Lulo - The best Tres Leces dessert in the Cleveland area.
Jeff D.

Can't believe I haven't added a review of one of our Cleveland favorites. This spot is truly a gem. We typically have lunch here, but have also enjoyed a few dinners. My wife cannot bypass the Mango Salmon. I love the Chorizo lunch and the Cuban sandwich. (Only available at lunch.) the grilled chicken at dinner is excellent. Honestly, lunch is their sweet spot. The dinner menu is a bit lean. They would do well to strengthen that offering. Nonetheless, this is an exciting place to eat. Pro Tip: try one of their boutique lemonade offerings. I've tried almost every one and they are uniformly delicious.

Patio season at Lulo is the perfect spot to pull up a chair, grab a drink and dive into delicious Latin Fusion flavors! The shrimp on fire was my favorite and the drinks were phenomenal. Ambiance 10/10! I was disappointed in the size of the salad for the price without any protein. On street parallel parking and a parking lot across the street. Well, this is new for me because I don't post negative reviews. I'll keep it short. Had a reservation at 630. Got seated 20 minutes later. Server was MIA. And by 720 ended up leaving. Pretty bummed because of the hype around the food. But, it was obvious other patrons there before me still had yet to even get their food. Oh well. Maybe next time will try not on Valentine's Day.

LULO Cleveland is a Latin American fusion restaurant with beautiful decorations, romantic red lighting, and wall art. Although they provide a small menu, the smoothies and lemonades are very tasty and fresh. The beef empanadas were not the best I've had, but still pretty good. We couldn't get an entree because our server took forever to come to our table, she also took forever to give us our check, only three tables were occupied it was a weekday, so we ended up going somewhere else for food.

Mango Salmon

Aye que rico!!! This place is so vibey. It has a tropical speakeasy atmosphere going. Very spacious while still cozy. The service was amazing, everyone was super kind! And the Mango Salmon dish from the lunch menu left me refreshed and content. 10/10!! Will definitely be back to try more.

Decor is on point. You enter and walk down the stairs under fairy lights and everything has a cool vibe. The black lighting makes it a little hard to see once you're seated (and the food pics aren't the best because of it) but it's unique and we enjoyed it! Our server was great and the menu was smaller and not overwhelming. They didn't have a ton of vegetarian options, but what they did have was delicious! We got the tostones with guacamole as an appetizer and that guac...literally so good. We tried one of their speciality lemonades too (the strawberry one) and it was fresh with chunks of actual strawberry throughout. The glass it came in was cool too! For entrees, I ordered the quinoa ceviche and hubby went with the mango salmon. The quinoa ceviche was excellent...I know I will crave it in the future and it will bring me back! My husband liked the salmon, but he said it did arrive cold. The only thing that has me leaving a 4 instead of a 5 star review is the pricing with regard to the portion size. The piece of salmon was very small and came with only basic white rice for $24. Other than that, high marks. Not sure we'd go for the salmon again but I will go back for that guac and the quinoa ceviche for sure. Thank you for a lovely evening, Lulo!

The ambiance of the restaurant is beautifully moody with a pleasing decor, though the low lighting makes it challenging to capture good photos. The teriyaki salmon was cooked perfectly, although the teriyaki flavor was subtle, which suited my taste. The guacamole was a touch salty for my liking. I also enjoyed the refreshing limeade with strawberry and cucumber--a perfect cool treat on a hot day that I would definitely order again. The music and overall ambience created a lively vibe that made me feel like dancing. My only suggestion would be for the restaurant to ensure that their full menu is available throughout lunch hours; unfortunately, about half of the lunch menu items were not available between 12:30 and 1:00.

Food was alright for the price, portions are small. Menu was small as well. Service was good, but would not come here again.

The owner was super sweet and told us she tried to source unique wines that we won't just find at the supermarket which I appreciate. You get a card to swipe to sample the wine type and size you want and it shows you how much you've spent which is nice so I don't go too overboard. They have red white and rose so something for everyone. They also have some small board games to entertain you. The seating and vibe is so cute and comfy and we can't wait to come back.

