Karleen's Cornmeal Fries with sunshine sauce
    Aria J.

A must try on a beautiful day outside. I love the idea of this place, I just wish they had more seating. I can't imagine eating here in the dead of winter and not living in the area. I'd hate to have to drive home before eating and the food not being as fresh. The service was great and we didn't have to wait too long to get our food. About 15-20 minutes. The portions are massive and I like that everything is homemade. People rave about their cornmeal fries but as a person with texture issues I wasn't a fan of the mushy inside. Overall worth stopping in. Maybe I just haven't found the right items for me yet.

long story short: great breakfast sandwich We went on a busy Sunday morning & were slightly overwhelmed by the amount of people crammed in the tiny storefront. The people behind the counter were kind & efficient. We placed our order & took a walk around the block, as they would text us when the food was ready. We got a Betty, a Doris, & the fries. Everything was delicious- hot & well-flavored & very filling. I would definitely come back for these breakfast sandwiches!

Garlic steak hoagie and smoked turkey hoagie were the best sandwiches I have had. The flavor is rich and the bread is perfect (& I'm picky about bread). Side street Parking, only about five bar stool seats inside. Great place to grab a sandwich and walk around the neighborhood. Highly recommend

It's a 4 seat spot inside Predominately take out. It's small. However, the flavor is BIG. WORTH EVERY PENNY AND CALORIE. I'm not a big Sammie person... the breakfast Sammie, just got added to the rotation. They also have HOMEMADE PIE, yes that's right HOMEMADE PIE. I saw 2 cooling in the window, I begged, maybe leaked a tear, and tried to bribe my way into a slice. The pie had to cool. If it's half as good as the Sammie... well, imma just buy a bigger size pants... I will definitely be back

This was my second time trying Martha on the fly and I have to say its one of the best if not thee best breakfast sandwiches Ive ever had. I got the betty this time and added sausage and caramelized onions. It was so good! The cornmeal fries with sauce were good too. I dont think it's cheap, but Its worth it to me. Around $14 per sandwich depending on what you get on it. Online ordering and pickup is super easy. Its small but cute inside. Now everytime I go to the area I have to stop here!

service was awesome!! the most personable and genuine staff i have ever encountered. she was taking orders, handing out orders, making coffee and still made a point to connect with every single person that came in. she was fantastic and great at her job!!! for the food, it was pretty good, different than any other breakfast i've ever had, but it was good! Loved the vintage style look and the concept of the restaurant.

I'm not quite sure how to properly word how good this place is. We were in town for work for 7 days and this is where I got breakfast 3 of the days because we loved it so much! The cornmeal fries were something different, but good! Very crispy, and the sauce is great. Definitely a different texture, but in a good way. I got the Doris add bacon each time and it was delicious. The signature square egg is perfectly fluffy, the sausage was good, and the bacon is super thick and delicious. The bun was fluffy and soft as well. The sandwich was so filling as well. I also got a cinnamon roll once to try and it was good! The icing has lemon in it, so if you don't like lemon then it isn't for you. It was a good size/ not huge but not small. We also got a slice of the chocolate peanut butter pie to have one night for dinner and it was so good! Didn't get a picture because I forgot. Shout out to their packaging as well- it's all so nice and high quality. I am from California, so I am sad to leave Martha behind! Definitely grab a sandwich, you won't regret it!

Wow, I'm so excited we tried Martha's!! My husband and I were staying at an AirBnb nearby and decided to walk down to Martha's for some breakfast. What a great decision! The inside is really small, but don't let that dissuade you. The counter is manned by a staff of some of the most friendly people I've ever met! The menu consists of a set of absolutely delicious breakfast sandwiches, complemented by hand brown disks and other small bites. We ordered the "Doris" (pork smash party with egg and cheese) and the "Agnes" (shaved steak with egg and cheese). I opted to add the caramelized onions and avocado to my Agnes and it was insanely good! The inside of the tiny restaurant does have a counter to eat at and is impeccably clean and well kept and very cute. I highly recommend stopping by! Pro tip: ADD the caramelized onions, you won't regret it!

Wow, what a great spot! I came here to get breakfast before my gig. Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Unique egg patty with perfectly cooked bacon, a Hollandaise-esque sauce, and cheese with two soft buns. The servers were super friendly and let me enjoy my order at the counter, even though I intended it for pick up. The ambiance is small, so if you're going to eat here, be prepared to eat outside or on the go, as space is extremely limited. Overall, 10/10 recommend!

Perfect 10/10 Black Friday breakfast! Sat at the counter and was warmly welcomed. Great vintage vibe- felt like I stepped back in time. The Doris sausage and egg sandwich as amazing- my partner had the griddled steak sandwich and his brother had the baloney. We all indulged in the fresh donuts and fried corn polenta with "the kitchen sink" on top. Coffee was exceptional! Thanks for treating these Pittsburghers with some Cleveland kindness!

Martha On The Fly is definitely one of the best breakfast sandwich options in Cleveland. Always hot and fresh with good flavors. I initially went in for one of their egg sandwiches, but they had a breakfast burrito special on the menu, so I decided to try it out. All the components were really tasty. The meat was juicy and flavorful and the breakfast potatoes on the inside were cooked crispy outside, soft inside. I think the salsa that they provided on the side was needed complimented the burrito well. It provided an extra kick of flavor. I always seem to get breakfast here, but they have other offerings.

Soooo good. Very nice staff, small and retro inside. BEST FRIES IVE EVER HAD!! And probably top 3 sandwiches also. 0 complaints!!

Here on a musical RoadTrip. We stayed in Tremont which is a fabulous neighborhood with great options for food. We found Martha via internet search and we definitely scored. The eggs are made in such a way it's like biting into a custard cake with out all that sugary dessert taste. It's real egg flavor. The buns are soft and tasty. One of the best breakfast sandwiches ever. Location is small no indoor seating. A few chairs outside. Worst part is the local bees that will buzz you and your food. But they don't hurt so bee kind.

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.
