I can confidently say this is one of the best "Biscuit & Gravy" dishes I've ever had!! I loved how the restaurant creates a tower with cheesy scrambled eggs (enough where you can see the cheese pull with every scoop) as the foundation, followed by a fluffy biscuit to top it off. The dish is drenched with their delicious and creamy gravy, which complimented very well with the spinach, mushroom, and turkey sausage chunks (extra). This is a huge portion and can easily be shared by two people! As for my sweet craving, I ordered a side of their Kid's Spelt Pancake (essentially a smaller version of the entree size), and the pancakes were made perfectly! The pancakes were fluffy, layered with small apple chunks for a nice, crispy crunch, and topped with a homemade whipped cream -- I could literally eat their whipped cream for days! It was super creamy with a light sweet aftertaste. If you're looking for a dangerous savory sweet combination, look no further!! The service was quick and the staff were incredibly kind. This past Sunday a group of us went to breakfast and EVERY ONE loved their meals! Their food is high quality with ingredients and flavors and I could tell our table knew this. Beautiful mural on the wall near our table and there was a fresh flower arrangement on our table which we all appreciated. The space itself had a diner feel where there is a small number of tables and servers are flipping tables because of limited hours and a constant wait. I was only able to get a table since I was solo and they have a small bar area for solo eaters which was convenient. I was very pleasantly pleased by the food. Stopped in at the bottle shop at Juneberry the other day. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. He could come and have a glass of wine and hang out with friends or work on a project. I had to wait 20 minutes for a seat at the bar on a Friday morning, and I'm glad to say the wait was worth it! I ordered the biscuit & gravy ($16) and one kids pancake ($5). Both were delicious! The biscuit was perfectly buttery, and it was covered in a rich, flavorful mushroom gravy and came with scrambled eggs. It was filling but somehow not too heavy. I licked my plate clean. The pancake was also wonderful. It was topped with a thin layer of rhubarb jam that brought a nice tartness along with a dollop of sorghum butter and whipped cream, and served with Ohio maple syrup on the side. Juneberry was an absolute delight and totally worth a 40 minute wait. We arrived around 10 am on a Saturday and it was busy- lots of people standing outside , as there is no room for waiting inside. They allow you to track your place in line so we popped over to a friends apartment and got back in plenty of time. You can also walk around and check out some nearby shops and other restaurants to add to your CLE bucket list. We did notice that around 11:30 when we left, there was no line. Maybe that's the sweet spot for next time? Anyway, we had the bar table at the window, which wasn't ideal. It was hard to converse and it got pretty warm. But it's a small place and we didn't want to wait for a table. Once seated, the service moves quite quickly. We were greeted and served water immediately. Two of us order Bloody Mary's and we both loved ours. The mix had great flavor and spices, but not too spicy to enjoy. A good handful of olives too. Yum. Husband ordered two delicious mimosas. We started with cheddar and chive biscuits which were tender and flaky. Served with a seasonal jam which was yummy. I could have eaten 3 more. An order is two large biscuits. I got the French toast which I forgot to photograph, but they were so good. I'll go ahead and say it- maybe the best FT I've ever had. Fluffy bread, no sog, with a gentle crispy edge. It was topped with the seasonal jam and homemade whipped topping. It was so delicious and perfect. I barely touched the side of syrup. I also added a side of bacon- for $5 you get 4 generously sized thick slices of delicious bacon. Totally worth it. Seasonal pancakes were also a hit. Lemon zest and blueberries in the batter- blueberry raspberry syrup to top. They were delicious and fluffy. The breakfast sandwich looked good too. Linda messy, dripping with a garlic maybe Chipotle flavored sauce? Generous portion. We were all so pleased with our meals, and bellies full to happiness. I wish juneberry was on my commute bc I see carry out in my future :-) The service was too notch- fast and friendly. Very nice people, all around. My wife and I ate here for our anniversary dinner. