It's been quite a while since our first visit to Fahrenheit. We just could not bring ourselves to revisit the auditory punishment we experienced the first time. We arrived to be greeted by an exemplary young man serving as the valet. He was exceedingly pleasant and personable. I appreciated his marvelous attitude toward his job and our service. The young women who greeted us upon entry were very kind and efficient. We were seated immediately at a very comfortable table. Shortly thereafter, a pleasant gentleman by the name of Ihab introduced himself as our server for the evening. He immediately filled our water, identified the various menus at the table, and took our drink orders. A while later our beverages arrived, he answered several questions and explained the evenings specials. I ordered the Grilled Avocado followed by Broiled Oysters "Rocco". My wife ordered the Potato Gnocchi with crab & lobster. We followed our meal with excellent coffee and a good Pot de Creme. In conclusion... the noise problem that so plagued us the first visit seemed to have been addressed. It was now more reasonable. Our server was a pleasant enough young man but he appeared spread thin. He was continually distracted by his many other tables. It was a bit inconvenient. Fantastic from start to finish. Server was a young man with glasses and curly black hair who came at the perfect intervals and knew the menu inside and out. The firecracker shrimp was perfectly delicately fried and on a nice crisp bed of greens with delicious sauce. The salmon crusted with mushrooms was super buttery deliciousness! The skin was perfectly crispy. It was on a delectable bed of onion, greasy sunchoke slices, and teriyaki farro. Super rich and lovely entree. It was also rare just how I ordered it. I've been frequenting Fahrenheit over the past few months; it's a great weekday night go-to spot to sit at the beautiful, large marble bar for after work drinks with co-workers or to catch up with friends. I've recently been into their spicy tuna sushi rice for the combination of textures with the creaminess from the fresh tuna and avocado as well as the crunch from the rice on the outside and the soft, slight chewiness on the inside. Other favorite dishes I like to get include the dynamite rock shrimp and oysters. Their happy hour menu is small (and the portions tiny) but for only $5 each item, it's still a pretty great deal. For drinks, they always make delicious martinis. But I've recently been introduced to the Carajillo (Spanish Licor 43 and espresso), which is a savory, earthy alternative to an expresso martini. You can have it on the rocks in a short/whiskey glass or room temp in a coupe cocktail glass - either way, the bartenders there have been making them extra delicious! read more

First time at the new location off Public Square in downtown Cleveland. A very upscale vibe, full of energy. Wishing we had sat at the chef's table as that looked to be a very fun spot to enjoy the entire dining (and cooking) experience. They were so full that even though we had a reservation, they sat us in an adjoining room that appeared to be "overflow" and used as a private banquet space. The meal started off with warm bread served with a seasoned olive oil dipping sauce. I ordered the smokeshow grilled pork chop served with wilted greens and a loaded baked potato. It was one of the best pork chops I've ever eaten...so tender and juicy with great char flavor from the grill. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their meal. Came here yesterday (Wednesday night) at 8pm for my boyfriend's birthday. We had Ramin as a server and as soon as we met him, we knew it was going to be a wonderful night with great service. He was attentive, respectful, friendly, and VERY knowledgeable about the menu, recommendations, and the restaurant itself. My boyfriend told me, "I think he is the best server I've ever had" SERIOUSLY! With an amazing menu, it was hard to make a decision. We both wanted steak, but my boyfriend loves seafood. Ramin gave him the recommendation that he could add scallops and lobster tail to anything if that helped come to a decision. For our entrees, he ordered the Wagyu with scallops and I ordered the 9oz Center Cut Filet. Both came with potatoes (we got mashed) and seasonal vegetables which was asparagus. It was absolutely incredible and our steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking (Medium Rare & Medium). For appetizers, we ordered the Vietnamese Chicken Spring Rolls and we also wanted to try and share the Truffle Fries. The aioli with the Truffle Fries was a great addition. I was deciding between two places to take him for his birthday and landed on Fahrenheit (both have never been) because I looked at the pictures of inside - the ambiance is unmatched! This used to be one of our favorite places in Tremont. We've tried it three times since Fahrenheit moved downtown and were disappointed more each time. The service was great and staff were friendly but the food was mediocre. I had a zucchini pasta that had little flavor except an odd addition of what tasted like liquid smoke. Way overpriced with a garish and busy ambience. The food was good, maybe a B/B+ depending on the dish (potato nachos were an A, short rib was B/B+, cheesecake was C-; just some examples). But 20% too expensive for what it was. To add insult to injury, the valet outside was a racket - it's not clear, but it turns out anywhere you park on the street they will force you to valet even though it's not marked. The appetizers were good and the bread that they bring to the table with the sweet dip was really good but at first