PHOTOS attached below…read more Wyne Tasting Bar is located where Sweet Moses Ice Cream shop used to be located. I hardly drink alcohol but I still recommend this business because of the friendly Australian owner (nice customer service). My friend and I ordered a small meat/cheese board and a glass of mimosa. This is a wine tasting bar where you can sample several wines (pour them yourself), buy a glass or bottle and also order some light food such as a cheese and meat board. I visited with a friend, Olga, in April 2023 and we had a lovely time chatting on the comfortable chairs or sofas. On the day we visited, Wyne Tasting Bar collaborated with Paint Nail Salon. On that day, anyone who purchased a drink or snack could get their nails painted for free so that was fun to experience especially since I haven't been to Paint Nail Bar before. We also got to purchase a $5 glass of mimosas as part of this Paint Nail Bar collaboration. I visited specifically to get my nails painted for free but I stayed to enjoy this business. While I didn't have a glass of wine, there are plenty of drink options to choose from so I'm sure you'll find one that you love. Since I don't drink (hardly), I won't be back here anytime soon but if you love wine then come and support this small business. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 47/150 total reviews in 2024 - 697 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 29 June 2024

Fantastic Wine Bar Experience in Rocky River!…read more My girlfriend and I visited this past Sunday in the mood for charcuterie and wine, and everything was excellent. We both ordered the Moscato, enjoyed a charcuterie board with a delicious selection of meats and cheeses, and each of us had a bowl of their soup of the day - roasted red pepper soup. Everything was perfectly prepared and flavorful. During the holidays, the wine bar transforms into the Nutcracker Wine Bar, and it's tastefully and beautifully decorated. The shelves above the bar are adorned with nutcrackers, and the ceiling is covered with big, stunning gold ornaments--it's a magical, festive atmosphere that makes the experience even more special. This spot is a must-visit for a relaxing afternoon of great food, wine, and holiday charm--we'll definitely be back!

FOOD -- I ordered the Slow Braised Pork ($22) which includes sweet potato gnocchi, fennel, crispy sage, and apple cider glaze. This was a delicious and very hearty meal. I hardly eat pork so I'm glad that I enjoyed the dish. The sweet potato gnocchi was perfectly paired with the pork. Everything in the dish just blended well together. All my friends enjoyed their food too, from the meatballs, calamari, burger with fries, ratatouille, and more. I nibbled on a few of them and loved it especially the wagyu meatballs. The food was all full of flavour. Service was nice all afternoon as the server came to check on us a few times including refilling our water glasses. MINI GOLF -- Head downstairs to play some games. You pay a fee and are then given score sheets. A friend's friend had surprisingly paid for all of us and I had no idea until the next day (for some reason I thought the mini golf was included in the lunch cost...LOL). Each golf game has a different course with some being more challenging than others. I recommend Birdietown Mini Golf and Lounge for a fun day of mini golf plus lunch. We have 8-10 people so they just had us split into two, which was fine. The vibe was great, felt very upscale. My group mostly got mocktails. I felt like for just juice it was definitely over priced, because I felt like I was just drinking lemonade as we were playing mini golf. We only paid to play the upstairs holes, and it was good enough for us. We did not make a reservation for dinner which we regretted, but they were able to get us two tables in the downstairs area. Not a traditional seating, it was very comfy with one side being a booth and the otherwise having two comfy lounge chairs. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was large and delicious. The chicken was well fried and the bread was so good. The fries were good, but the aioli was 12/10, so so so good! The food did take some time to come, but they were busy and were kind enough to find a spot for us. I told the staff it was someone birthday in our group and they brought a special birthday dessert which we al tried and it was great. Their menu is worth the price and the vibe is definitely jeans and a nice shirt, or a casual dress. Perfect for date night or a birthday dinner, and I look forward to coming back. The TLDR: staff was really nice, food was great, mocktails a little expensive, and the mini golf was super fun.
