First off, they spelt my name wrong. But, they can call me whatever they want as long as they keep putting out bagels and cheesesteaks like this. Fantastic is what it is. Ordered a hot corned beef on rye. The quality has definitely changed. The corned beef was like dried jerky. Very tough and chewy, lacking juice and flavor. Service was very good and I ordered to go. Chips and pickle are still good but not worth $14. Will not be back. read more

I love a good NY style deli. The bagel I took home was good. My sandwich was alright, but I think it was more of a personal preference. The sandwich bread had a lot of herbs in it, and I thought it was too strong. It was a very messy sandwich too. The potatoes in my potato salad weren't fully cooked and a little raw. This was far from a New York bagel. I had a BEC with cream cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was very plain and small. I paid $10.79 for a tiny sandwich and the bagel itself was way too thin to be called "new york style". Disgrace to NYC. read more

I did not know this place was here! Like a mile exactly from Medina Cleveland Clinic. Same plaza as Subway and Happy Garden. Great menu! I got a everything bagel with Loc and cream cheese, thin sliced red onion, and light cream cheese. MAN it was GOOD!!! If it was the weekend, I would drive 20 miles for the bagel and lox. One of the freshest breakfast sandwiches i've ever had. Looking for a quick bite to eat on the road, I came across this deli and they had the perfect choices I was hoping to find. This is a true deli with fresh meat and salad bar, along with fresh bagels and sandwiches. The item that stood out to me most was the Lexington Sandwich which had turkey, eggs and avocados. I never mixed turkey and eggs before and they just complimented each other so well. As for the avocado, the texture was spot on and they were perfectly ripe. First off, the bagels are solid here. However yesterday I decided to get a breakfast sandwich. They have a sausage egg and cheese sandwich for $8 or so. Kinda pricey but whatever. I told them I don't want the egg, just a sausage cheese sandwich. That's what I got but it had a tiny sausage patty and a what I think was about two slices of cheese on sourdough bread. It's the skimpy sausage patty that kind of ticked me off. It barely covered 1/2 of the area of the bread. It was basically a grilled cheese sandwich with a little bit of sausage. Not good. If you're calling yourself the NY Bagel Deli and charge $8 for a sandwich it should be good. Not bad. Also, it took them about 15 minutes to make it. When I placed my order there was only one person in line ahead of me. Maybe they had a bunch of DoorDash or online orders or whatever but it still was a long wait. read more

For egg and cheese bagel with onions and cream cheese, I paid close to 10 dollars (tasted pretty average). They do have a lot of sandwiches and subs available, but I did not try those. If you come here for a bagel, I believe it isn't worth it, but if you wants a sub/sandwich I think it's worth a shot. They have many different varieties. read more

Thank goodness I don't live in Medina, because if I did I would be here way too often. This place is the real deal. Breakfast might be my favorite meal of the day, and I absolutely love a good bagel sammy. I was in the area for a wedding and stopped by NY Bagel Deli for some morning sustenance, and could not have been more impressed. I opted to build my own bagel sandwich with eggs (over medium), cheddar, onions, and bacon on an everything bagel. I was seriously blown away. We took our sandwiches to go and they were still warm once we got home, which is essential. The bagel itself was really the star of the show for me. It tasted like a true New York bagel; slightly crispy on the outside, and fluffy and chewy on the inside. Just yes. This was so yummy and I gobbled the entire thing up. Unfortunately they were closed on Memorial Day, but if they were open I would have stopped by and grabbed 6 or 12 bagels to go to take back to Columbus with me. I've lived in medina but hadn't visited til recently and was surprised at the menu options! They have so many things to choose from but it was not easy for a first timer, I wish the staff had been slightly more helpful but I will be returning to try some of the unique bagel options. I had gotten the easiest choice and the bagel had shredded lettuce which was different for me but not horrible besides being super messy as it needed a sauce to stick to. Has signs with named sandwiches referring to places in New York. When ordering, like I do when visiting New York, I ignore the names and just say what I want. Pastrami on rye is my favorite sandwich there. Morning bagels are solid, if not Manhattan quality bagels. The lox is a good option for salmon fans. I ask for half the usual amount of cream cheese. Coffee is above average, but not at coffee house level. Staff has been uniformly pleasant to me. They're what I call deli friendly: quick how-do-you-do, take your order and get your order started. read more

Everyone is friendly and they take a special interest in each and every customer. AND...the bagels are beyond delicious!!! We love many flavors they have, especially sun dried tomato, pumpernickel, wheat and multigrain. The bagels are ALWAYS fresh, warm, and oh so very delicious. We have eaten their salads and sandwiches as well, and they are also delicious...and the chips are awesome! The environment is extremely welcoming and the staff is VERY efficient and our food is always brought to us in a very timely fashion. I stopped there on my way back to Akron. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on their Multi Grain bread. One thin slice of onion and tomato. Also cheddar cheese and sliced pickles on tip. It was grilled to perfection! Not to crunchy. It was the best sandwich I have had in a very long time. I could only eat half because it was filled with their yummy chicken salad.