we were served the wrong plates. I visited Fahrenheit in multiple cities and they are always a good experience. Sometimes the menu changes seasonally, but if you happen to catch the poke tuna nachos or the salmon with wasabi whipped potatoes make sure you get them! Our bartender was very friendly and recommended drinks and food options. We didn't have a reservation and we came around happy hour and we were able to be seated with no problem, but I would recommend a recommendation after 5pm and or on weekends. We parked just around the corner in a lot for $15 but if you're going to pay that you might as well valet in front of the restaurant. It's beautiful inside and they have a "rooftop". I put that in quotations because the building is one story tall so while technically it is the roof it feels more like a patio because it's not that elevated. However, it's still a good vibe. The honey olive oil concoction that comes with the bread is 10/10. Loved how fresh the seaweed salad was as well. read more

The brunch was served both buffet style and family style dishes for the table. The "stations" at the buffet were ok. They had shrimp and oysters, sushi, prime rib, charcuterie, and pastries. I thought they should have had a "dessert" station. The pastry station was fine, but it needed more options for sweet things. The charcuterie was a mess and each person that came up and touched the tongs made it kind of disgusting to think about serving yourself the food that was on the trays. The prime rib was really good. The food for the table was kind of random. Two salads, deviled eggs, asparagus, eggs and bacon, fried chicken, bread and oil, and VERY random Captain Crunch pancakes. It was a very random assortment. The salads were dry and not much to them. The chicken was good, but pieces were too big. The pancakes had a nice flavor, but one bite was all you could do! And all this was $65, plus 20% gratuity, and 8% tax....so more like $80 per person. Not worth it. It should have also included a beverage. The coffee was an additional $5, let alone the alcoholic beverages which averaged around $20. read more

Several years have passed since we've been to Fahrenheit, that visit was incredible and the food was notably excellent. Our recent visit was a complete disappointment, complete change on the menu, no entrée selections similar to the prior visit, we struggled to determine what to order and surprisingly the center field on the menu was a variety of Sushi, also worth mentioning, Sushi rolls at a price point of $25 for 6 pieces. We ordered a cocktail and a glass of wine, Im a reasonable person, however, $18.50 for a Titos and soda is excessive. By comparison, here is a example at a different establishment that charged $5.50 for the same beverage. In total, for two beverages, and valet, it cost us $50.00, last visit for us. I was so excited to come to Fahrenheit and it definitely hit high expectations for the ambiance. It's dark and classy. Food had some highs and lows. If I came back, I would just eat a bunch of appetizers because the fried scallops special and dan dan dumplings were delicious. The scallops were juicy and crispy at the same time. The dumplings had a filling I've never had before and the chili oil was bomb. The Chinese salad was so bland and legit tasted like eating water. The ravioli was good but seemed extremely overpriced ($39) for corn and mushroom and flour. The short rib is a classic which I'm glad I got again but it was a little too sauced and salty for me and there was only two sleeves of bok choy. Was excited to try a new venue before heading to the Playhouse. Made reservations online and was seated immediately. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. There is MAJOR construction going on along the street, so our hands were tied to valet due to not knowing other options. It took a few mins for the valet to approach us (we just left our car on the street and sort of walked around looking for someone). Finally he approached us and said it was $15 to valet. Hmmm ... We started with the spicy crab sushi dip. It was delicious, but was served with seaweed "chips" for dipping. Except there was no dipping - bc the seaweed was like paper, so you sort of scooped and folded it to eat it (our waitress was upfront about this). It was a cool concept, but we both agreed an alternative of really thin/light crackers would have been our preference. I ordered the filet w steak Diane sauce. The sauce had more of a sweet taste than I prefer, but all a matter of preference. I do wish there was a smaller option than a 10 oz which is awfully big for a meal w/appetizers etc. Husband ordered the short rib and thought it had great flavor! Now this place was fun and such a cool atmosphere and design. I had read online of this new location and made reservations in advance of our trip at the new Fahrenheit-Cleveland Downtown. It is located at at 55 Public Square and is a smaller white building with two floors and half of the top floor is a rooftop patio. We arrived on time for our reservation and had to wait about 10 mins for a table to be ready. The table we were finally seated at was at the end and my back to the front rear emergency exit and back area. That definitely was not a good spot as that was a back traffic area for servers as well. We dinned inside and what an amazing meal! The dishes were full of unique flavors combinations on the plates that kept me guessing and tasting as I tried to figure some of them out. I will say the overall atmosphere really added to the experience here. Our server's name was Elle (or maybe just "L") and she was good. I wasn't really pleased