To start, I adore this concept and it is a very good idea and I think it fits perfectly on the square in Medina. the ability to grab a donut of your choice is very cool and innovative and not seen everywhere which I can appreciate. Circles on the Square offers a ton of different donut varieties to choose from, and they are made to order which is very nice, so you know the toppings have not just been sitting on the donut for a long time. the service was great and the woman behind the counter was friendly. The place is cute as well and offers seating if you choose to sit in and eat your goodies. The donuts themselves were pretty good but nothing special to me. they all use the same cake donut base and were pretty moist for the most part so the taste really depends on the toppings you choose but all taste pretty basic and what you would expect. overall, stop in here for the concept and cute idea and pics but in regard to taste they are your typical cake donuts with any of the flavors you desire! read more

We order a dozen mixed donuts among 7 girls (Buckeye, maple bacon, pumpkin cheesecake, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, salted caramel chocolate chip, white chocolate strawberry, and raspberry streusel. We told ourselves "let's have ONE bite while it's warm..." 10min later it's all gone! We stopped by today. I ordered a few donuts and while they were tasty, my complaint is Covid related. The cashier and 2 young girls who waited on me wear all wearing masks. However, a male who was stirring things and another older woman were wearing their masks, but had them dangling below their noses. If this had happened before I ordered and was leaving, I would have left. The other protocols seemed great. There was a table in front to see the donuts and the entire staff was behind it pretty far away. This place is the same as Peace, Love and Little Donuts where you get a flavored frosting and then toppings and they are made right in front of you. They had a good variety. My kids enjoyed them, but would have appreciated being able to order a beverage to wash them down. They don't sell hot chocolate which would be a great add for kids, especially for everyone walking outside who is cold. They also don't have straws for milk, so it would have been impossible for small kids. read more

Completely fine. My donut was rock hard, cold and 100% covered in powdered sugar which was not clearly apparent upon order. My kids were soft and warm and simple. I don't think I would order for myself again but if we are back in town I would for my boys. read more

I don't love these type of donuts but for what they are, they're yummy. I did enjoy the slightly crunch texture on the donut itself. A little backstory: I went to this place years ago and was slightly disappointed by the price and by the taste of the donuts not necessarily lining up with the price. However, today I decided I would try again. Walked in the door and was immediately surprised to see the prices had been lowered! (At least from what I remembered). Not only that, but the selection like tripled and they were all made fresh! Service was fast, friendly, and good. Taste was good. Price was good. And it's all located on the Medina square so walking distance from other fun little places to shop and eat and grab coffee, etc. Definitely recommend if you can find parking or don't mind a very short walk or are already on the square. I'm a classic kind of doughnut person and just love the strawberry with rainbow sprinkles, but my family has tried just about every other kind they make. The Buckeye doughnut is also another big hit. Great addition to Medina Square! I had been so excited to try Circles on the Square and it was easy to order online & pick up in store! The hours aren't long so be sure to order in the morning! The selection was delightful with unique and creative options and all together getting 6 donuts was not super expensive. It was super great being able to purchase a gourmet dessert at an affordable price and have left overs, 6 donuts is enough to last a few days especially since these donuts were a decent size and super decadent with toppings, the absolute best part was the donuts were still warm and fresh baked, overall the experience is one I will be happy to have again. My daughter insisted we go in, and I'm so glad she did. Like it was so hard to convince me to buy a doughnut! This is the first gourmet doughnut shop I've been in so I wasn't sure exactly what to get looking at their large menu on the wall. Then I realized there was an entire tray of 12+ combinations on the counter! I asked their favorite and they steered me toward hot cocoa and raspberry streusel and they did not disappoint - my favorite of everything we picked actually!
