Stopped by on a day they were supposed to be open ( well before Noon). There was a person inside but the closed sign was displayed and the door was locked. Was disappointed because I heard that the donuts were very good. Inconsistent hours are a problem for me as I do not live close by. read more

Service was excellent and the donuts were to die for! Absolutely will be repeat customers!

Travelled all the way from NJ for these. There is no place in NJ that comes close. Service is friendly and fast. Get there early for the largest selection, but regardless of the choices, they are all spectacular. read more

We decided to visit George's after seeing some solid Yelp reviews, and I'm glad that we did. These were delicious! It doesn't matter if you are a cake doughnut person, a raised doughnut person, or doughnut holes are more your thing, Georges has a variety for you, and they are all sure to please. For me, I remember making doughnuts with my parents as a child then rolling them in sugar right after they came out of the hot grease. The sugar raised doughnuts at George's brought back that nostalgic taste with the very first bite. So good! If my comments aren't enough to sway you to check them out, maybe the fact that they were voted best doughnuts in Summit County will entice you to take a trip to Twinsburg! read more

Amazing donuts. Freshly made family owned just a great sweat treat. My daughter live stopping by grabbing a donut and eating together.

Hands down, these are some of the best donuts you will ever eat! Pro tip: they WILL run out of donuts, so call the night before to place an order if you know ow which donuts you would like. You can't go wrong with a powdered or maple cream-filled, and their glazed donuts are the perfect combination of soft, airy dough with a slight crunch on the edges! These donuts are the decadent, delicious treat that every other donut should strive to be. read more

Taking a couple dozen to our wine club this morning for our bottling event. I'm sure it will be a big hit. Trying desperately not to dig in before we get there. Now the car smells heavenly. Welcome to the new owner Paul!! You have tough shoes to fill but looking forward to your new approach. Please add glutenless options. 5 stars for Paul the man who bought George's donuts from George and runs the Twinsburg location. The morning of my wedding I was supposed to pick up 16 dozen donuts from the Aurora location there was a mix up and they were closed when I got there. I called the Twinsburg location to see if they could help me get in touch with the Aurora location. They are not associated with one another but Paul went above and beyond and was even willing to make me fresh donuts and reach out to his friend at a different place to help to make sure I got my donuts prior to my reception. That right there is a great guy. It wasn't his store/business that messed up my order, he owed me nothing but was willing to go above and beyond. I would recommend doing business at the George's donuts in Twinsburg to anyone because this is the type of person you want to do business with a person that cares about helping other people. Luckily the original order was able to get straightneed out and made in time for the reception but this guy was willing to help me and go above and beyond and that says alot. I would definitely do business with Paul if I were you! read more

Donuts are always large, fresh and delicious! Chose to visit morning of National Donut day @ 7:30am. Very large and varied selection and lots of them! The donuts are made fresh every morning. They are open at 4:30am and stay open until they are out of donuts for the day. I recommend to get there early because they run out of donuts and have a limited selection after certain times. The donuts are traditional and taste great! You know that they have quality donuts when they only make donuts daily. read more

AMAZING! At age 47 I just had the best donut of my life! Bought these to bring to the office today. Such a cool place. Just an old school donut shop with the best donuts ever. Nice staff. Just great. The dough itself is amazing. Light years ahead of anything you'd get at a chain. read more

Great service, great doughnuts, a little pricey but much better than that chain donut place.

Best donuts ever! Huge selection, so fresh, made with love. Staff is friendly and helpful.

It has been well over a week since I have visited George's Donuts and I can't stop thinking about it! I got the doughnut holes/ bites (?) I don't remember what they were called but they were SO GOOD. I'm not normally a glazed donut fan but these were so light with a bit of a crisp crunch. I was almost reminded of a funnel cake with the chew, crunch and sticky sugar glaze. You can definitely tell that everything is lovingly homemade and the woman behind the counter was super nice. I will be back and I plan on bringing guests when they come to town to visit! read more

Some of the best doughnuts I've eaten. The ladies behind the counter are great. My only complaint is how expensive they are.

If you're a long-time fan of George's Doughnuts, you were probably saddened and shocked when it changed owners. Your next thought was probably "Will the donuts still be the same?", right? Read on: I was there last Sunday. Yeah, they're open Sundays now, so that's awesome. I bought a variety of raised donuts when I was there (glazed, iced, filled). I looked around for a minute. First, the negatives. 1. There's a couch in the dining area, and it seemed weird. 2. The glazed donuts had slightly less glaze than they used to. Positives: 1. They're open Sunday! 2. Aside from slightly less glaze, I really couldn't tell a difference in taste, appearance, or mouthfeel. Still the same amazing product. Overall: It's essentially the same George's Doughnuts we all know and love. If my biggest gripe is the addition of a couch, that should tell you something. Still great, still the same classics, but now with better hours. read more

Best cream filled donut I had in a very long time. Great prices. Just wish they open longer. Been here 3 times in last month!

THIS WAS THE BEST GLAZED DONUT I'VE EVER HAD. I don't actually know why it was so good. But I realize now I've been eating crappy donuts my whole life, now I feel like I just found out Santa isn't real. I like to sleep in, so I, therefore, ignored all the Yelp reviews that told me to get there at the crack of dawn. Luckily, when I visited at 11 am, they still had a handful of donuts left, but otherwise, the cases were completely empty. The gal helping me was super nice and kindly boxed up what was left. She then gave me a copy of their menu and walked me through how to place an order ahead of time for pick-up (heck yes). These donuts were so delicious that I think of donuts differently. They have a great, thick cake consistency that isn't a completely overwhelming sugar rush. The glazed really was excellent, and my friend was super happy with her strawberry filled donut. We ended up getting a few to-go, and I'm sure they won't last long. I hate admitting this, but I may have found a business I'm willing to get up early for. Next time, I want my pick of those scrumptious suburban donuts! read more