with the table they put us at as it was at the end and by back was close to the emergency back exit. We started our meal with some break, a giant roll with honey olive oil. It was good and for an appetizer the Umami Ravioli ($18). It came as two peices. It was good but wouldn't say it was that good for the price. For dinner, my partner went with the Pan Roasted Walleye ($34). I had the Center Cut Prime Filet ($55) with buttermilk herb mashed potatoes, and charred asparagus. My partner order a side of the Heirloom Carrots ($12) for the table as well. Everything was delicious and for dessert we had the Brown Sugar Japanese Milk Bread ($16) and the Chocolate Pecan Pie Pot de Crème ($11). I would say the Japanese Milk Bread was the favorite of the two desserts. I loved the restaurant and would absolutely eat here again, but would ask for a different table. This was an exceptionally pleasant dining experience! A lot of creativity goes into the drinks and dishes available here. I never had a smoked bourbon drink before dining here. Highly recommend! The smoke adds a whole other flavor profile to bourbon. Phenomenal! The service was also exceptional. We were checked on frequently and the manager even came over to make sure we were enjoying our meals. We started with the oysters. Very fresh! I ordered scallops for my meal. My scallops were easy to eat, perfectly cooked. Everyone else at our table enjoyed their entrees as well. Beautiful dining area too. Walked in for our 630p reservation about 5 min early, the place was buzzing and the music was upbeat. The host guest looked at us, looked at the tablet. We walked up and asked if we had a reservation, we said yes and have our name. The sit and look at the tablet, point and then it looks like they are almost arguing. Finally the lady says would you like to sit on our rooftop, we said no isn't it cold and windy, she said it was inside and starts to walk us upstairs, we get there and it's a glassed in patio on the roof with no one there, three small low low tables like your siting around a pool. We said no thank you and she acted annoyed, I replied we are from out of town, have had a reservation for two months and would like to sit in the dinning room. We evened at a U shaped table in the bar area. (Must have over booked) the service was excellent and the sole reason for the 3 stars not 2. This is place has great potential and an awesome vibe but just don't nail the details for a place charging top notch prices. Marble room prices without the wow factor, without the attention to detail. They have the spot and vibe down, need the rest to match. The food was ok, not worth the price tag at all. Fahrenheit recently reopened with a beautiful new location, downtown, and my friends and I were super excited to check out the new space. We received an advertisement via email that said that there was happy hour daily from 4 to 6 PM. Imagine our dismay when we got to Fahrenheit Saturday around 4:30 PM, and the hostess was quite rude in informing us that the happy hour specials aren't applicable on the weekend. When we tried to clarify with her that we had a flyer that stated otherwise, she was very rude and dismissive, and ended up involving the manager. While the manager did eventually allow us to have the happy hour deals, she was also quite thorny and abrasive. Luckily, we had a good experience with our waitress and the bartender. I personally had a French 75, which was delicious, and my friends also enjoyed the espresso, martini and margarita. We split the sliders, buns, and ahi tuna tacos, all of which were very delicious. Please see photos for the size, as they are definitely not very large. The oysters are a great deal at two dollars per oyster, and we enjoyed both cocktail sauce in the other vinegary sauce. While we enjoyed the food, the front of house staff definitely left a sour taste in our mouth. read more

This was our first time at this new establishment. I remembered the old location in Tremont. This location is beautiful with a bright open design. We were greeted warmly right away. The menu is very simple but diverse. Our server Zach was phenomenal. His attention to detail was top notch. Our appetizer was very delicious and reminded me of bang bang shrimp at a different restaurant. I really enjoyed the lobster mac. It was hearty. The walleye was decent. We were greeted at least five times by different employees and everyone appeared to work well together. The aged pork was amazing as well and was perfectly seasoned. The dessert was so so good. We chose this restaurant for its wine list. Imagine our disappointment when every single wine we chose (6, count 'em, 6) was "out of stock". These were very nice bottles, not cheap but not the most expensive. We don't drink bad wine and so had to choose much pricier bottles. To add insult to injury, since we were a large party the restaurant added 20% to the entire bill. I have never tipped 20% on wine without the service of a sommelier. The waitress failed to provide an ice bucket for our white until we flagged her down and asked for one. The rest of the service was equally inattentive. Considering the reputation, the food was only average. Two members of our party ordered the filet: one was a normal 8 oz. while the other was the size of a slider. When we asked about it we were told that the chef weighs every filet and this was 8 oz. It clearly was barely 4 oz after cooking. My scallops were forgettable. The short rib and lamb were declared to be tasty. All in all, this was a very disappointing experience, considering the $225 average price per person we paid. If you want a great experience, go down the street to Oliva. read more

