I used to love this place. The patio, the bar, the neighborhood and the food. I don't know what has changed but it's just basic bar food now, nothing special and nothing worth the drive. Also when we ask "what's on tap?" DO NOT TELL US TO "GO ONLINE". if you're a server, memorize the list ITS UR JOB.

I stopped here on a cold Saturday out with my mom. We were beyond hungry and opted for the Tremont Burger and Cheeseburger respectively. The burgers really hit the spot and were overall tasty. My mom was a big fan of the onion ring in her Tremont burger. Since we were out and about it also got a purple haze mocktail which was well balanced and I'd recommend. When we went it was still lively despite being post-lunch rush and pre-dinner rush. Service was good and the atmosphere was lively and full of locals which is always great to see.

The restaurant and bar area are huge and even include a cozy outdoor space with a fireplace, which creates such a great atmosphere. The décor is fun, stylish, and gives the whole place a really cool vibe. We were a party of six coming in for dinner on a Saturday night. Since we made reservations ahead of time, we were seated right away, which was a great start to the evening. I ordered the Honeybee cocktail and it was AMAZING! For my entrée, I had the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely perfect. The portion size was huge, so I even had half to take home and enjoy later. Everyone at the table ordered something different, and every single dish got rave reviews. It's always a good sign when everyone leaves happy! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Comfort dining at its best. South Side is always welcoming and delicious, especially at Christmas time. We stopped in before heading downtown for a Cavs game and the staff was pleasant quirky and quick. They offer a weekly special menu for when inspiration hits the chef, not to be overshadowed by their regular menu full of bar, bistro and home cooked delights. We settled on a mix of starters and entrees. The lobster bisque was hot and smooth, with big ol chunks of lobster. The rosemary fries were simple but ohhh so good, I could have easily had 2 bowls. The pierogi were delicious, I like my dough a bit thicker, but the chive sour cream outweighed it all. I also have the shrimp tacos, flavor was good, but the guacamole was not my thing, it just felt off. My husband had the lamb smash burger and loved it. So if you are looking for ambience, flavor, a great beer list, and friendly staff then head to South Side for dinner and drinks.

    Beautiful day!

Excellence! Great Food, service & ambiance! I took a client there for a business lunch meeting. The client liked the food and ambience so much that they are returning with their family.

Setting: Saturday, 6p pregame meal before Cavs We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Surprised to see some open tables. Everything was wonderful. Atmosphere not overly noisy. Service was adequate. Food was very tasty. Lobster bisque was creamy and decadent. Brisket fries were unique. I tended to share with hubby. They could have been a meal in their own.

We went for my friends birthday and All the food was amazing. I tasted everything. Mines was the French toast and sausage. They make their sausage homemade in house. The French toast was really good. The burger was absolutely amazing! I will go back just to order that. The service was great and the ambiance was very inviting.

Not sure how this was the first time ever tying this place. Great service and excellent food! Jordan was our server and was outstanding. Went there before a Cavs game and it did not disappoint. Really great menu . I'm impressed with the scotch selection, Balevenje 14! They also have Peroni draft! We were seated in the fireplace area it was comfy and casual. I will definitely be back as there is more in the menu I want to try!

Had lunch here with a friend. Everything was truly delicious. I had the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was outstanding. The flavors had me thinking about it all day long! It was big but I could not leave a single bite behind. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Rosemary garlic fries were also very very tasty. Server was attentive. Our table was near the window, nice bright spot.

We called with a need for a reservation for 10 and they were able to get us in. They were so kind. We arrived and got a nice table. The appetizers were wonderful! Especially the Brussels sprouts. I had a cheeseburger that was perfectly prepared. They accommodated some special requests- like letter for a burger instead of a bun. The sandwiches were huge! Salads were fresh and tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The soccer match was on so we joined most of the patrons in watching. The entire place was having fun!

Nachos...for the $10, it was a great sharable. Needed more cheese but good flavors!

Always, all ways...this is one of my favorite patios! The food is tried and true. The service is always on point! The ambiance is casual and comfy... come as you are!

Southside in Tremont is always a good choice. I have been here several times and the food has consistently been very good. I have tried the Tremont burger, pierogies, noodles, a few appetizers, and other entrées I cannot recall, and everything has been enjoyable. Drinks are well done, and the brunch champagne bottle deal is one of the best and most affordable in the area. The one drawback is the bee problem on the patio. It seems to be an ongoing issue whenever I sit outside. If you are allergic I would not recommend the patio, but otherwise the food, drinks, and atmosphere make this a solid place to visit.

