Bialy's Bagels is a small, no frills, budget friendly bagel shop. It's a pick up location only, no…read moretables/table-side service available. You'll find interesting bagel flavors here (such as egg, cinnamon cranberry, and onion) and merch (tees, hoodies, Mish Mosh seasoning, greeting cards, and stickers). My order: - Asiago Bagel - Toasted with Smokie Salmon Schmear ($5) - Bagel was over toasted, dry, and too salty. Schmear was more like lightly whipped cream cheese, not flavorful. Barely there salmon is the best way to describe it. - Cinnamon Cranberry Bagel with Brown Sugar Cinnamon Schmear ($5) - Bagel tasted like plain bagel. Schmear very light on flavor. - Mish Mosh Bagel ($2) - Plain, not toasted. It's their version of everything bagel. I ordered this bagel because I overheard it being a popular choice while waiting for my order. It's way too salty, and I love salt. It didn't taste freshly made this morning and tasted not fully made inside. - Coffee ($2.50 for 2 small coffees): Flavorless and barely warm coffee. The menu is pretty well outlined on multiple signs at checkout. It clearly indicates up charges and premium topics. If you purchase bagels dozen, you'll get one bagel for free. Other options are sammies, bialy wheels, and bialy sticks. Most customers ordered baker dozen during my visit. Service: Service was alright. I felt a lot of pressure to order (especially as the first timer). Other guests were pretty rushed too. Checkout did not make much sense too. If you order a dozen bagels, they'll take your order in line. If you order a single bagel with schmear or sandwiches, you must go to the checkout counter and repeat your entire order. Service was quick, my order was up quickly and all customers were addressed in a timely manner. Parking: Parking lots are available in the front and the back of the store. The bagel shop is in a little strip mall area. If you're looking for a wallet-friendly bagel, this is the place to be. If you're looking for bold flavors or more standard bagel experience, it's probably best to venture out. I unfortunately personally didn't enjoy any part of my meal but appreciated the low prices.

It was like watching a well oiled machine in action. The atmosphere instantly felt nostalgic and brought me right back home to the hustle and bustle of New York City What stood out immediately was the staff. Even though they were incredibly busy, every single person was friendly and took the time to greet customers as they walked through the door. That kind of hospitality is becoming rare these days, and it did not go unnoticed. I also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who was an absolute delight. As someone who regularly interacts with business owners, I can confidently say this owner is a gem. Genuine, approachable, and incredibly responsive. qualities that are harder and harder to find these days. The bagels themselves are made fresh every day starting at 4:00 a.m., and they're even cut on-site right in front of you when you order them. You can truly taste the difference! During my visit, I tried the Pizza Bagel with pesto cream cheese paired with The Heights. I also had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch with sweet cream cheese and the OG. Every single one was outstanding. And this next part almost pains me to admit as a lifelong New York bagel loyalist... I think I like JB Bagelry's bagels better than any bagel I've had in New York. Yes, I said it. As someone who has spent years insisting that New York has the best bagels in the world, this was not an easy conclusion to come to. But these bagels are simply that good. In fact, they were so good that we came back the very next day!!!!! If you're anywhere near Cleveland, do yourself a favor and go. JB Bagelry isn't just serving great bagels, it's delivering the kind of experience that keeps people coming back.

I got a nice, large, and salty pretzel bagel with a light swipe cherry cordial cream cheese. The bagel itself was $1.80 but adding the cream cheese made it over $4. I didn't love the fact that the cream cheese was more expensive than the bagel itself. It was good cream cheese but surprisingly not as cherry forward as I expected. I sadly forgot to take pictures but the interior is large and clean with lots of places to sit and eat. I went during the morning bagel rush so I did have to wait in a line, but it went fast. I am glad I got to try the pretzel bagel here and recommend this spot for other bagel lovers in the Cleveland area.

While I'll always dearly miss Zina's, I love that Cocky's is now closer to home. It well fills the good bagel void on the East Side. SPACE: This cafe is an open and casual space. It has a lot of remnants of Zina's cafe such as light fixtures and booth-like seating. Then there's fun and vibrant yellow Cocky's branding. You'll see similarities with the Flats location in terms of neon sign and sunflowers. The cafe is on the smaller side but has about 6 tables accommodating various guests - couples or big groups. It's nice and intimate. During my visit there were plenty of customers (mostly families). Large party that was there during my visit was super comfortable. So, come alone, with company, or in a big group. The cafe is centrally located in University Heights and is very convenient when you're running errands or doing grocery shopping. I stopped in right after getting hungry after grocery shopping. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu resembles other Cocky's locations - bagels and coffee. You'll won't find alcohol on the menu in case you're looking for mimosas and so on (at least maybe not yet). You order at the counter and select the table. I ordered The Lox ($13) and a large plain coffee. The Lox pleasantly surprised me! It was probably the best bagel sandwich I've had at any Cocky's location. Generous layers of ingredients and amazing taste. Fish tasted especially amazing and had thick pieces. Bagel was very fresh! I remember having good bagels at Cocky's but this was next level amazing! Five stars on the bagel! Other guests during my visit raved about their food too and even ordered seconds. SERVICE: Service is very friendly and welcoming! The staff communicates with the guests in a very warm manner. The friendliest experience I've had at Cocky's! So attentive! I can already predict that many of my mornings will begin at Cocky's! I love that they're really committing to tasty food and great service at this location! I love the suburban quieter vibes here too! Check it out next time you're craving brunch!

The only reason I gave them a 2 was because our server (when she finally showed up) tried hard to be sweet. I was a little apprehensive when we walked in and there was only two guys in the whole place, and they were drinking their lunch. We seated ourselves, because there was no one at the door and no instructions, so we didn't know what else to do. We sat in clear view of the bar so the bartender, who was the only employee visible, could see us easily. She glanced over a couple times, tinkered around behind the bar, and talked on her phone. But never acknowledged us. We decided to sit for up to 5 minutes and if nothing happened we would just leave. Finally, the establishment's sole employee wandered over with menus and water and thanked us for being patient... Really? My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich and I ordered a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese and honey. We both ordered coffee. Our food showed up quickly enough. My wife's looked and tasted pretty good. Mine showed up as a toasted bagel with honey... no cream cheese? Our server was kind enough to bring me my cream cheese when I requested it. And the bagel was okay after that. I could tell just looking at it that the coffee was going to be a real experience. It was as black as tar. And even after 3 creams, that's exactly what it tasted like... Tar. It was horrible! I don't know what to tell you. Other people seemed to like this place. Who am I to argue with their experience. All I can tell you is my experience was terrible. We're writing this place off.
