So good. Once you have a Roaming Biscuit biscuit you'll wonder why all breakfast (and other) sandwiches don't come standard pimiento cheese. The biscuit Queen Shawnda was been working most weekends I've visited the Ohio City location and she is a delight. You can't go wrong with the OG, though the specials I've seen on the board have also been very tempting. Sometimes brisket is involved. Go forth, start your day with a biscuit and, on a weather-appropriate morning, enjoy it with a coffee from neighboring Rising Star outside the firehouse. You won't regret it.

Friendly staff. Quaint location. I initially tried roaming biscuit at an event for Women's History Month. The owner was so kind. That was in March but I remembered the yummy biscuit and jam. Fast forward, I'm in Tremont and mentioned I'm hungry. I came by recommendation and was not disappointed. I chose the brisket and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was so tasty. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely run it back and try something else.

My friend recommended this place to me and I decided to hop on over and give it a go!!!! I was dead set on trying their bacon sandwich but when I saw brisket on their menu.... Well... the heart wants what the heart wants right? It was the perfect sized sandwich for breakfast!!! And I watched him cook and toast everything in front of me!! It was delicious, the biscuit itself was buttery/warm and the brisket was perfect!!! I also appreciated how he cooked the egg into a patty like shape so that it doesn't all fall out when you bite into the sandwich The place itself is really small, but the two men working were so sweet and really helpful!! They made sure everything was perfect before I left! I cannot wait to come back and try more!!!!

I was introduced to the Roaming Biscuit this summer and have gone back many times and can happily say the quality is consistently 10/10. I get the OG with American cheese and it's the perfect creamy crunchy bite. I love adding hot sauce to pull it all together. My friends get their sandwiches with pimento cheese and want me to tell you the strongly recommended pimento on the beef sandwich. Service is fast and it's an easy order and go situation. Feels like a place only locals know (I'm new to Cleveland, so I'm a bad judge) in that special familiar face, secret gem way. A must try for Sunday mornings.

Stopped here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. So glad we did! Small space near west side market, but there was plenty of street parking. It is take out only, no where to sit inside. They do have online ordering which may be worthwhile as they were busy. We didn't have to wait long. The staff were very friendly. We ordered brisket and cheese biscuit and the OG with American cheese. Both were delicious and we were particularly impressed with the brisket! We would definitely return.

Met the owner at a recent Yelp event, and we enjoyed her food options there so it prompted us to visit her nearby (to where we live) brick and mortar shop. Heading out to a Metroparks nature walk and needed a quick bite, so the timing for this visit was perfect. We decided to order an O.G. and a brisket sandwich options and share then at their small window counter (not seating, just this little walk-up counter). Chef got busy making our goodies as we chatted and perused the space. They offer bottled beverages (nothing hot) and both savory and sweet biscuit options. You can also purchase a variety of jams and honey. The sandwiches came out nice and hot and we dug in. Each biscuit was topped with fluffy eggs and melted cheese (your choice of several) then the protein...bacon on the O.G. and sliced brisket on the other. Each was super-filling and really hit the spot as we prepared for a snowy walk through the Metroparks. So glad we finally made it out to this cute little business, please drop by and help this small business thrive. I know we will!

I eat here once a week as a weekend treat. It's delicious and convenient. Pimento cheese is a must. The breakfast sandwich is big and comes out hot and fresh each time.

5 Stars, not given lightly by me. We heard about this place from Tiktok and decided to drive the hour to see what was up. Staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly to first timers, and the owner was quite lovely. The place was clean, bright and just what we needed for breakfast. Perhaps a downside was no seating but we were going shopping so it wasn't a big deal. The food though was wow. We ordered the Brisket biscuit, lemon bar, and biscuits and gravy special (specials aren't always available). The biscuits and gravy was very reminiscent of biscuits and heavy grits I had in Louisiana, and geez they were amazing. The best brisket I've had in Ohio was at Landmark in Lakewood and this was easily on par with them, and the lemon was incredible. The flavor combinations exhibited clearly show the talent of the owner and I can see why Maria Cribbs and other Cleveland celebs have rated it so highly.

Loved it here! Staff were super friendly and kind! They let me know about all the specials. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit - wow! The bacon was so thick!!!! I really got the bang for my buck. The cheese was melted, biscuit was a good size! Everything I got was amazing.

