What a great place for a lovely Sunday breakfast! This was my first time here and definitely won't be my last. We parked in the back which was convenient for going to the west side market after. The patio is bright and well decorated with flowers. (Pansies is perfect for this chilly weather and while too cool to eat outside, it was nice to walk through the patio). The inside is rustic, wooden tables, a western /organic decor. A friend recommended the bone broths. I ordered the chicken. Yum. Very warm and wholesome! I also ordered the power bowl with Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, chili nut oil and an egg on top. It was delicious. Filling, so I took some home. The service was excellent. My wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner while visiting Cleveland after spending the afternoon at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We found TownHall, and it wasn't far from where we were. We got lucky and found a parking spot on the street right across from the restaurant. When we went inside, we noticed there are two different sections--one for dining and the bar area, and another that appeared to be more for takeout and quick service. We were seated fairly quickly and chose to eat inside since it was getting later in the evening. I had found TownHall on Yelp but honestly didn't spend much time looking at the menu. I trusted some of the highly rated reviews from Elite Yelpers and figured we'd give it a try. Our server was very friendly and asked if we had been there before. When we said no, she took the time to explain the menu and how the restaurant focuses on organic and healthier ingredients. My wife and I don't typically dine at organic-focused restaurants, so we didn't realize that was TownHall's concept. She did a great job explaining the menu and pointing out some of the more popular items. My wife ordered the grass-fed burger with Brussels sprouts, and I ordered the steak bites with white rice from the appetizer menu. While we were waiting for our food, we witnessed something that was a bit disturbing. A customer had a dog sitting on a bar stool next to him. An employee brought over a cup of whipped cream, and the customer fed it to the dog directly on top of the bar. The dog then proceeded to lick the bar top. A short time later, someone brought the customer a plate of food, and he appeared to encourage the dog to eat from the bar area as well. Personally, I didn't think that was very sanitary and felt it could be a health concern. Thankfully, the food completely changed the tone of our visit. When our meals arrived, we were genuinely surprised by how good everything was. The grass-fed burger was cooked well and had great flavor, and the steak bites were outstanding. The sauce paired perfectly with the rice, and it ended up being one of the best dishes I've had on our trip. Despite the issue we observed at the bar, the food and service were excellent. Based on the quality of the meal alone, we would definitely consider returning the next time we're in Cleveland but after seeing the dog lick all over the counter and not get cleaned probably not. Great bar. Can't give my money to this owner. Let me be upfront: the bar at TownHall genuinely slaps. Good cocktails, solid atmosphere, and the kind of spot that would normally earn a regular visit. If this were just about the experience, it'd be four stars easy. But I can't in good conscience leave it there. Owner Bobby George faced serious charges including attempted murder, four counts of kidnapping, two counts of strangulation, felonious assault, and rape -- and ultimately pleaded guilty to attempted strangulation, receiving no jail time despite those original charges. Hard pass on putting dollars in that pocket. Then there's the food angle. TownHall markets itself as a health-forward restaurant, but they've gone fully seed-oil-free, cooking exclusively in beef tallow -- positioned as some wellness revolution. The Cleveland Clinic disagrees, with a cardiovascular dietitian stating beef tallow is simply not a healthy cooking choice due to its high saturated fat content. Ironic for a place selling itself as the clean-eating destination of Ohio. Good bar, bad owner, questionable food science. I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

Went to TownHall today for my friends bday brunch! We were in the private room upstairs. The service was excellent - fast and very nice server. The food was tasty - I got the Eggwich with potatoes. I didn't get a crepe but they looked amazing and huge. The food is VERY reasonably priced. My only complaint is that a single espresso martini was $20! I was in town visiting a close friend, and she took me to some local spots around the Ohio City neighborhood. I had previously heard about TownHall from a coworker, so I suggested we make a stop there since we were in the area. First impression of the restaurant/bar was that the place was a great hangout spot. Spacious, festive decor, and several taps to choose from. How could one not like the ambiance of the place? We grabbed a couple of chairs at the bar. Service was so slow. There were two main bartenders covering the bar. One greeted us and handed us menus, but we never saw her again. A second bartender came around, and he was thankfully more attentive. He recognized we hadn't placed our food order yet and helped to place them for us. I ordered the keto wings, which were fine. I personally did not find anything special about them going through the "72-hour" process. The wings were much more tender than the drumsticks, which were no more tender than any other drumstick I've had elsewhere. Whoever put the BBQ rub had a heavy hand, so the Aji sauce helped to pare down all that salty seasoning. I would bail on the hot sauce. It's not that hot, and it reminded me of Carolina BBQ sauce with its vinegary-base if you're into that. My friend got the grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was cool. Flavorful, tasty, and comforting. I think it would've benefited with more cheese, but I thought it was a solid dish overall. read more

