed up or serves cold as far as the food goes cause the muffin was cold but not sure how good it would be warmed up since its store bought anyways palm oil normally doesn't do well reheated just turns things even more soggy like it already was . I also would ask if people want whip on their drinks my dad got a fruit smoothy wanting to go the healthy route and they filled the top with so much whip and that's Jsut full of chemicals too so kind of counters the opt for going healthy to get a smoothie.... I donno sorry in my opinion I'll prob not go back here knowing they just have pre packaged bought food. I would however go back if they did start making their own home made stuff from a place of love and from scratch so it's healthier . But to end it nicely again the staff was great and very nice I Jsut think this place could knock it out of the ball park with a little more effort and personal touch from scratch made food and not from a store. read more

LOVE! The staff is very friendly and coffee is amazing! Drive-thru service is always a plus. Newer shop I believe so lost one star on speed of service, not super slow not super fast, and drive-thru speaker. Have to yell and repeat myself almost every time I order.