Ambiance is beautifully dim lit and romantic. There's a few great spots to take photos and there's a nice rooftop bar as well. Drinks are EXCELLENT, we ordered tequila mockingbird and orange cream dream. Both drinks were $16. I started out with sparkling water but that was $9 which I felt was overpriced, but they bring out a large bottle and keep it presented nice. We started with the Ohio wagyu small plate and it was truly a light dish with shaved wagyu. It had really nice flavors. The lobster Mac and cheese sounded so good but we sent it back since it came out cold, sweeter than expected, had minimal lobster and the noodles were borderline underdone (and i am someone who prefers them Al Dente). We also didn't find it to be creamy or cheesy as expected. The crunchy Asian salad was beautiful, light, fresh, and tasty. My husband ordered steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I thought this was pretty good as well. The mashed potatoes are perfectly seasoned and creamy. The asparagus is perfectly seasoned as well and cooked just right so that they aren't overdone or mushy. Dessert- chocolate pecan pie pot de creme. Tasted more like caramel with it being so sweet. The raspberries gave it a nice balance from the sweetness but I wish there were more. Tried the new location this weekend and have to say I'm a little disappointed mainly due to the service aspect. We arrived at our scheduled reservation time, were seated, and then no one came to take a drink order for 20 minutes (and we had to ask). The food was pretty good. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and delicious, the pork chop was tastey, and the pot stickers were also delicious. After dinner, we went to grab a drink on the rooftop. I recently went to a work event at Fahrenheit and it was a flop for me. I have been wanting to come here for sometime so I was disappointed. When we arrived the tables had bread baskets with whipped butter. The bread basket had a few options but, nothing exceptional. I ordered the First Kiss cocktail - it was like a spicy mango margarita. That was probably my favorite thing of the night. We then had our starter salad - I chose caesar. Most of my table did as well. The salad was fine but it was definitely not caesar dressing - we had no idea what kind of dressing it was. I don't know if it's their spin on caesar but it definitely wasn't traditional caesar. Then for our main course we had a choice between filet and chicken. I chose filet - it was good just an average filet. The sides we had were loaded mashed potatoes, Szechuan green beans, and lobster Mac and cheese. I didn't really like the mashed potatoes. I don't know exactly how to describe them - the texture grainy/gritty kind of. Not smooth at all. I did enjoy the lobster Mac and cheese. The sauce was good and there was some good sized chunks of lobster. The best side though was the Szechuan green beans. This was an interesting take on green beans. I would've never thought spicy green beans would be good but they were really good! We were in the small banquet room which was actually pretty large - the decor was nice. The service was ok. It appeared we didn't have anyone specifically assigned to our table. It was hard to get refills on beverages. One of the members of the waitstaff was on their phone standing at the bar for about 5 minutes when I finally went over to ask for some water. We came here on a Friday night for a late Valentine's celebration, and we had a lovely time! The atmosphere is swanky, but not uncomfortably so; Fahrenheit would work for a first date, date night, or a special occasion. Our server was very nice and had our back with recommendations and checking on everything for a nut allergy, which we really appreciated. We decided to skip the entrees and instead get cocktails and a few starters to share. To drink, we had the Dr. Bob and the Spiced Cranberry Gin Fizz, which were both so good that we had a second round where we just swapped drinks! For food, we started with the cheese plate, which more than made up in volume what it lacked in variety (two cheeses, two meats). We were particularly fond of the pickled red onions and the fig compote. A bit unique and so yummy! We were almost full after that, but we also got the black truffle meatballs -- could use a bit more sauce, but very good -- and the sliders -- so so good, mmmm bacon jam... Terrible experience. Took my wife and daughter out to celebrate their January birthdays. Used online booking for the three of us. On arrival they sat us in a booth that apparently was intended for a party of five. Server pointed that out to us repeatedly, making me uncomfortable as if we somehow were in error making our reservation. Only became worse when a family of five was led over to the table we were sitting at. Server and fleet of managers (including GM) seemed clueless on how to make this right. Shame, I missed out on probably good food but fortunately in downtown Cleveland we went up the street to an old faithful and had a great meal and celebration that night. We had a spontaneous double date with our friends, and they suggested this restaurant. I've seen it many times on social media and I was excited to try. The aesthetics was so beautiful - I'd have the chairs in my own home if I could. The open kitchen was amazing to see - I love it when restaurants aren't afraid to show what's behind the doors. My man & I like to share items in order for us to try more on the menu. I always always always order calamari if it's on the menu. My steak was cooked well, and the potatoes were priceless. read more