Has always been a solid place. Nice indoor/outdoor patio. Good food. Worth stopping by.

It was busy without seeming crowded. The space was spacious, well decorated, unique and made good use of space. The bathrooms downstairs were artsy and in good taste! Menu was kind of limited but I have a feeling they try new things all the time so it was exciting to pick from. Too bad they ran out of some things when we went. I ordered the fried chicken dish which was fried to perfection, well seasoned and paired interestingly with pickled veggies. The portion was tiny but on par with something I would expect in a place like this. I also ordered 2 oysters for $9 which were the tiniest oysters I've ever seen. Sure, they were good but I would not get them again. My girlfriend ordered a canned non-alcoholic drink for $6 (way too expensive for a soda!) and the brussell sprouts. They were good but there was only 4 of them! Our server gave off a "I'm too cool for this gig" and dismissed my order when I asked for the chicken. He recommended the lamb which uh, was almost 3x as expensive as the chicken and not something I wanted as a light late dinner after a show... My friend's SIL worked here so she was warm, welcoming and gave us a great seat. So yeah, it's not the best restaurant in Cleveland or anything but there is something to the hype and if I do get the chance, the brunch looks amazing!

Unfortunately, they couldn't put us together, but we made it work. The location has a spectacular view of Cleveland's skyline. Even with some haze, it was lovely. The food was a hit with everyone. We started with the clothesline bacon and a cinnamon roll. It was perfect for our table. The bacon was not candied as described. It was good, but not something I'd order again for the price. 5 "ok" sugared bacon. The presentation was cute and the blueberry preserves were tasty. The sliced baguette toast was way too hard (break a tooth hard). My Florentine Benedict was cooked perfect,y. I opted for the fruit instead of the potatoes. I didn't realize it would be a $4.00 add on, but it was fresh and all the fruit was perfect. Others had the chicken and waffles, with a side of blueberry sausage, a smash burger and various yummy cocktails. My pomegranate mimosa was delicious and the plump blackberry was scrumptious. The family wall of pictures was a great tribute to life, family, love and Michael T Joseph who sadly died too young. It's a wonderful place to go with friends and family. So we sat right at the window along the river with a very nice view. Quickly thereafter a bubbley, smiling face arrived by the name of Sara. She brought us our water and took our drink orders and away she bounced... marvelous. Shortly after, she returned with our drinks. She very effectively answered our questions and we placed our orders. We were both not too hungry so we stayed with the starters menu. We shared an order of the "Heavenly Biscuits" and I added the "Marinated Olives". Then we both had a bowl of the "Lobster Bisque". Everything showed up in a timely fashion and in proper order. All of it was excellent. I must say, the bisque was exceptionally meaty. A pleasant surprise. As we were finishing up I mentioned I was looking forward to coffee. We found TownHall, and it wasn't far from where we were. We got lucky and found a parking spot on the street right across from the restaurant. When we went inside, we noticed there are two different sections--one for dining and the bar area, and another that appeared to be more for takeout and quick service. We were seated fairly quickly and chose to eat inside since it was getting later in the evening. I had found TownHall on Yelp but honestly didn't spend much time looking at the menu. I trusted some of the highly rated reviews from Elite Yelpers and figured we'd give it a try. Our server was very friendly and asked if we had been there before. When we said no, she took the time to explain the menu and how the restaurant focuses on organic and healthier ingredients. My wife and I don't typically dine at organic-focused restaurants, so we didn't realize that was TownHall's concept. She did a great job explaining the menu and pointing out some of the more popular items. My wife ordered the grass-fed burger with Brussels sprouts, and I ordered the steak bites with white rice from the appetizer menu. While we were waiting for our food, we witnessed something that was a bit disturbing. A customer had a dog sitting on a bar stool next to him. An employee brought over a cup of whipped cream, and the customer fed it to the dog directly on top of the bar. The dog then proceeded to lick the bar top. A short time later, someone brought the customer a plate of food, and he appeared to encourage the dog to eat from the bar area as well. Personally, I didn't think that was very sanitary and felt it could be a health concern. Thankfully, the food completely changed the tone of our visit. When our meals arrived, we were genuinely surprised by how good everything was. The grass-fed burger was cooked well and had great flavor, and the steak bites were outstanding. The sauce paired perfectly with the rice, and it ended up being one of the best dishes I've had on our trip. Despite the issue we observed at the bar, the food and service were excellent. Based on the quality of the meal alone, we would definitely consider returning the next time we're in Cleveland but after seeing the dog lick all over the counter and not get cleaned probably not. Would have given a lower star but the food was good management must have thought the dog at the bar was fine?
