Downtown Cleveland is way more full of sandwiches that are $17-20 than I thought, but this place is a quality breakfast at a good price! Quick, friendly service, hot coffee with hand pulled espresso (if you're into that), and very tasty food. There's an entrance inside the office building, and another blink-and-you-miss-it entrance on the street. But don't pass it by!

GREAT BREAKFAST SPOT! I went to another local bagel place that was highly rated and I was disappointed with just about everything. Square Cafe & Eatery had just 6 reviews so this was kind of a gamble but I was really surprised and pleased with the service, food, and pricing to be honest. I chose a cappuccino and it came out just right- not too hot, not too cold and great flavor. No sugar needed when it's done right. The English Muffin Sandwich is a real meal. Cooked to order and piping hot. The cheese was gooey, two eggs and a crispy toasted muffin.. delicious. The sausage was great in there too. If you need a quick and good breakfast- give them a try. The cafe is nice to eat in but there is an atrium out back that is just as lovely.

Reliable cafe with staples for breakfast and lunch. I had a cold brew and avocado toast which was actually a sandwich filled with egg, avocado, mayo, and tomato. Very nicely done! The ambiance was perfect for getting work done or going on a coffee date. I'm happy a local business took over this space!

Not the friendliest staff. Egg sandwich was fine, nothing special. Step above fast food.

Very good sandwich place. A hidden gem. Although be aware the wraps are huge. Located inside an office building.

The fresh baked bread was crispy on the outside but nice and fresh in the middle. It's a little shop good for picking up a sandwich quickly. They have about 8 or 9 sandwich options all made to order on a crispy focaccia bread. They also offer my favorite, San Pellegrino Italian sodas and homemade chocolate chip sea salt cookies. They slice the meat for you right there and it was all super fresh. I got the #2 which had salami, prosciutto, and capicola with burrata and pickled hot peppers. The sandwich was good and tasted really fresh. I really enjoyed the burrata. I also did not miss the fact that there was no sauce or spread on it. I'm not a huge fan of crispy or hard bread, so I think I would have loved it even more if there was a soft bread option. I definitely look forward to returning though, maybe they do have another bread option available, I didn't ask. You can also customize the sandwich, so I would have added some arugula. The cookie was incredible!

They just keep placing another brisket on, and the ribbons of beef keep falling. The order counter is tiny, with a line out the door: regulars, tourists like me, and food delivery drivers all waiting their turn. There are meat trimmings everywhere, tubs of pickles, and the sense that the folks behind the counter know exactly what they are doing. The small dining room is packed with people sitting elbow to elbow, gripping massive sandwiches with stadium mustard in the corners of their mouths. It is loud, cramped, messy, and glorious. I've gone to heaven.

I joined the line just before 11 and got inside about 11:50 AM. I'm currently standing in line waiting on my sandwich which is a corned beef melt. I ordered a corned beef melt, which is toasted rye, cornbeef, double Swiss cheese - hot & melted with Kraut on the side and dressing. I got a side of potato pancakes, and also coleslaw. The folks were extremely friendly on the inside, very welcoming and very efficient as they worked to make who knows how many meals. And you'll be glad to know every sandwich comes with a dill pickle, wrapped in its own paper and ready for delicious consumption! The dill is a big deal to me because I like spears, as in the pickle not necessarily (in this case) the pop star! Come early and be ready to wait! The place is really kitchsy and has a great atmosphere. And the folks really make it awesome to be there. It has the feel of a destination restaurant the kind of place that is an experience to visit not just because of the food because of the culture and the people and the phenom that it has become.