So this food was amazing. I was expecting sweet potato fries but was so pleasantly surprised when these slices came in front of me. They're seasoned perfectly. The nachos were also fantastic. Who knew chili would add such a flavorful touch? Vibes of the actual restaurant were very nice, the lighting was just the perfect amount of dark. oh and I also had a mock tail mojito that was 10/10. This place does coffee, smoothies, bowls, teas, pizzas, beer, tacos, burgers, and so much more. They rock on so many levels. The feel of the place is super chill and cool. Went for brunch for the first time and was totally impressed. Now I'm certain Townhall has cemented itself as my go-to brunch spot whenever someone visits from out of town. The dishes are indulgent and creative (that chicken and cinnamon roll has to be one of my favorite bites of 2025). Couldn't get enough of the eggs benedict either. Service is quick and friendly, with plenty of seating for larger parties. The space feels modern yet comforting. A really cool indoor/outdoor vibe. Food: Offers a good variety to suit different palette. Service: All the waitresses were attentive and very friendly. They are all beautiful!! I joked and said that must be a requirement to work there! Ambiance: Very welcoming and spacious seating inside and out. Pro: Upbeat atmosphere for families and groups. Menu has good choices. Con: 2 ways to order - either sit down with a menu OR walk up and order on a kiosk. I noticed the menu was slightly different for some items (ie you have move options to customize a dish with more offerings than the seated menu). Also, one side of restaurant only allows you to order on the kiosk, and the other side can only order off the menu. So, if you have a large group, like we did, where some ordered on the kiosk and some off of the menu, we couldn't all sit together. Just something to note and may not be a big deal. Overall, I enjoyed the food (didn't have time to take more pics) and the upbeat atmosphere. I will definitely come back to try other items. read more

We were seated immediately outside which had a beautiful garden and lots of fans and shade to keep us cool. There was a large menu for food and drinks which was all made fresh and there were many healthy choices. Townhall has a very unique vibe and great ambiance. We sat on the cafe side and ordered at the kiosk and sat ourselves. Not sure if the bar side is only for reservations, even though reservations are not accepted unless over 6 people. Food came out very quickly!! The truffle fries were underwhelming and not very truffle. Quesabirria tacos were not your traditional birria, you had to pay an $2 extra if you wanted "birria" so we just got grilled tacos not quesabirria.. We ordered food to go as we were on a time constraint. They promote themselves as being healthy. On the menu, I was skeptical of their "The World's Only Real Healthy Sushi" claim. Even so, I ordered a featured item from there- sashimi poke bowl. It included sashimi slices and diced cuts of tuna and salmon. The most interesting part of it was the crispy salmon skin. We loved this place! There was a wait for the restaurant side so we went to the cafe side and we are so glad we did. We don't usually need the fuss of full service, and this place is perfect for that. The poke bowl I ordered was delicious and reasonably priced- my husband is still talking about it! The keto shakes were also a big hit with our kids, as were the fried chicken tenders and sandwich. It's definitely a hip and happening place, and we appreciated the ability to order on their screens and customize our dishes. I popped into Townhall on a Monday night while in the area. There aren't many places open on West 25th on Monday and this place was pretty packed. We sat at the bar which was a little sticky initially, as was the floor. I hadn't been here in a few years but was greeted with the same nonchalant service as I remembered from years past. Our bartender was not exactly attentive or friendly, however, we were simple and didn't need much, so it was okay. I ordered the wild poke bowl, which had sushi grade salmon and tuna. Although it initially seemed like a small portion, it ended up being just enough and I left feeling very full. Between the marinated cucumbers, ginger and green sauce that came with it, the bowl had a ton of flavor. My friend got the grass fed cheeseburger, which was really good! The truffle fries were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of truffle flavor. While some things may be questionable at Townhall, the food is always solid. read more

If you want to eat food that is delicious and healthy you have got to check this place out. I came out for IPALOOZA and this was my first time here and definitely won't be my last. My visit consisted of a small buffet that was offered to us with small tacos and all the fixings. I was excited to try the green dream smoothie but they were all sold out, so I'm excited to come back to try. Instead I opted for the cold pressed orange juice and the hot matcha tea. Terrible experience here- Today it was advertised as 16 burger special. Includes, burger, fries and beer. Bill comes, it shows up as $12 for the burger and $5 for the beer- that's $17. Point this out to the waitress and she states that sometimes there is an up charge. What a joke. Also charge for refills on soda with no notice. Not an honest business. read more

This place was so modern and health-conscious, it was amazing. They only used grass fed beef and sustainable clean ingredients for all of their menu items all while being in the $15-20 range. One half of the restaurant is seat-yourself and the other half has a server serving the same food which is great! I tried the Thai peanut 2.0 bowl and it had the perfect amount of spicy aioli on top. I subbed the regular rice with cauliflower rice to make it keto. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Definitely want to come back and try more! read more

I love it here, the vibes are so good and I got the chance to sit outside which was lovely. Service was fast and the waitress knew a lot about the menu which was really nice. Lots of tv's outside which was nice to have and great for the atmosphere. All the food was hot and delicious. I will say I feel the appetizer portions like the wings are a bit small for the price but just know that going into it. The flavors rock. the Birria tacos in my opinion were my least favorite flavor wise, but still worth the try for sure. I am not keto but wow this food was awesome and you don't even realize they are making changes in order for it to be keto. the nashville chicken was great and the wings were super crispy and both were keto! the bowls were good with great flavor and I like that they offer grass-fed steak and other protein options although it can be a bit of up charge. Great place to go after work where you can dine outdoors. Appreciated their food commitment statement. The staff was friendly, but they kept forgetting to bring my friend's stevia when she had iced tea refills. This was my first time here, and I wasn't sure what to order. I went with the spicy bowl that had shrimp and chicken in it, and also drank the iced coffee. The rice noodles in the bowl were delicious and the shrimp was tender. I have been following this restaurants IG page for years, so when I planned this trip to Cleveland, I had to try to visit! I made it twice and am so happy I did! High quality food at a super reasonable price and with excellent service! They have two sides to the restaurant. You can get table or bar service on one and counter service on the other. They also have a lot for parking in back and I think we got 90 minutes free. All of our food was delicious. I didn't get a pic of the sushi, but it was also delicious! Highly recommend! read more
