Lemon Curd French Toast.. fresh berries, berry coulis...simply delicious!

This place is so quaint, you walk in and think ...where am I gonna sit? It is divided into 2 incredibly distinct areas of seating. The tables are closely placed so if you are looking for privacy, this is not the place. The food has great recipes and flavors, although the portions are conservative. We had plenty of variety. The escargot was garlicky good. The New England clam Chowder was a bit salty but full of clams. Let's move to the beet salad...loaded with sweet beets! Yum. The scallops appetizer was well portioned but the mushroom cheese sauce was missing in mine. Lastly, to end on the best note, the bouillebaise was perfect! Yes, I will always return because I need to try other items! There is one restroom on the floor and 2 more tiny private ones downstairs, but it is a potentially dangerous trek down and climb up. Not at all an ADA friendly spot to eat.

This is the second time I have been here and I really enjoy it each time. The décor is French and fun, the wall colors and bright and cheery, the staff is welcoming, and the food is delicious. We came here with my husband's friends for brunch on a Sunday at around 12:45pm. I ordered an espresso martini and it hit the spot. I also ordered the bacalao benedict, without the bread to make it gluten free. It was salt cod potato cakes, with 2 over easy eggs and potatoes. It was wonderful. I really enjoyed the flavors together. I would highly recommend this dish. My husband ordered the buckwheat salmon crepe, so that I could try it, as it is gluten free made with their buckwheat flour, and it was also great. Like a lox bagel without the bagel. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food, including the 3.5 year-old and 5 year-old who ordered the French toast. It all looked delicious.

I had a lovely evening at Le Petit Triangle with a friend. Inside was adorable and I felt like I was overseas! We had a wonderful window table too. Service was excellent. A shout out to Phil who was doing all the things most of the evening- bartending, seating, serving, clearing.....and he never seemed stressed. Service was great! I had a salers spritz to start. Quite tasty and new to me. For dinner, I had the duck confit special. I loved it. My friend had the lamb shank. Both entrees were delicious. For dessert we split a bananas foster crepe. Yum! All in all a lovely, relaxed evening. Unhurried service. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, my visit to Le Petit Triangle Cafe failed to impress in any capacity. I had some friends in town and had been wanting to come here for a while, so we decided to come in for brunch on a Sunday. We joined the online queue and after a 45-minute wait, received a message that our table was ready. When we arrived, the host informed us it would be "2 minutes" as they were still setting up the table. After waiting outside for an additional 35 minutes, I went inside and let the host know that they needed to give us a realistic timeline, as the lack of transparency was disrespectful of our time. I didn't mind waiting, it was the miscommunication that was frustrating. In response, the host said, "Do you want me to go and make the table get up?" a completely unprofessional remark. He showed not a moment of remorse, and when we were finally seated 5 minutes later, the interaction was non-existent. Not a single "I apologize for the wait." The food was fine, but not worth the ordeal. To top it off, towards the end of our short stay, just 45 minutes total at the table, our server created a hazardous situation by arranging a neighboring table in a way that blocked the exit path for one of our guests, who was seated against the wall (photo attached). Overall, an extremely disappointing visit and not worth your time.

Cute place for a weekend brunch with friends! Came on a Saturday with a reservation. Got a London fog with oat milk ($5.50, basic, nothing special). The savory French toast ($13) was a favorite by the staff. While it was pretty unique, it might not be for everyone since it was a bit strange to have mushrooms with the toast that was covered in maple syrup. 4/5 The mushroom crepe with add on bechamel ($14+extra $1) was my favorite. Definitely recommend for mushroom lovers since this was densely mushroom flavored. Bechamel sauce gave more creaminess to the dish. Appreciate that it came with a fresh side salad that balanced out the richness. 5/5 I didn't end up finishing everything so I took the cinnamon roll croissant ($4) back and reheated it later in the air fryer. While it didn't look as impressive, It was one of the best croissants I had in a while, great texture and taste. 5/5 Service was friendly, the ambience was small and cozy. Parking available as free street parking. Overall great food at a fair price. Definitely will consider coming back again

Came here for dinner with my family tonight. We sat in the outdoor patio area because we brought our pup along. We tried the triangle salad, French onion soup, mussels, and cod cake as appetizers. I really liked the cod cake and the sauce the mussels came with. For entrees, we ordered the beef bourguignon, roasted cod, and chicken piccata. The beef in the bourguignon was a little tough, but the flavor of the stew was very good. The chicken piccata was super delicious and definitely my favorite dish of the night. For dessert, our waitress recommended the banana fosters crepe, which was super yummy (though maybe a tad too sweet). I enjoyed the texture and temperature contrast between the fluffy crepe with warm rum sauce and the cold vanilla ice cream on top. The cafe is small and charming, and parking on the street was easy to find nearby. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the kind of dishes they serve (seafood, steak, etc). The only qualm we had was that there were an annoying number of flies landing on our food when we were sitting outside. We ended up dropping our dog off in the Tesla, and the wait staff were very accommodating in moving us indoors. However, it was a really hot and humid day, and the lack of AC indoors made dinner a bit more uncomfortable. Overall though, we still had a nice dinner, and I wouldn't mind coming back again!

