We stopped in to grab the kids a treat, and wow, it was almost overwhelming in the best way. So many delicious flavors to choose from! The variety was impressive, and the fact that they make the donuts fresh to order (dipped and topped right in front of you) made it extra fun for the kids, especially watching the warm chocolate drizzle. My daughter went with Death by Chocolate and my son picked Monster Cookie. Both were massive treats, super flavorful, and honestly a great value for the price. Fun experience, great flavors, and happy kids, what more can you ask for? read more

This is the perfect little stop for a fresh & custom sweet treat! My friend and I needed an afternoon pick me up and decided to stop into Circles on the Square for a few donuts. The space is warm and welcoming with exposed brick and each popular flavor combo on display. The employees were very friendly and super speedy putting together our order. We were in and out with warm fresh donuts within a few minutes. I didn't get pictures of our creations before we ate them, but trust me.. they were cakey, sweet, and delicious. read more

To start, I adore this concept and it is a very good idea and I think it fits perfectly on the square in Medina. the ability to grab a donut of your choice is very cool and innovative and not seen everywhere which I can appreciate. Circles on the Square offers a ton of different donut varieties to choose from, and they are made to order which is very nice, so you know the toppings have not just been sitting on the donut for a long time. the service was great and the woman behind the counter was friendly. The place is cute as well and offers seating if you choose to sit in and eat your goodies. The donuts themselves were pretty good but nothing special to me. they all use the same cake donut base and were pretty moist for the most part so the taste really depends on the toppings you choose but all taste pretty basic and what you would expect. overall, stop in here for the concept and cute idea and pics but in regard to taste they are your typical cake donuts with any of the flavors you desire! read more

Their donuts are some of the best I've ever had, but the lady touching and decorating the donuts was on her phone with gloves on. She then proceeded to keep those same gloves on while touching my donut and decorating it. This means that my donuts had the same amount of germs on them that they would've if she touched them without gloves. Additionally it's just insanely unsanitary and a direct health code violation. read more

This is my go-to spot for donuts, absolutely amazing fresh cake donuts with a plethora of topping choices. I have only ever experienced great service with that small-town charm. However, they have weird hours in my opinion, and I wouldn't recommend eating the donuts there, as seating is limited and there's usually a long line of customers near those tables. I've always enjoyed watching the donuts fry behind the plexiglass case and watching them hand-make my donut from scratch. I would absolutely recommend this spot for those craving a sweet treat! read more

Visited @circlesonthesquare in @ohiomedina On the square little round donuts. Custom made!! Hot and fresh! We had Maple Bacon. Yes i said bacon!! What an awesome place! Miniature donuts that are amazing, why did no one think of this idea before. Get two or three different flavors and they will get them out to you while they are still warm. This is my new favorite doughnut place. My buddy said this place will change your life and it did! read more

holy cow the place REEKS of stale old donuts and it's no wonder there is a mountain of old donuts right at the entry (i wish i was kidding it's put up as some display or something) as well as right at the corner where you order. the donuts were okay...definitely not the best the donuts it self is fine more of a cakey texture. the icing is horrible and needs reworking. the person who took my order wasn't very nice or welcoming either. probably not going to be coming back. read more

Amazing super delicious donuts. There are so many great varieties of gourmet donuts to choose from. They are made to order while you wait. They come out warm, fresh, and delicious! You won't be disappointed! The service is always great. A small town shop that is super fun. Support local. read more

Delicious fresh donuts, made to order. The ladies were so nice and patient while we picked out our donuts. Nothing like a fresh cake donut, a little crisp on the outside and light yet substantial cake. I loved the caramel apple pie and raspberry strudel. read more

I visit Medina a couple times a year at this delicious place is a MUST!!! Don't walk but RUN to this quaint little place! We order a dozen mixed donuts among 7 girls (Buckeye, maple bacon, pumpkin cheesecake, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, salted caramel chocolate chip, white chocolate strawberry, and raspberry streusel. We told ourselves "let's have ONE bite while it's warm..." 10min later it's all gone! If you like chocolate and peanut butter get the Buckeye (so deliciously ooey gooey And that Maple Bacon is an explosion in your mouth! The place is spotless and the workers were all so friendly. As you tell them what you want they are making it fresh so take some time to figure out your order. I'll be back! read more

The doughnuts are so good and they have a lot of different flavors. The price wasn't bad either and there's free parking around the square where they're located. I think they also sold basic coffee and tea. The inside isn't the most inviting. I'd say that's a place focused on take out. Sadly. The product is still amazing though! read more

We stopped by today. I ordered a few donuts and while they were tasty, my complaint is Covid related. The cashier and 2 young girls who waited on me wear all wearing masks. However, a male who was stirring things and another older woman were wearing their masks, but had them dangling below their noses. If this had happened before I ordered and was leaving, I would have left. The other protocols seemed great. There was a table in front to see the donuts and the entire staff was behind it pretty far away. This place is the same as Peace, Love and Little Donuts where you get a flavored frosting and then toppings and they are made right in front of you. They had a good variety. My kids enjoyed them, but would have appreciated being able to order a beverage to wash them down. They don't sell hot chocolate which would be a great add for kids, especially for everyone walking outside who is cold. They also don't have straws for milk, so it would have been impossible for small kids. read more

