Pro Tip: Heated patio available…read more I stopped by at Tutti Frutti Mix after so much social media hype. The place was just ok, nothing amazing. No aspect of it especially impressed me. Just a little laidback eatery. The eatery is located in West Park with street parking (complicated to find parking). This cozy spot blends savory Mediterranean flavors with indulgent dessert options (crepes with various toppings). The entrance is through covered heated patio that has cute flowers hanging from the ceiling. The outdoor area has a lot of tables. Inside has only a few booths, and a lot of Nutella buckets. The latter is fun! I ordered my order to go but peeked inside the boxes before leaving. Gyro Sandwich with fries (extra charge) had a lot of meat, but was very light on the sauce. Fries were too salty and over-fried. It wasn't the best gyro that I experienced. I also ordered pistachio crepe with strawberry and Nutella. The crepe was made to order and you could watch the prep process. I'm pretty sure this crepe was Dubai chocolate inspired but it had very faint pistachio taste which dulled it. It had too much chocolate and was ok. There were also ice cream choices but I didn't try them. I had much better Middle Eastern food in the area. Food order was made quickly though which was a plus. Think of it as Middle Eastern fast food. The place had signs that if you ask for your food to go then dine in, there's a special $4 charge. The place was pretty busy considering it was Saturday a little after 9 PM. The service wasn't too friendly. I had to repeat my order multiple times and the response was - "what?" Just wasn't warm or welcoming. Overall, I'd recommend this place only if you're in the area and coming home from the bars. It's open late, which is clutch if you're craving something sweet and savory after hours.

Located in Lakewood, parking is on the street. The shop has an insulated and heated indoor patio as well as a few booths inside the actual shop. The location specializes in shawarma, as well as crepes, Belgian waffles, and ice cream, and Dubai Chocolate. The first time we came here, my husband and I split the Lotus Crepe and a Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries, Nutella and white chocolate with Oreo ice cream. Both desserts were excellent and decadent but we both enjoyed the crepe the best. The next week we came back and again split a Lotus crepe with lotus ice cream and a fudge cake crepe. Again, both were excellent but we still liked the lotus crepe the best. Both times we asked about the Dubai chocolate and both times they were sold out. This place is worth the drive to enjoy these unique and delicious desserts. I did ask, and all food in their entire restaurant is Halal with the exception of one ice cream flavor that has marshmallows in it. They also carry specialized coffee drinks and Turkish coffee. Give this place a try on your next date night or night out with friends or family. There is something for everyone and everything is great!

I opted for coffee ice cream and Nutella. The ice cream had a nice, not too strong coffee flavor. The taiyaki was great as always. Because it was made to order, the fish came out nice and warm. It was slightly crispy on the outside, and soft and mochi-like on the inside and filled to the brim with Nutella. Delicious! The staff was friendly. The shop has a couple of tables if you want to dine in. There's a water station near the front.

I tired the Lake Erie Salt, a salted caramel and chocolate ice cream with cashews, but ended up with the chocolate raspberry truffle, which was delicious! My husband went with s classic waffle cone with Superman and peach dream (I know an odd combination) but he said it worked. First, I got two scoops ($6.50) of traditional ice cream - a scoop of oatmeal creme pie and a scoop of strawberries & cream. Both were excellent and creamy. The strawberry ice cream had a great natural strawberry flavor, and the oatmeal creme pie ice cream came with little bits of oatmeal creme pies. Literally a few minutes after finishing the two scoops, I decided to get some more ice cream, LOL. You can never have too much ice cream, right? I opted for the peanut butter & grape jam soft serve ($6.50). The peanut butter had a strong peanut butter flavor, and the grape jam was utterly refreshing and reminded me of grape soda (complimentary). The staff was very friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating.