We were walking around Ohio City to explore and fill some time before our intended restaurant opened. As we were browsing, we saw a line of people forming in front of The Roaming Biscuit. Naturally, we had to take a peek. I'm normally pretty skeptical of biscuits outside of the South but the operation looked pretty interesting, with (I believe) a husband and wife team slinging out some delicious looking food. The interior of the store is quite sparse, as if they owners had just moved to this address. There's basically just a cabinet with the store goods, the menu, and a single counter to stand and eat at along the window. The kitchen in the back looked a bit disorganized and made me wonder if this was a temporary pop-up rather than a permanent fixture. Maybe they are still moving in? At any rate, we decided to hold off getting anything since we still had our other plans, but we put The Roaming Biscuit on our to-try list. It turned out the restaurant we wanted to go to had some oven issues and was missing a couple of the major items that we wanted to eat. We decided only to get a single entree there and head back to The Roaming Biscuit to complete our meal. We weren't too hungry and got a single biscuit to share. Humble Biscuit w/ Pimento ($4.50) - This is very interested biscuit - it seems to be flour based but mixed with a bit of corn meal giving a yellow color and a cornbread-like taste. The biscuit is super buttery - I just took a single nibble at first and the biscuit felt like it was half made of butter. There's a great crust on the exterior that adds a nice crusty crunch in some areas. The interior is super fluffy, flaky, and buttery dense. The biscuit is cut in half and then toasted in a pan, which creates additional crust along the cut. Then there is pimento cheese added between the slices. The pimento cheese consists of soft shredded cheddar mixed with pimentos, green onion, and mayo, giving creaminess, a bit of a tang, and fresh herbal notes. It's not watery or thin at all and gives the biscuit appropriate moisture. This was among the best biscuits I've had in the Midwest. (5/5) Bathrooms - None that are customer accessible. I'm glad we made a stop at the The Roaming Biscuit because their food is delicious. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Biscuit Brisket was a good grub

Breakfast was bountiful in Roaming Biscuit. The options were all hearty even if you just get the Humble. I got the OG and it was scrumptious! Yes, the biscuit was buttery and fluffy. We also tried the Brisket and it was filling. The staff was so friendly and the place was so cute- take out only, but so convenient because all we had to do, was go down the stairs. They were only open 3days in a week though, but we lucked out. If you walk a few feet, grab a great cup of coffee from Rising Star Coffee Roasters.

It was topped with a thin layer of rhubarb jam that brought a nice tartness along with a dollop of sorghum butter and whipped cream, and served with Ohio maple syrup on the side. We shared the loco moski, paprikash sandwich, and a side of bacon wrapped tots (good option if you just want 2 and not the full appetizer). While the bacon wrapped tots are famous from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I actually liked the loco moski and paprikash sandwich more. The loco moski is a fun combination between a loco moco but with pierogi, and I like that the peppered gravy wasn't too rich. The paprikash sandwich was also a great combo of chicken, sausage, peppers, cheese, paprikash, on lightly crispy bread. Parking available as free street parking--though you may have to circle to find parking since it's near the Christmas House. Staff were nice and efficient. The place does feel a little tight in terms of space with less lighting, but there's still plenty of seating and what matters to me more is good food. Overall, great place to try local food. I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

We were totally fine with that, went and grabbed a coffee from a local shop, and then returned to the restaurant. Food was great and the server was so kind! The reason for the 3-star review is because the hostess was very rude. She completely shattered an easy 5-star review. We had nine people in the family, and one was golfing. We intended to put in a takeout order for him but due to the 45-minute wait, he ended up finishing before we were even seated. We invited him to come along and then we were called to be sat. We ordered his meal for him prior to him arriving and this was still a major problem for the hostess. She basically threatened to move us back outside and told us we were "holding the table" even though we would have never done that. Instead of giving me the opportunity to explain to her we would have done takeout anyways had he not arrived(but he did because again, it was a 45 minute wait), she just continued to talk over me. It made all of us very uncomfortable and the first 10 minutes we felt very on edge and unwelcomed. She then did the same thing to our ninth person when they walked in the restaurant 5 minutes after. He had no idea what had already occurred and was also caught off guard. Most of us worked in this industry in the past, and we thought we were doing the right thing by letting her know. Thank you to everyone else who helped soften our experience. It was very appreciated. Every person who brought a dish to our table was extremely kind. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste.