Completely fine. My donut was rock hard, cold and 100% covered in powdered sugar which was not clearly apparent upon order. My kids were soft and warm and simple. I don't think I would order for myself again but if we are back in town I would for my boys. read more

These donuts are certainly cute and fun. Their menu is extensive with plenty of options to choose from whether you're a fruity or chocolate donut person. I love all kinds of donuts so I tried quite a variety. These are reminiscent of the style of Duck Donuts. A basic cake donut base with toppings. I don't love these type of donuts but for what they are, they're yummy. I did enjoy the slightly crunch texture on the donut itself. The lemon and chocolate peanut butter were our favorites. read more

A little backstory: I went to this place years ago and was slightly disappointed by the price and by the taste of the donuts not necessarily lining up with the price. However, today I decided I would try again. Walked in the door and was immediately surprised to see the prices had been lowered! (At least from what I remembered). Not only that, but the selection like tripled and they were all made fresh! Service was fast, friendly, and good. Taste was good. Price was good. And it's all located on the Medina square so walking distance from other fun little places to shop and eat and grab coffee, etc. Definitely recommend if you can find parking or don't mind a very short walk or are already on the square. Glad to see this place is still around and has improved so much in my memory/opinion. read more

Fresh, local donuts are the best! The online ordering system makes it convenient and the dozen we chose were spot-on. They're always staffed appropriately and the service is speedy for carry out. I do miss being able to sit and enjoy the square for dine-in but understand that they have removed all tables and chairs for compliance with the current COVID 19 guidelines. Highly recommend trying several flavors to find your favorite :) read more

I can't believe I haven't left a review for this place yet!! We love circles on the square! What a great little doughnut shop, with a ton of different options. You go in and place your order and they make them (incredibly fast!!) to order. I'm a classic kind of doughnut person and just love the strawberry with rainbow sprinkles, but my family has tried just about every other kind they make. The Buckeye doughnut is also another big hit. The employees are fast and very friendly. They've also reworked the shop to keep customer and employees safe during this time. read more

One of the best donut places in the state! Worth a drive if you're not from Medina. Try the breakfast cereal "CTC" donut.

You can close your eyes and smell your way into the front door of this fantastic little donut spot. They are made fresh daily and to order. They have a wide variety to choose from with all kinds of flavors and combinations. If you're looking to spoil yourself with a tasty breakfast treat, get a donut or as I call it "DBC" (desert breakfast cake ) You won't be disappointed. read more

Found this cute little gem in Medina a year ago when at the ice festival. It was no question that I had to go back this year when I was at the ice festival. The line was so long but it was moving quick. There are so many flavors and types of donuts that it's too hard to choose which ones we want. I already can't wait to go back and try some different donuts. read more

Great addition to Medina Square! I had been so excited to try Circles on the Square and it was easy to order online & pick up in store! The hours aren't long so be sure to order in the morning! The selection was delightful with unique and creative options and all together getting 6 donuts was not super expensive. It was super great being able to purchase a gourmet dessert at an affordable price and have left overs, 6 donuts is enough to last a few days especially since these donuts were a decent size and super decadent with toppings, the absolute best part was the donuts were still warm and fresh baked, overall the experience is one I will be happy to have again. I am sure I'll be back to visit soon and hope to see new flavors too! read more

This is easily one of the best doughnut shops in Northeast Ohio. I really like how they prepare your doughnut for you after you select from the display of probably 50 different flavor options. I highly recommend eating the doughnut right when you get it, because they are their best when they are warm and fresh. Circles on the Square also has a very friendly staff and what I believe is a very fair price point. I highly recommend! read more

Who doesn't love donuts? No seriously, that is my question. That being said. Some people do donuts right, and some people knock it out of the park. These are those people! The donuts are made right there in front of you. You see the dough drop into the lazy river of the fryer. After it's little journey the hot donut is glazed and coated right there. The glaze or toppings are then warm and gooey. It is fantastic. The shop is a cool location on the historic square in Medina and is delightfully simple. They are focusing on donut making, decor can come later. I'm cool with that! Love donuts? You will love these folks! read more

BRUHHHHH the donuts are so good. Like literally on point. They be valid for reals. It might be busy but that's bc everyone wants to go there

My daughter insisted we go in, and I'm so glad she did. Like it was so hard to convince me to buy a doughnut! This is the first gourmet doughnut shop I've been in so I wasn't sure exactly what to get looking at their large menu on the wall. Then I realized there was an entire tray of 12+ combinations on the counter! I asked their favorite and they steered me toward hot cocoa and raspberry streusel and they did not disappoint - my favorite of everything we picked actually! Sadly, while you'll want to take a dozen home, you'll also want to eat them all immediately while they're warm and extra delicious. May the odds be ever in your favor! Oh and an employee took to a plain doughnut to a dog outside so these are clearly good people! :) read more
