But never acknowledged us. We decided to sit for up to 5 minutes and if nothing happened we would just leave. Finally, the establishment's sole employee wandered over with menus and water and thanked us for being patient... Really? My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich and I ordered a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese and honey. We both ordered coffee. Our food showed up quickly enough. My wife's looked and tasted pretty good. Mine showed up as a toasted bagel with honey... no cream cheese? Our server was kind enough to bring me my cream cheese when I requested it. And the bagel was okay after that. I could tell just looking at it that the coffee was going to be a real experience. It was as black as tar. And even after 3 creams, that's exactly what it tasted like... Tar. It was horrible! I don't know what to tell you. Other people seemed to like this place. Who am I to argue with their experience.