This cutie little restaurant served yummy European-inspired food. We came here around 11:30 am and looked really small as you enter but had more seatings towards the back. We were dropped off menus and water. I thought service was okay, felt like we waited a long time for our server to get our order. When she finally stopped by, we went ahead and ordered our drink and food. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and a ratatouille crepe with buckwheat flour. The cappuccino was delicious but found it a bit too strong so I added some sugar. The crepe though was delicious! I had bechamel on the side and it didn't really need it. It was served with carrot and endive salad. Overall, solid place for great food.

Went for brunch and it was mid. The chocolate croissant tasted fine, but it was so dense I felt like it really wasn't a chocolate croissant. The hot chocolate tasted like Swiss Miss, which was a little disappointing. The French toast and crêpes were okay, not bad, but just simple. Given that this place presents itself as French, we came in with higher expectations. Did enjoy the croque monsieur and shakshuka...so overall, I'd go back to try dinner, but probably not brunch. Service: 5/5 stars. Everyone was incredibly gracious and friendly. Ambience: 6/5 stars! It truly looks and feels like a Parisian café.

We had not visited Le Petit Triangle in several years. It hadn't changed much over that time. The room appeared to be typical for a cafe. The service was good. My wife had a veggie quiche with a small salad and berry bread with goat cheese. It was delicious. I tried it and agreed. I had a croque monsieur and was disappointed. The ham was very salty and there was too much mustard on the bread. The bechemel sauce was too thin. The roasted potatoes were perfect. I'm sure there were better choices. All in all, a positive experience with many other choices in an authentic French cafe. By the way, the prices were reasonable for the meals.

It's been awhile sense I've had the pleasure of grabbing brunch at this wonderful restaurant. It was my first time coming since their expansion and it's so much bigger. they even have reservations now. We split the shashuka and the strawberry goat cheese crepe (I was so excited to eat the crepe I forgot to take a picture!) As expected, both were amazing. It's evident that they use high quality ingredients in all their dishes.

    Shaksuka.

Just called and the guy said they in fact CANNOT make vegan crepes, that it is "impossible". I got my friends from out of town excited about this based on the answer here from the owner. What's the real answer? (Call was sept 21 at 9:45pm)

Hi Claude, it is not impossible to make a vegan crepe, we just don't offer that on our regular menu. There was a time where we kept a vegan crepe batter mix on hand for this situation, but it doesn't make financial sense to mix up a batch of… Read more

I'm so sad about this, but this was not my favorite experience at Leavened. Customer service was great of course but my selections fell short. I got a mushroom and ricotta croissant, which was fine. I forgot the ricotta was supposed to be there because it mostly tasted liked mushroom, but it was good. I also got the cinnamon monkey bread. This was not good. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.

The bread was fresh and crusty, there were two small strips of tofu that had maybe been dribbled on by hoisin sauce at some point, some lettuce and jalapeño slices, and carrots. The sandwich was dry as a bone and a really sad empty version of a banh mi. The chocolate rye cookie I bought as a back up was thankfully still deliciously chocolatey and soft as usual. The guy at the register said the bread pudding still has a "cinnamon roll base, so it has orange in it" despite nothing in the sign denoting this awful addition to bread pudding and the fact that cinnamon rolls are not orange rolls. But I digress and I won't fight with a cashier over their poor decisions lol. Also got a cherry chocolate sourdough on impulse. Pray it is soft inside.

Weekends, espeically in the winter, will be more crowded so be aware if others make you nervous. I personally get nervous about gaming when others are around. My brain shuts down and I loose critical thinking skills necessary to win. And winning is life. Onward, the food was meh. I ordered the cheese flatbread 'Za, hoping to channel my inner teenage mutant ninja turtle and smash my fellow turtle completion. But the pizza was bland. It was like pita with cheese on. Now, back to the games - I will say, some of the games are very advanced and will require extensive set up and knowledge on how to play. If there's game you're interested in playing, and you have little knowledge, I recommend looking up the rules first and checking out tutorial vids. Otherwise, you'll waste a lot of time figuring out the logistics. If you wanna go from bored to board games, I recommend this place!
