I have to give this place another try, to be fair. It is tucked into a strip mall and they make a variety of bagel sandwiches to go in the morning. One thing that threw me off is, it was the first bagel place I have ever been to that I couldn't see the bagels- they weren't in wire baskets, out on display!!! I ordered an egg on an everything bagel- they have about five varieties, one of which was maple- (?)- don't think that would pass at Zabar's, but it's forward-thinking...sadly, by the time I got to work, a strange odor had turned my stomach. I love how the bagel sandwich menu lets you pick between multiple bagel options with a unique "jalapeno cheddar" option that looks and tastes made to order in that they take pickled jalapeños and melt cheddar cheese on top. First time I got the Italian and the steak egg cheese. This time I got the loaded big daddy breakfast. Loved the Italian but "super loved" the big daddy. Poor experience. I arrived and was greeted at the counter. Not a warm greeting, not friendly. The worker said almost nothing. I ordered a Cocky Signature Sammie on a bagel for $10. I asked for the bagel to be toasted. It was served warm but not toasted. The sandwich was tasty but the tomato was green/yellow and not red at all. The drink options were very limited. I asked if they had WiFi available and they answered yes. I attempted to connect but the WiFi was inop. I asked for help to connect. The worker said "It should be working...". Not helpful at all. It was not working. As I was finishing my meal, a woman walked in waiting on her sandwich. She was very loud and had her speakerphone on high volume. She continued talking about child support and going to jail and not getting her medicine. The entire restaurant heard the whole conversation. Was really excited to try this place, it combines two of my favorite things: bagels and booze. The outdoor area is great, and the indoor bar overlooks the patio, creating a laid-back, inviting vibe. The bagels did not disappoint. I ordered The Big Daddy, which came stacked with bacon, sausage, egg, a hash brown, and garlic herb cream cheese. The hash brown really elevated the sandwich. I'd recommend adding it to any sandwich that doesn't already include it. The only downside was the service. Despite the place being nearly empty, the staff showed little attention or care. It was disappointing, especially considering a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. I don't mind automatic tips in general, but it should be clearly communicated upfront, either by the staff or visibly posted. I usually tip above 20%, but the lack of transparency and service made it feel off-putting. Unfortunately, that experience might keep me from returning or recommending it to others. read more

This was a really cute indoor/outdoor breakfast spot in the Flats! My friends went here for brunch and got the Frenchie (pictured) and a regular bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese spread. Both were delicious and service was good. Only four stars because their soda was flat and it was kind of expensive for a bagel place because of the service component ($17 for one Frenchie + a soda + tip). It took a really long time to get our food, which sometimes happens with pizza bagels at other places. But then they forgot to put cream cheese and my daughter's bagel which luckily I was able to get fixed before we left. When I finally got to open mine after driving to our destination, I realized they put American cheese (my least favorite cheese) on my bagel when I asked for just cream cheese. The north Olmsted location is still busy but it's a lot easier to find parking and get a table than the flats location. Keep in mind, bagels do take about 10-15 minutes from order to your table but they are delicious. There aren't bagel sandwiches like cocky around here. The sandwiches are creative and the menu options are large. The ingredients do taste fresh and there is a good ratio of toppings to bread. They are known for their jalaeverything which is an everything bagel with jalapeños on top. MUST HAVE. It's so good and I don't know anywhere else that sells it. read more

Nice selection available for vegans and meat lovers with a cool space to hangout in. I got the jalapeño everything bagel with the popper cream cheese and it a great amount of heat while still being very flavorful. The açaí bowl was large and came in a plastic container which is nice for leftovers. Orders are taken at the counter by a friendly staff member. They will bring your food out to you when it's ready. The service is always really good! I couldn't even pick a favorite item. I love "the sausage party for breakfast. I recently tried their breakfast hash browns- perfection!! For lunch I like either the "dirty" or the "cocky's club". I've also had the Mac n cheese bite. If I could do NEGATIVE stars for service, I would. I work at a hospital, so you know we order food a lot (through Door dash and other apps). The nurses and I ordered food from Cocky's for the second and last time. The food here is so good but I feel like I have to be there and supervise to ensure my order is correct and organized. Both orders we spent over $100 and yesterday was the last time. We ordered different items including kettle chips that were not homemade but still charged $2.50, sandwiches THAT WERE MADE WRONG, 4 orders of buffalo chicken dip and bagel chips that were ROCK HARD and thrown in ONE giant bag that needed to be split up amongst nursing. Last time we ordered Gluten free bagel chips with our Buffalo chicken dip, along with other flavors of bagel chips and those were not included. Just plain. AND WE HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR GLUTEN FREE!! Needless to say, my coworker could not have eat her food due to unknown gluten. Then after ordering $100 worth of food, NOTHING WAS LABELED with names after we specifically called and asked them to do that. I mean honestly, after spending so much money and hyping up my coworkers to get Cocky's both times, this was a horrible disappointment. No one knew whose food was whose. And when we called the first time to talk to someone, it was impossible to reach anyone. Then when we did speak to someone, they simply said "sorry". SORRY?! Do you know how much door dash is? I expect to get cold food when receiving it on someone else's time, but completely wrong food?? Food made incorrectly, that someone has an allergy to... and you say SORRY? No, we want a refund. Half of us spent money and didn't get to eat. The customer service sucks and I work at multiple hospitals, so I will be sure to let them all know that Cockys does not care about their customers. read more

More than a bagel shoppe! Local, funky, scratch made deliciousness...pretty much sums it up. This was my first time stopping at the North Olmsted location, typically I try and get a bagel sandwich when I see the truck out and about. Great atmosphere, funky and eclectic vibe with a touch of fluorescent tube lighting make it worth the stop. The kitchen staff were friendly and quick, given the amount of pickup, in-house and to-go orders they received. I opted for take out and the sandwiches snd fries stayed hot, which is no easy feat, for the drive home. I ordered the Turkey Club on an everything bagel, an avocado everything bagel with fried egg, with 2 sides of fries. Clearly, they were delicious, I never got the chance to take a picture. The avocado was fresh, seasoned perfectly and the Cocky's sauce had the right amount of kick. Loved it! Run to Cocky's, whether it's in North Olmsted, the Flats location, or the food truck during the warmer months you will not be disappointed. The bagels just keep getting better. read more