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable on the drinks and food menu and specific ingredients and how the flavors come together. I'm not a big seafood eater, but was easily able to find some menu items without seafood if you also aren't into fish. Apps mostly have seafood in them, and I was adventurous and tried the lobster ravioli. Very impressive flavors. For dinner, I ordered the beef Wellington and my wife got a veal dish with scallops. Well prepared, fresh, with good flavoring. My only constructive criticism on the food would be recommending more seasoning on the fillet. We opted not to order a dessert because we were full but our waiter brought out a complimentary cherry chocolate moose because of the anniversary celebration. Portion sizes are smaller and the dishes are pricey, but you are getting top tier food if you're celebrating anything special. Staff takes there time which won't rush you. Very chic and bohemian. Tucked away in the Tremont community there are some great stores to visit to fill the 1-2hr wait for a table. Restaurant is small so expect it to be a bit cramped. It was clean, and the hostess and female waitresses are very friendly. We always split food to try more locations in the same day and we split the homemade cheddar and chive biscuit, breakfast burrito and loaded griddled potatoes with bacon and cheese. The food took about an hour to arrive which normally isn't that bad for a heavy trafficked restaurant but it arrived cold. None of the food was hot, warm at best, the eggs on top of the burrito were cold so the yoke didn't run, seasoning was a hit much especially with the parsley and the potatoes were too hard to eat. The flavors in the potatoes and biscuit were great, if they were warm. But while we could find most of the employees in the place, our server was flirting with the other patrons at the bar most of our meal so getting refills and asking why the food was cold didn't come until we'd invested 2hr into this location and we just paid/left instead of staying to criticize. Today I went to Juneberry Table to have breakfast with a girlfriend I hadn't seen in months. I was the one that suggested this spot because I had always wanted to go try it out. The menu looked great and I heard good things about the food. We got there right at 8am when it opened. We were quickly sat and had drinks within seconds brought to us. I did notice on the menu in the bottom left that it said they keep their table sittings to a maximum of 1 hour and 15 minutes. I can totally understand this concept as it is a small restaurant and they are busy so they need to keep turntable times moving. With that being said, the level of hovering that began around the 35-minute mark of being there was a bit intense. While the two servers that took care of us were pleasant and kind, the rest of the staff started circling us every 5 minutes checking to see if we needed anything else very obviously wanting us to get ready to go. If you say an hour and 15 minutes, you should not be bothering people to make them feel like they need to get out of there after 45 minutes. I was drinking my cup of coffee waiting for a to-go order to come out and we had already paid and a woman picked up our receipts that wasn't our server and gave us a look of why weren't we leaving and I had to explain that I was waiting on a to-go order (which I shouldn't have to explain to someone). That was at about the 55 minute mark. My friend was finishing up her story that she was telling me and I was finishing up my cup of coffee when the same woman who had come to pick up our receipts came up to our table and said "I'm sorry but you guys need to go. We have an hour and 15 minute policy." I was involved in my friend's story that I hadn't been looking at the time for a few minutes and it was exactly 1 hour and 16 minutes since the restaurant opened but we didn't get sat until around 8:05. I have no problem following the rules but there were two other tables open along with seats at the bar and the window and it just could have been handled in such a more kind and pleasant way than it was. So yes, the food was delicious. However I will never go back due to the way we were treated. It's unfortunate because I was so excited to finally try it out and I left feeling anxious and stressed out, as did my friend. I was lucky to visit on a random Thursday in May 2023 after a workout. I didn't have work on this day so I was able to visit in the early afternoon (their hours of operation back then was limited and still is). They are currently open for brunch, as of May 2024, from Sunday - Thursday from 8am to 2pm. According to their website, they have dinner hours starting soon. I sat at the bar in May 2023 and ordered the JUNEBERRY BREAKFAST ($14) which consists of scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes, and two types of spreads. I think I got a glass of water too. Everything tasted delicious especially the eggs and bacon. One of the spreads, butter I believe, had a great flavour. I forgot what was used to make it but it had maybe a herb in it. Their website describes the breakfast as: "2 eggs scrambled or crispy fried up*, choice of bacon or sausage, choice of potatoes, fruit or salad, Leavened Bakery wheat toast with butter & jam."
