Especially the seating area and ice cream shop decor. The store is filled with treats year round as well as seasonal specialties. It's been a great place to find some holiday treats. I have enjoyed most things that I have gotten there but the chocolate is a little too sweet in general. So, I will splurge on some single pieces from the case but some of the other things have not been as great. Notably, my chocolate dipped oreo was too sweet and buckeyes purchased as a gift received the same comment from someone pretty well versed in buckeye eating! So, that's why the limited stars. A fabulous local ice cream spot in Ohio City!…read more Before the end of the summer, I had to come here for some ice cream. First, I got two scoops ($6.50) of traditional ice cream - a scoop of oatmeal creme pie and a scoop of strawberries & cream. Both were excellent and creamy. The strawberry ice cream had a great natural strawberry flavor, and the oatmeal creme pie ice cream came with little bits of oatmeal creme pies. Literally a few minutes after finishing the two scoops, I decided to get some more ice cream, LOL. You can never have too much ice cream, right? I opted for the peanut butter & grape jam soft serve ($6.50). The peanut butter had a strong peanut butter flavor, and the grape jam was utterly refreshing and reminded me of grape soda (complimentary). The staff was very friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating. The shop has a big sports cooler of complimentary water next to the entrance.

Prices are not cheap. But it is super good and they have very inventive flavors. You can taste test. Parking is whatever you can find. No lot just parallel where ever it's OK. Line moves fast. Remixx Ice-Cream I…read morerecommend this local ice-cream shop that is female owned. I first found out about Remixx Ice Cream in late 2022 or early 2023 at a Yelp event. I visited in April 2023 (see my PHOTOS below) and I've been back maybe twice after that. In April 2023, I ordered a small vanilla ice-cream with butterfinger and Oreo on top. I recently visited again in July 2024 and I ordered a small DAIRY FREE vanilla ice-cream topped with butterfinger pieces and peanut butter cup pieces ($3.50). It was simple and delicious. There are of options to choose from so I'm sure you'll find something you like. Customer service is always friendly and quick. Next time, maybe I'll get a mix of ice-cream with a type of cereal because that's what they are known for (cereals with ice-cream). **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 67/150 total reviews in 2024 - 717 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 14 July 2024

Pro Tip: Heated patio available…read more I stopped by at Tutti Frutti Mix after so much social media hype. The place was just ok, nothing amazing. No aspect of it especially impressed me. Just a little laidback eatery. The eatery is located in West Park with street parking (complicated to find parking). This cozy spot blends savory Mediterranean flavors with indulgent dessert options (crepes with various toppings). The entrance is through covered heated patio that has cute flowers hanging from the ceiling. The outdoor area has a lot of tables. Inside has only a few booths, and a lot of Nutella buckets. The latter is fun! I ordered my order to go but peeked inside the boxes before leaving. Gyro Sandwich with fries (extra charge) had a lot of meat, but was very light on the sauce. Fries were too salty and over-fried. It wasn't the best gyro that I experienced. I also ordered pistachio crepe with strawberry and Nutella. The crepe was made to order and you could watch the prep process. I'm pretty sure this crepe was Dubai chocolate inspired but it had very faint pistachio taste which dulled it. It had too much chocolate and was ok. There were also ice cream choices but I didn't try them. I had much better Middle Eastern food in the area. Food order was made quickly though which was a plus. Think of it as Middle Eastern fast food. The place had signs that if you ask for your food to go then dine in, there's a special $4 charge. The place was pretty busy considering it was Saturday a little after 9 PM. The service wasn't too friendly. I had to repeat my order multiple times and the response was - "what?" Just wasn't warm or welcoming. Overall, I'd recommend this place only if you're in the area and coming home from the bars. It's open late, which is clutch if you're craving something sweet and savory after hours.

Located in Lakewood, parking is on the street. The shop has an insulated and heated indoor patio as well as a few booths inside the actual shop. The location specializes in shawarma, as well as crepes, Belgian waffles, and ice cream, and Dubai Chocolate. The first time we came here, my husband and I split the Lotus Crepe and a Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries, Nutella and white chocolate with Oreo ice cream. Both desserts were excellent and decadent but we both enjoyed the crepe the best. The next week we came back and again split a Lotus crepe with lotus ice cream and a fudge cake crepe. Again, both were excellent but we still liked the lotus crepe the best. Both times we asked about the Dubai chocolate and both times they were sold out. This place is worth the drive to enjoy these unique and delicious desserts. I did ask, and all food in their entire restaurant is Halal with the exception of one ice cream flavor that has marshmallows in it. They also carry specialized coffee drinks and Turkish coffee. Give this place a try on your next date night or night out with friends or family. There is something for everyone and everything is great!
