Northstar comes highly recommended by a catering friend as a reliable, go-to place. We arrived and were second in line to order. I'm not wild about their queue up-order/pay-take a pager approach but last night was effortless. We sat on the little patio fronting Warrensville Center Road and enjoyed the hustle bustle of a busy Friday night. We had ordered the thai burrito with chicken and a cola. We self served our drinks and when the food was served we were extremely excited. The presentation was lovely and the portion was generous, including the baked chips. After the first bite, we were hooked. Delicious. Tasty (including the side of peanut sauce). With delightful textures. The chicken was perfectly cooked. We could only eat half and took the rest home. Looking forward to a reprise. Live music was starting soon but we headed over to the VAD plaza for their weekend offering. Verdict? A great eat-in experience we will soon repeat.

Space between tables is tight and the space overall is not huge but they make great use of the space. The staff are extremely efficient and there are many of them moving with trays at any given time, it's absolutely not a spot to walk around with a toddler if they get bored at the table. My favorite dish is lemon ricotta pancakes - perfectly zesty, fluffy, and perfect. I find the rest of the menu to be simple - Benedict, omelets, scrambled eggs, pancakes, burgers, and sandwiches. Early birds (7-10 AM, dine-in) get access to $7.99 value breakfast special. What a deal! My latest order included Meat Lovers Omelette ($11.32), Texas Toast ($0.50), and Hot Tea ($3.08). PARKING: The main parking area is a parking garage on Coventry. The garage is city owned and free to use. There is also free limited parking in the area. I would recommend visiting the Inn for lemon ricotta pancakes. They are really a special and delicious breakfast meal. I won't be a frequent visitor. I'd rather have a more hearty breakfast that is warm and delicious.
